“Nicole was so great with our Lucy! She really loved her like her own. Lucy loved the long walks and extra snuggles with Nicole around. Will book again!!! Thanks a bunch for the help while I was away!!”

“Willow was amazing with our special needs and sometimes high maintenance dog! She sent plenty of updates and went above and beyond to make sure Karishma was comfortable for the week. The fact that Karishma was trying to play with her by the end of the week speaks volumes of how well Willow handled her since she doesn’t play with most people :) Willow, also, was very respectful of our house and left it in fantastic condition for when we got home!”

“Shannon had her hands full with my Aussie. He is a full blown herder and more vocal than your average husky. Additionally, Ozzy was recovering from a cold and antibiotics were making him feel yucky. Shannon was incredibly resourceful and worked with me to find solutions to help my fur baby feel comfortable and safe despite his mom being far away for a whole week. I sincerely appreciated her dedication!”

“Allie did a great job taking care of our shy little Maggie. It is obvious she is very caring in the much appreciated pictures and updates she sent while staying with pittie. Our house even seemed cleaner when we returned than when we left! We look forward to booking Allie again soon!”

“Harim was wonderful and took such great care of our girls! She was quick to respond, proactive, respectful, friendly, and very loving with our 2 fur babies. Highly recommend using her!”

“When Emily took care of my girl over spring break, I was nothing but comfortable the entire time being away from my dog. She was very loving and kind to her: always made sure her water bowl was full, fed her on time, walked her and let her sniff everything, but most importantly, Emily gave Jill space to get to know her on Jill’s terms. That’s important to me because she didn’t make Jill feel uncomfortable or pressured to like her, she let it happen naturally, and boy did it. I can’t recommend Emily enough, thank you!”

