“Amy was wonderful to work with from start to finish! As a first time Rover user, I wasn't sure what to expect, but she was kind, accommodating and made our family feel at ease while we were on vacation. It's easy to see she's great at what she does, really cares about the dogs she's taking care of and treats them like family. Her Rover check-ins were always fun, informative and included pictures that brought a smile to our face. She even left a Halloween goodie bag for our dog Cooper, along with a "thank you" note - nice touch! We'll definitely be working with Amy again next time we go on vacation. Thanks for a great experience, Amy!”

“Meghan followed all the instructions and even did a bit of extra cleaning on her last day. She was accomodating and a pleasant person to work with.”

“We have had Megan let our dogs out multiple times. She is so responsive and does a wonderful job taking care of our two old dogs. We highly recommend her!”

“Heather did a great job caring for my cat. I would most definitely recommend her services for your pet. She was prompt and courteous. My cat is very shy and Heather had no problem getting the cat to warm up to her. Just an overall positive experience.”

About: I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a small dog from the time I was born through elementary school, and once I went off to college in 2000, I would do everything possible to hang out with friends dogs. Upon moving back to the Philly region in 2007, I started dog sitting and walking for a friend until 2010 when I had a place of my own, at which time I started with fostering dogs having up to 4 dogs at a time. During that time I become a dog parent myself to 1 and then 2 dogs. When I became pregnant with twins, I stopped fostering and then raised my twins with 2 big dogs by their side. During this time I would also dog sit a neighbors dog, and would have 3 large dogs to take care of. I have trained the foster dogs and then my adopted dogs anywhere from 12 weeks through 3 years, most who had experienced neglect and trauma, so I’ve had many experiences with dogs. A friend recommended I use rover as she knows how much I miss having a dog around and the joy a dogs presence gives me. Outside of appointments and driving my kids places after school, I am home, so I have lots of availability to play with dogs, take dogs on walks and have them overnight. I have experience with getting dogs to take medicine, experience with dogs who will eat everything in sight, experience with crate trained dogs, dogs who are house-trained, but not crate trained, and dogs who aren’t trained at all (but at this time, I can not take on the latter for house sitting in my home). I have experience with dogs who are frightened of loud noises (fireworks, thunderstorms, yelling), dogs who are always the shadow next to you and so much more. If your pup is used to sleeping in bed, we have 4 people (3 kids and myself) who would be happy to make that happen. I would love to take care of your fur-baby whether it’s a drop-in visit, a walk, doggie daycare or overnight stays in my home. I’m currently out of work, and looking to create a daily structure with dog walks, dog hikes playing with a dog, etc. with this, I can provide as much time with your pet as needed. Your dogs safety and needs will be my top priority. Outside of the home (or fenced in backyard), your dog will always be on a leash. If your dog is crate trained, or has specific environmental needs, I will make sure to keep those routines so the dog feels safe. Please know that I care and love dogs deeply, and am of the mind that a dog is calmest and on its best behavior when it’s human can provide it structure and “discipline” (ie show the dog the human is the boss). My kids have been taught to respect a dogs space and how to properly approach a dog. Please know that any dog in my care (via house sitting or walking) will be well loved, treated with respect and receive plenty of walks and playtime.

“Alex was great and I hope to user her again for dog sitting in the future. She had good communication, was easy to work with, and got along with my dog Oso. Thank you!!”

About: I’ve been passionate about animals for as long as I can remember, from the time I was just a little girl wanting to be a vet when I grew up. I am a dog mom of 1, I found my forever dog—a loyal Akita/Lab mix—through fostering. I got him when he was just a puppy, and raising him has taught me so much about training, patience, and the deep bond we can share with our pets. Whether your pet needs exercise, snuggle, or just someone to hang out with, I’m here to help. Pet care fits seamlessly into my everyday life. I have a flexible schedule and am available throughout the day to give pets the attention they need—whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, or just some company. I'm also naturally active and love being outdoors, so daily walks and outdoor time are part of my routine anyway. Caring for animals isn't something I squeeze in—it's something I truly enjoy and make time for every day. When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, needs, and preferences—whether that means sticking to specific feeding times, daily walks, playtime, or simply giving them space and comfort. I treat every home with respect and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for while you're away.

“Bria was responsive and a good communicator. She was available on short notice, did a great job, and kept me informed about the pups. I would use her again when needed.”

“Colleen is as reliable as they come. My pooch is a little particular but trusts her fully and she always helps make our lives easier.”

