About: I've housesat and taken care of dogs for friends and family members since I was a kid. I've been told I have an energy that animals really respond to. I can no longer have a pet of my own, and I miss my dog every day, I just want to be around dogs again, and help out pet parents. I just opened a bar on my own so it is practically impossible for me to have a dog full time, but my schedule is also flexible enough where I could make sure to give a lot of attention to a dog on a part time basis. I am happy to watch a dog at your home or mine, I have a fenced yard and plenty of parks and trails nearby to walk around.
About: We're CJ and Michael, a couple of lifelong dog lovers who both grew up with dogs and have been pet-sitting for neighbors, friends, and family for years. CJ is a resident physician, so she's calm, responsible, and great at following your care instructions to the letter. Michael works from home in consulting, which means your dog will have company, attention, and plenty of potty breaks throughout the day, not just at drop-in times. We live an active lifestyle and love long walks, exploring parks, and spending time outside — so high-energy pups fit right in with us. Just as happily, we'll match a mellow dog's pace with couch cuddles and slow strolls. Your dog will be treated like family: exercised, loved, and safe. We'll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax while you're away. Michael works from home full-time, so your dog will have company and attention throughout the day — not just quick check-ins. Walks fit naturally into our daily routine: a morning walk, a midday break, and once CJ is home from work, we take a long evening walk that your dog is more than welcome to join. We're active on weekends too and love bringing a dog along to parks and around the neighborhood. Your dog will stay in our clean, dog-friendly home with plenty of cozy spots to relax. We keep a consistent routine — regular walks, fresh water, and lots of attention. All walks are leashed, and we're careful about doors, gates, and anything a curious pup might get into. If your dog is crate-trained, we're happy to keep that routine going. We treat every dog like our own and send regular photo updates so you always know how they're doing.

This was our first time leaving Kayden with someone. He is still a puppy and is very attached to his family. Unfortunately we had a wedding to go to and was unable to bring him with us. David was an excellent choice to watch our dogs for a short trip. I was nervous for someone new to watch them, since they are trouble makers. He not only took such good care of them as well as taught them to mind and behave. David is really good at what he does and takes alot of care in helping train them as well. I would definitely give him 5 stars!!
Michael and Anne are friendly, caring and reliable people who communicated daily (pictures, texts) while we were gone for 8 days. They did a fabulous job following and carrying out very specific instructions for our dog with newly diagnosed chronic medical needs.
