About: I am an online masters student with a flexible schedule and a great ability to befriend pets! I have looked after dogs and cats for my friends and family since middle school. I will bring a happy energy to your pet! My legal name is Mary but you can call me Mo :) I will prioritize the schedule and needs of your pet to ensure that they have consistency and the highest quality care during our time together. I have a gentle energy that I bring to interaction with my pets and will bring to yours. I love to play and interact on the terms of the pet.

About: I've always loved all dogs! My first love was our family dog who lived till age 17 and now I have a dog of my own that I've been caring for since 2021. Friends have trusted me to dog sit for them and I've cared for them as if they were my own. I'm very attentive and responsible so I'll follow any instructions you have for your furry friend. I work from home and have a lot of flexibility. I have a spacious fenced partly shaded backyard where your fur baby can play as well as space inside my house too for those hot Charlotte days. I also enjoy going on long walks in the neighborhood once or twice a day with my dog but I can alternate and take yours if you wish me to. I'm home for the majority of the day so I'm able to feed your pet at whichever time you want me to as many times as you wish. I'm also able to provide play time outside or go on walks with your fur baby.

“Lauren is truly great! Our meet and greet was so warm and reassuring, and her communication has been impeccable from the start. She really took the time to understand that my dog has some anxiety, and I trust her professional judgment completely when it comes to handling that with care and confidence. Her updates are always solid and thoughtful, and I’m so excited for her to continue walking my dog. Highly recommend!”

“Dominique was so wonderful! Angus absolutely loved his daily walks with her. Her clear communication and fun pictures made my day! I cannot wait for Angus to have an opportunity to spend time with Dominique in the future!!”

About: I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, and many other pets since I was 11 years old. Growing up, I would often care for my neighbors pets while they were away- they had 3 cats and 3 dogs. I also grew up in a household with cats, dogs, guinea pigs, etc. I love animals and have a lot of experience caring for them :) I currently work from home full time (except for Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and have a very flexible schedule, so I can definitely check in on your pets and walk them while you’re at the office, on vacation, etc. I live in an apartment complex and always ensure that I keep my apartment clean and pet friendly. For dogs, I love to take them on walks and to the dog park. There’s also plenty of trails, walking paths and parks in Charlotte I like to go to.

“Charlie is excellent 👌 for my Bosco. Responded really fast and allowed me in his schedule. Bosco is now tired and resting just what he needed. Will use consistently Thanks Charlie 😊”

“Madison treated my baby like one of her own and gave me amazing updates constantly. I will forsure continue to use Madison as my fur baby’s sitter whenever I need to go out of town again. Highly recommend!”

About: I have always had dogs in my life. I grew up on a farm and we had Goldens, Labs, and Great Pyrenees. I am no stranger to big dogs but I also love the little pups. In high school I volunteered at a Greyhound rescue. I would walk, feed and play with the pups as well as clean out their crates and their play yard. Two summers ago I had a babysitting and dog sitting job where I spent Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM with the child and the dog. I balanced the care of both the kid and the puppy, fed both and gave the dog walks. My most recent job was at Pet Wants Charlotte. To work there you're basically required to have a passion for animals. I went through extensive training and education in pet behavior and nutrition. I loved working there because we got to see pups everyday in the store and I felt very confident in my recommendations. I loved when a customer would come in with questions because I was able to exercise my knowledge and it was so rewarding for them to come back and tell me how much my recommendation helped them or how much their dog loved the food/product. Currently I am in school, so I can't have a dog but my roommates have two cats. I am currently a student at UNCC but I have a flexible schedule as most of my classes are online. I have no class Monday and Friday and am completely available on weekends. During the week I have classes Tuesday and Thursday from 1-2:30 and Wednesday from 6-7:30 and am available and flexible otherwise. My own cat sadly just passed but my roommates have two cats. Occasionally I scoop litter and feed the other two and I am always the one trusted with watching them when my roommates are traveling. When my cat was still with me I balanced his diet with wet food in the morning and fresh dry food at night, as well as keeping three stainless steel water fountains around my house. I scooped his litter once a day and fully emptied it and cleaned it every other week. I care very much about my animals and you can expect that same care and attention with yours. I love to go for runs and walks, especially if I'm doing that with a pup. I have no problem cleaning up mess or providing medicine as my roommates cat needs pill medication and eyedrops, which I have given before.

About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life! I had 3 dogs, 2 aquariums, and 2 birds growing up. I now have a pup of my own who I care for. I often take care of family and friend’s pets when they are out of town. My work schedule provides me flexibility so I am able to take the dogs out in the yard multiple times during the day or on a walk! Since my schedule is flexible it allows me to stick with pups routines. I have a fenced in yard that I let my dog, Izzy, out to roam but am usually out back to watch her. Whenever other dogs have been back there with her they zoom around and I ensure they play safely. Sometimes we switch it up and take walks around the neighborhood to get them new scents. My dog ,Izzy, is fully house trained so I do not put her in a crate. If I leave my home to run an errand I can put yours in their crate or in a separate room if that is preferred. Izzy loves other dogs - she loves to run around but also just chills. She is 5 yrs old so understands how to interact with dogs and not get in their face. I do let dogs up on the furniture and love to cuddle with them on the couch. We have multiple baskets of toys for them. If your dog is protective over toys I can put them away. Izzy is not protective over toys or food.

“McKenzie has been letting my puppy out about 1-3 times a week since thanksgiving. She is very prompt in replies and communicates well. She is super flexible and able to accommodate my often last minute changes. She leaves a good summary of the visit with photos each time and always updates the app so I get a notification when she’s arrived at my home and left. This is all very helpful with my fairly inconsistent work schedule/help needed.”

“I have used Mary twice. Once in August 2024 and again in May of this year. I have great peace of mind knowing that I can leave and enjoy my vacation while she takes care of my great pyrenees and my cats!! There is nothing more reassuring to me than someone who can care for my babies while i'm gone! And, if you know anything about a great pyrenees, you know, you have to have someone special to help you take care of them.”

Cande G.Star Sitter
“I had the pleasure of entrusting my furry friend to the care of Candelaria and I couldn't have been happier with the experience. She is not only a sweet and caring dog owner herself, but her own dog is a perfect example of how well she cares for animals. I felt completely at ease knowing that my dog was in such capable hands. It's hard to find someone who truly loves dogs and treats them like family, but Candelaria is definitely one of those people. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog sitter.”

“My sometimes picky pup fell in love with Abrianna and she is delightful!”

Susana S.
“Susie has been a fantastic sitter over the last three years for our rescue dogs! Both could be timid around new people, but took so easily to Susie and her pups. She’s watched our dogs since the youngest was about a year old and through our oldest hitting almost 12 years. We weren’t comfortable with the older dog being in boarding, so have someone she could be with was a must. Both would often get more excited to see her come through our door than me and my husband! We’ve trusted Susie both in our house and watching our pup at her place, and love that we can travel knowing our dogs are well taken care of and happy to be with her.”