About: Hello! So nice to meet you. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and your pet(s)! My first name is Taylor, but please call me Marie (my middle and preferred name) :-) I am competent, thorough, communicative, responsible, punctual, respectful, honest, and have integrity. You can be assured that your pet(s) will be safe with me. I give periodic written updates with photos, I follow instructions carefully, I take attentive notes about your pet from your description and my own observations, I am focused and attentive when caring for your pet(s), and I respond promptly to messages. For pet sitting in your home, I am very tidy/respectful and will leave your home as clean as when I arrived, and I stay in only the designated area(s) and only touch what I need to (please show me where you keep cleaning supplies and your pets’ food or medications, etc.). I pick up after your pet and bring my own dog waste bags, leads, collapsible water bowl, and first aid kit, just in case. I pay attention to details, like the temperature (air/ground) being safe for walks. My preference is to suggest a “Meet-and-Greet” (whenever possible. I do typically accept short-notice requests where this may not be logistically possible) because it’s important to me that you AND your pet are comfortable with me (and I you). I am loyal and love to have repeat clients, but I also enjoy taking on one-time requests, I’m happy to help. I try to keep a pet’s routine as familiar as possible for their comfort and your peace of mind. A bit about my background: I'm currently enrolled (2026) in Penn Foster's Vet Tech Associate's Degree Program. I graduated with a 4.0 from Pima Medical Institute, Phoenix, in December 2020 from the Veterinary Assistant Program. I graduated magna cum laude ("with great praise") from ASU in 2015 with a BA in Creative Writing and a second BA in French linguistics/translation/literature. I also completed one semester of the Pre-Veterinary Medicine program at ASU. I am Fear Free Level 3 Certified (........), and currently I'm renewing my certification for 2026. I am RECOVER Initiative (CPR) certified (just renewed for 2026). I've worked for various Small Animal vet clinics on and off since 2018. I have been working with animals in some capacity since 2010 (technically years earlier, since I used to volunteer at our local humane society in elementary and middle school as a kid), and I’ve had my own pets since I was ~5 years old. I worked previously for Rover from July 2017 to May 2021, and took a hiatus because I moved, but unfortunately I no longer have my original Rover profile (Was listed as "Taylor E.", first name and maiden name initial). I had a 5-star rating from 35 people who were pleased with my pet care and communication and left positive reviews (thank you so much!!!) and had several repeat clients -- Please see screenshots of my previous Rover account reviews in my photo gallery. I love working for Rover, so I’m glad to be back! I have the experience to be able to care for certain special needs, and I will communicate with you honestly (at all times) if I feel a request/booking is beyond my scope of experience because my priority is your pet's safety and wellbeing and I feel they should be matched with the best possible carer. I have worked with a variety of cats/dogs of different ages, abilities/needs/conditions, sizes, and breeds, as both a veterinary assistant and pet sitter. As an important DISCLAIMER: While I do have years of vet assistant experience and formal vet assistant education, I am not a Veterinarian and not a CVT (i.e., I am not licensed to practice veterinary medicine); I can only care for your pet in the capacity as a pet sitter / dog walker and cannot provide medical care or diagnose or prognose, etc. I will always refer you to your local Vet for that type of care and will not do anything outside of my scope of expertise for the safety of your pet (and to abide by the law). In the event of an emergency I can provide first aid/CPR and transport your pet to the vet. About our pets at home: My husband and I have two wonderful cats (1 adopted, 1 we rescued) and two wonderful dogs (adopted by us from the humane society after they were rescued from dire situations, respectively; one of which is a tripod and one is a disabled senior that wears diapers) -- I gravitate especially towards rescues and seniors that need a little extra care, and I especially love cats. Every pet is so special and deserves a safe and happy home! Thank you so much for your consideration. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! -- Marie When receiving a booking request, I will communicate in detail about my availability to ensure it meets your expectations and your pet's needs. I’m a transparent and thorough communicator, and I’ll let you know of any prior commitments that I may have during a house stay request. I also do real-time check-ins/updates, so you’ll always know how your pet is doing, what we’re up to, and when I am present and when I leave your home. My day-to-day work/school is remote and flexible, so I can choose my own hours and follow your pet’s daily routine (waking/sleeping/feeding, etc.), and give them lots of both active, attentive quality time (undivided attention playing with them, walking them, petting them, brushing them, caring for them, etc.) and hangout time (for example, sitting on the couch together). Whenever possible, I can take short-notice and same-day requests. I have evening classes most weekdays for ~2-4 hours, depending on the day, and occasional performances on weekends, but typically no other scheduling commitments from May to September annually. From September through May (9 months, Fall to Summer), I am unavailable Saturdays and some Fridays (mostly First Fridays) due to our performance schedule. For a healthy pet that can be safely left alone, I still always spend as much time with them as possible and only leave the house for meals (and/or can bring food) and/or class, an occasional errand, depending on how long the stay is. I arrive well-prepared to minimize the need to exit the home. I will discuss my availability and your pet's needs in detail before accepting a booking to be sure it is mutually a good fit. For any booking, your pet’s care and safety is my primary responsibility and I take my duty of supervision and care with the utmost seriousness (don’t worry, I’m also fun!). I also care deeply for their emotional well being, so while I have to be realistic about my own schedule and needs (my classes, the need to eat, etc.), I don’t leave them unattended or lonely for any longer than I have to. In your home or on a dog-walk, I will give your pet(s) my full attention to their safety, well-being, and happiness. I am consistent and committed to staying up to date on the latest behavioral and scientific/medical knowledge. I am thorough and I carefully follow directions and will ask for clarification if needed to ensure I am prepared for your pet's specific care. I am experienced and knowledgeable, and you can trust me in your home and with your precious pets. If they have a special need that I am not qualified for handling or have experience with, I will be honest and not overstate my skills (I want your pet to be in great hands with the best fit possible as much as you do). I am gentle, calm, and kind, and can also be silly/fun/playful/energetic, or very quiet; I try to adapt to your pet’s personality, comfort, and needs. I've worked with a range of pets, from quiet seniors and calm cats to rambunctious puppies, giant-breeds, and anxious pets. And while I love them all, I most especially gravitate towards cats, seniors, and differently-abled pets. I unfortunately cannot care for your pets in my own home (such as daycare or pet sitting in my home) because I have four of my own at home with special needs and routines. (Note that when I’m away on a house stay, they are in great hands with my husband, so while I miss them dearly when gone, my own pets are very loved and looked after.) ***I’m not accepting puppies at this time due to my varied availability/classes, or most Large/Giant breeds only because I’m healing a neck/shoulder injury; I'm not assuming about your pet that they pull on a lead, but I want to ensure I could safely carry/transport them in the event of an emergency.***

About: Hi! I’m Courtney, a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, daycare, or overnight stay, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I work from home, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I understand that every pet has their own routine, quirks, and needs, and I do my best to make their time with me feel as close to home as possible. For pets staying in our home, safety and comfort are my top priorities. All pets are fed separately to ensure a stress-free mealtime experience, and they’re welcome on the furniture for snuggles and relaxation. We also have plenty of toys available for sharing, enrichment, and playtime throughout the day. Our large, grassy backyard gives dogs plenty of space to explore and enjoy supervised outdoor time. You’ll receive regular photo updates and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and love building lasting relationships with both pets and their people. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I already structure my days around caring for my own dog. Daily walks, playtime, feeding schedules, enrichment, and making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for are already a regular part of my life. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to accommodate drop-ins, walks, daycare, and overnight care throughout the week. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so caring for pets feels less like a task and more like something I truly love doing. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress free as possible. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention and affection. I’m also comfortable administering medications, following detailed care instructions, and adapting to each pet’s personality and needs. I always aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. In my own home, pets are treated like family. I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of supervision, playtime, potty breaks, walks, and space to relax. I also have a friendly, well-socialized dog who does well with other animals, and I always prioritize slow introductions and safety to make sure everyone is comfortable.
“Daniel was great with our three pups! We have a pointer mix, Rottweiler, and Shar Pei/Lab mix, and his calm demeanor was a perfect fit. He kept us updated on their day and took lots of amazing photos of them. Would highly recommend and will be using him again.”

