“Joshua was 100% exceptional from the 1st communication to the end of his stay with our German Shepherd, Kai. He came over twice before the stay to get acquainted with Kai, the house, the neighborhood etc. He communicated daily with pictures of Kai and letting us know how she was, that she was eating and exercising. He stayed in our home from Friday-Sunday. All was clean and in order when we arrived home. We highly recommend him!”

About: Take a chance on a new Rover sitter! Ive been sitting for friends and family for roughly 10 years, and im looking to take my experice to the big leagues. I truly enjoy spending time with my furry friends and making sure they feel happy and comfortable when their parents are away. I tailor my care to each dog’s needs, whether that means extra playtime, helping nervous pups feel calm, or sticking closely to their normal feeding and exercise routine. I also offer little extras like bringing in mail, watering plants, and checking on the house so you can feel at ease while you’re away. Plus, I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. I work full-time in the Milwaukee area, but I have a flexible schedule that lets me work around your dog’s needs. About: I’m an 18-year-old pet sitter who has grown up caring for animals my entire life, including fish, hamsters, cats, and dogs. I’ve independently managed feeding, cleaning, exercise, and overall care for my pets while balancing school, athletics, and work. Through this experience, I’ve learned to be responsible, attentive, and patient, always making sure animals are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I treat every pet with the same care and respect I give my own. I’ve taken care of my neighbors dog during the day or throughout the night, watched my grandparents cats and dogs by stopping by periodically, and brought my friends dog to the groomer and vet. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I’ve grown up caring for animals my whole life. On a daily basis, I make time for feeding, fresh water, cleaning, playtime, and monitoring each pet’s behavior and health. Weekly routines include deeper cleaning, grooming, and making sure pets get consistent exercise and attention. I manage this around school and athletics. I care for pets by following a consistent routine that meets each animal’s individual needs, whether in my home or a client’s home. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water at all times, and receive plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise. I carefully follow any instructions provided, including dietary needs, medication, or specific routines, to keep pets comfortable and stress-free. This is just the same as I do at home everyday for my own pets!😊

About: My husband, Greg and I, have just started our 7th year with Rover. It started watching friend’s dogs during their work time and while Greg works from home, someone is usually home all the time. Kim has experience in working several years in a veterinary clinic giving her a keen eye for dog sicknesses, ailments and first aid. As a family, we train and compete with our own dogs in AKC events (conformation, obedience, agility, rally, hunt tests) as well as Kim teaching obedience classes for 10 years and trained many of our own dogs. For more than 20 years, we have volunteered with various breed Rescues, including fostering, temperament testing and dog transports. We thoroughly enjoy all dogs and working with them. Kim is more in tune with dog behavior and loves to be able to give each dog their time to acclimate to avoid undue stress. We currently have 2 high energy dogs that at the end of the day love to snuggle up with myself and the family. We also occasionally co-breed German Shorthair Pointers. Understanding the importance of knowing your family member is safe and well cared for in your absence, is priority for us. In addition, we are very able and willing to take care of special needs and senior pets as well. I’m a stay at home mom to my teenage boys, along with my husband who works from home. Together we offer all scenarios of the best possible pet care. I have a completely fenced yard and pets of my own to help keep your pup company. We have the capability to offer crate training if your pets need it.
