She was understanding with one cat who was cautious and slow to warm up and another who is very shy and only wanted to hide. Once the cats were feeling more comfortable, she gave them lots of cuddles and play and was very communicative with us throughout. She left our litter area in perfect condition! About: It wasn't until 2012 when I rented a home with a fenced yard that I adopted my first canine companion. Prior to that time, I always lived with cats and was the friend people thought of when they needed someone to do house and pet-sitting. I sat with quite a few small dogs, as well as a giant pit bull named Miles and a sweet special needs senior lab named Boogie. In my rural home on 3 acres are two 20 pound terriers named Jack and Sadie. They do not have a fenced yard to run around in, but always get at least three good walks each day (locally, on trails, dog parks). They're extremely bonded and are good with other small dogs and cats.

About: I grew up in the Endless Mountains of Sullivan County, PA. This meant I spent a lot f time outdoors bringing in animals that my parents would have preferred stay outside. Circa 2011, a stray female cat chose to make our brush pile a home for her & her kittens. One of these kittens, Bobart (she/her), is still with my parents today! Though most of my care experience pertains to sitting dogs, I am also familiar with cat care since I grew up always having at least 1 in the house. I'm at school so my dad takes care of my dog when I am away. When I get home I take my dog on a walk around outside my house. We are mostly free on everyday. About: CPR trained for animals I personally have a dog and two cats. I enjoy taking my dog on walks, sunbathing in our fenced in yard or winding down with a movie. I think socializing is important for dogs such as at dog parks, daycare or one on one. I have a hybrid work schedule Monday-Friday which allows be to be flexible to when you need a helping hand. I usually go into the office 2-3 days a week. My boyfriend is a teacher and is home for the summer. If there is a need when I’m at the office he is able to help out. This would be clearly communicated prior to the visit and would include him being present for the original meet and greet. I prefer harnesses over collars for walks but, I’m comfortable with however you want your dog/cat cared for. I’m a very patient person which I think is a good characteristic to have when it comes to animals. I have a fenced in yard and live next to a park which I walk my dog in 2-3x a day for those looking for boarding.

She took my Nala on big walks, let her out on a leash in the yard, and was attentive to her, sent me multiple pictures and videos, and I can tell my dog wants to go back. As it was my 60-lb Golden Retriever’s first time at a house with a cat, I set up a meet and greet and I could tell my dog felt right at home. Jacqueline was super communicative and warm prior to and during the boarding process. I could tell by the photos that my dog was comfortable and I was afraid she wouldn’t want to come back with me! “Andrew and Jacklynn were fantastic sitters for our pup, Stella. We needed boarding very last minute and they were so accommodating to our needs and loving to Stella. Their pup Rocky is so sweet and gentle (my daughter loved petting him!) and was easygoing with Stella. I felt great going away for 4-5 days knowing she had pup friends and great humans caring for her. Definitely will choose them again and highly recommend!”
