She has cared for our 4 (previously 6!) dogs and 1 cat on many occasions. They are a big group with some behavioral issues/nuances, and I fully trust her to handle them safely. They also all have their own food foods, medications, and feeding instructions - and she pays close attention to detail in ensuring this is handled correctly. Josi has stopped in to check on them/give breaks on long days away and has held the fort down on weekends/weeks away. Our animals all love her and she adores them like they are her own pets. I’m the go to dog sitter for my best friend’s Husky & Shepard who is a tripod (3 legged king), so even though I’m new on the app I have a couple repeat clients! I used to volunteer at Pasado’s Safehaven in Washington, and my favorite thing was to bottle feed the cows! I’ve also fed & changed swan bedding on the swan committee, fostered a bob cat, squirrels, horses, and birds. For personal pets I have experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, parakeets, canaries, cockatiels, leopard geckos, anoles, hermit crabs, tarantulas, various fish and aquatic critters/plants. I’m HOME: Mondays,Tuesdays,Wednesdays,Thursdays. In OFFICE: Friday 7:30-4:30pm, Saturday 8am-5pm w/ 1 hour lunch breaks to check on your pet! I also have a pet cam I can talk to them, send you pics, and dispense treats :) I will make sure we do a meet and greet so we can discuss any specific needs/safety concerns you might have! I have a lot of space and working from home makes frequent checks as simple as looking over from my work desk. My apartment unit is also directly across from the complex dog park and a large grass area! I will treat your home with respect and when watching animals and my own home, I do not watch multiple animals from different households to ensure that no issues were to ever arise in a negative altercation. I do have a preference of housesitting at clients homes due to just the comfortability of the animals environment not changing. They tend to already have a little bit of anxiety with the owner, leaving and changing their environment can sometimes for some animals heighten that anxiety.
About: Taking care of pets has been a huge part of my life for over 30 years. In addition to caring for my own pets throughout the years, I have helped many friends and family with their pets when they aren’t able to. I know how important it is to provide love, attention and care is for our fur babies.