About: I have had pets all of my life. I grew up around dogs of all shapes and sizes. My kids (9, 6, and 4) are also used to dogs and are gentle with them. I am a teacher so I am at work from 8-3:30. During the summer, I am home most of the time. Additionally, I would be able to let the dogs free in the house during the day. We have a small yard in the front but a large side yard that the dogs would be able to enjoy. We also have a lead in the yard if the dogs would like to stay outside for extended periods. We have one dog in our home but she is used to other dogs as my family has six dogs when we are all together. We also have a cat but he typically goes into a room alone. Additionally we have gates in our home so that the dogs can stay on the floor that we are on if necessary. We have a pretty consistent schedule and I only work ten minutes from our house. So, I can stop home if necessary to care for the dogs. We have a large size yard which has a large lead in order to let the dogs roam and relax. We also take our dog for a walk in the morning, after work, and after the kids go to bed.

“Henry ❤️ Bryn! She took great care of him while we were on vacation. In addition to feeding and other basic care, she was his play companion and advocate. She sent us daily “action shots” that show Henry joyfully playing cat soccer, catch, and hide and seek with her. She also payed close attention to how he responded to the feeding schedule. When it seemed he was hungrier than expected, she messaged us to discuss giving him a bit more food each day. Henry and his people enthusiastically recommend Bryn for cat care!”

“Savannah was a joy! We absolutely will be reaching out to her every time we need a sitter from now on! She was easy to communicate with. We felt a lot less anxious leaving our 3 cats for 10 days knowing she would be there to look in on them.”

“Kelsey responded quickly and directly. No drama, scheduling and coordinating was very easy. I was very excited that Kelsey sent more than one picture for each of the visits. We’ll try to use her again!”

About: I was able to train our family’s golden retriever all the basic commands within one month. She was also potty trained within 6 weeks! I care for animals like they are my own children because they’re so sweet and innocent. They deserve all the good things in life 💕 I recently opened my own business in the health and wellness industry! I am able to manage my own time - so I have open availability. I’m also trying to convince my husband to adopt a dog of our own, so this will aid in my ability to sway him that we’re capable of having a dog in our own home! I keep my own space clean and clutter free. I respect each household and leave spaces the way I found them- if not better. I care for pets as if they’re my own children. The more treats and snuggles the better!

“THank you! We appreciated Chris coming to meet our senior girl before the actual date. He was on time and gave us a good report afterward too. Will ask him again for sure.”

About: I work remote as a photo editor & graphic designer. I love to spend my free time walking & hiking..preferably with a pup! I also have experience with cats, kittens, rabbits & other rodents & reptiles as well as puppies & senior dogs & dogs with disabilities. I can dispense medication. I get along with animals of varying personalities 😁 I work remote & have a flexible schedule, so i can work around your pet's schedule. I'm up by 7am & down by 11pm (usually). No dogs allowed in my apt, so i'll come to you! I am very vigilant about safety. I triple check everything- locks, sharp objets, & loud noises. I clean up after your dog & also myself.

“I really appreciate Maya’s patience with Oreo. She took her time with the overly excited dog and built a relationship with her, and I definitely book her again! I’m glad Oreo has a new friend!”

“Emma was amazing! She watched my cat for a whole month while I was gone. She was able to do everything I asked of her including looking after my house and taking care of my plants in addition to pet duties. Plus my cat immediately warmed up to her. Highly recommend! Will be using her again in the future.”

About: I had 3 dogs of my own over the years. I have done dog sitting, walking, and driving to daycare and grooming for my neighbors and friends. I’m currently working part-time but I am an empty nester so I have a very flexible schedule to play and take care of your pets. I will follow the owner’s instructions on how they would like me to care for their pet while in their home and outside their home.

About: I was born into a dog household and all my relatives have always had dogs too. I recently moved to FL into my retired parents apartment and would LOVE the company while I’m applying to mental health graduate school programs, but cannot currently commit to a pup of my own. I currently live in my parents super dog friendly and loving apartment complex as I am applying to graduate schools. I am home all day working so I can easily walk a dog regularly and honestly need the excuse for more fresh air and a quick walk. We live in a very spacious 4 bedroom apartment that has a fenced in private deck along most of the exterior. Our complex has very good security at the gate in addition to needing a key fob to enter any building or recreational area. A key fob is also needed to go anywhere in the elevators, which opens directly into our apartment. On any given side our entire complex is enclosed by a hedge, the gate, or a private marina. Additionally, we have 2 individual security guards monitoring the grounds 24/7. We have specific areas designated to dog walking and playing outside (with their own little fire hydrants) and waste bags & bins are provided along the sidewalks. I promise this really will be a very safe and happy place for pet to be very well cared for.
