About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 6 and I’m great with all sizes, breeds and ages as I’ve helped multiple dogs give birth and I’ve also taken care of geriatric dogs. I have volunteered at Our Farm Sanctuary and I foster for The Rescue Haven My life has always been surrounded by dogs, I love my animals more than anything. The first thing I do when I wake up is take care of the dogs, take them on a walk and then give them their breakfast and enrichment bowls/mats. I base my daily routine off my pets! I have fenced in yard and three fixed golden retrievers that are sweethearts. If you use a crate, I do ask that you provide that as I only have 2 of my own and they are occupied by my two youngest dogs. I have to crate Tucker and Dixie because they will eat anything when they’re bored, INCLUDING a wall 🤣 the crate will be cleaned and sanitized before pickup. I also ask that you provide your own food, that way there’s no upset bellies! I have plenty of natural treats if you’re okay with your dog having them

Our babies are very large and can be intimidating if you don't give them a chance to show that they are loving, but she handled meeting them with care and confidence and they took to her almost immediately. She was respectful of our home, cleaned up after the dogs who are very messy/dirty, and also took care of the fish while we were away. Our newfoundland with separation anxiety is acting normal now that we're home, whereas he usually acts sick when we leave him alone for only 5-8 hours; so we know he was given lots of love and attention. About: Although I don’t have formal pet care experience, I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. At the age of 8, I was taking care of my first pet. He was a parakeet named Rufus. Before Rufus, I had grown up with a big cuddly rottweiler named Bear. Animals have been apart of my life for a long time, teaching me responsibility and unconditional love. Currently, I share my home with my mom’s playful Yorkie, my dad’s noble German Shepherd, and my own sassy little white cat, who keeps me on my toes. From feeding and grooming to cuddling and playtime, I understand the importance of providing pets with both care and affection, and I bring that same passion to every pet I look after. I currently work full-time, but will be off of work for the summer (June - August). I am in grad school full-time, but will be making myself available as often as possible to help fund my education. When caring for a pet in their home, I prioritize maintaining their routine to ensure they feel comfortable and safe in their familiar environment. I’ll follow any specific instructions provided by the pet owner, whether it's feeding schedules, medication needs, or special care routines. My approach is centered around providing companionship and mental stimulation, whether through playtime, walks, or simply cuddling. I believe in giving pets individual attention, so they know they are loved and cared for even when their owners are away. I also keep their living space clean and comfortable, ensuring their bedding, food, and water are fresh and properly maintained. Most importantly, I make sure to check in with the pet owner regularly, providing updates on their pet’s well-being.