“Mae was a wonderful and caring sitter for my dog Winston. She went above and beyond and you can tell she really cares for and loves animals. She took care of Winston’s needs well and I cannot recommend her enough!”

“Zack did an amazing job with our pup! He not only kept us updated but sent little videos and pics throughout the weekend to put us at ease. He also left the house in wonderful condition when he left and we will definitely be using him again for future trips!! Highly recommend!!”

About: I have loved dogs my whole life - what kid didn't have an encyclopedia of dogs, right? I have had my own dogs since I was 5 years old and socialized often with my neighbor's hunting dogs at a young age. Needless to say, I am happy to meet any kind of pup you may have! I am experienced with housesitting up to 6 dogs of various sizes at once, including dogs with special needs (i.e.: no vision, lack of hearing, diapers, medications, and more), so please do not hesitate to ask about these kinds of requests. I work full-time in a hybrid role at ASU, so I am available to be at home with your pups on Tuesdays and Fridays during the week and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. This allows me to accommodate bathroom breaks and any midday needs. During other weekdays, I will typically work 8-5pm without the availability to check in on the pets until I arrive home. No one pup, cat, or pack of animals is the same so personalization is crucial. I meet you and your family where they are at, any and all quirks included. Feel free to leave that long list you aren't sure how to explain to the sitter. Tell me how they love to play their favorite games, where their favorite cuddle spots are, and any fears or dislikes they may have. I aim to make the transition away from your care to mine as seamless as possible, so everyone feels supported and comfortable.
“Andrea was absolutely AMAZING! One of our dogs is adopted and doesn’t like a lot of people but she did great with him. We had no worries while we were in Mexico because we knew they were in good hands. We definitely hope to have Andrea dog sit for us again soon.”

“This was the first time I left my dog for an extended stay with someone who was not friends/family. I felt very safe with the house sit/dog sit arrangement and that allowed me to relax and enjoy my trip. I appreciated how communicative she is - sent photos of their jaunts to the dog park and let me know that he got into a tussle with a cat. Highly recommend her!”

“Delaney did such an amazing job with Loki! He had so much fun! I will definitely be rebooking in the future. She took such awesome care of him and was very communicative as well, which reassured me a lot”

Pepperwood pet parents share their Rover experiences
Zack did an excellent job caring for our babies. He was communicative throughout the entire stay, followed all of our instructions carefully, and gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We were especially impressed with the care he provided to our senior diabetic dog. Zack handled insulin injections and other medications confidently and reliably, which was incredibly important to us. It's clear he genuinely cares about the pets he looks after. Thank you for taking such great care of Graham and Winslow. They absolutely loved you, and we would not hesitate to book with you again in the future. Highly recommended!

I was a little nervous about leaving Riley with someone new, but as soon as I started talking with her, I felt reassured. She was very direct about what she could do for Riley and clearly communicated her schedule. We met the same day, and she instantly put me at ease. We had a great conversation about Riley, his routine, and expectations. She was incredibly sweet, comforting, and asked thoughtful questions that showed she genuinely cared. She checked in on Riley the next day and sent pictures and videos, which I absolutely loved seeing. She never hesitated to reach out and keep me updated. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and she will definitely be my go to person for Riley from now on!

I highly recommend Heaven! She was incredibly kind, reliable, and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. Communication was excellent throughout the entire stay, and she regularly sent updates and photos so I always knew how my dog was doing. It was clear that she genuinely cared for my dog and treated him like her own. Knowing he was happy, safe, and well cared for gave me so much peace of mind. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter! 🐾

Mae was SO great with our dogs, turtle and fish! That’s right, she even fed and played with our turtle!! The dogs LOVED her! We really appreciated how much she communicated the whole time and sent pictures. Absolutely recommend her for overnight stays, would hire her again!

I truly appreciate Daniella stepping in on such short notice to care for my dogs. She was attentive, caring, and made me feel at ease during a stressful situation. My dogs seemed to genuinely love her, and it was clear she spent quality time playing with them and keeping them active. Most importantly, I felt they were safe and well cared for in her hands, which meant so much to me. I’m very grateful for her help and would absolutely recommend her to others.
