“Thank you for giving the cats so much love and attention two weekends in a row! We also really appreciate you keeping an eye out for any basement leaks with the heavy rain storm.”

“Elise took wonderful care of my cat while I was away for the weekend. She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures - it’s clear she really cares about animals and takes wonderful care of them. I would definitely use her services again or recommend her to others!”
“Heather is amazing! She is incredibly reliable, professional and so patient. Our very energetic dog enjoyed two long walks with her, and we look forward to welcoming her back soon.”

About: I grew up with dogs within my family and through friends. I watched my neighbors dogs throughout high school, as well as the dogs for the families I babysat for. I also currently have a dog of almost 4 years, so I understand the level of attention a dog may need especially in the training years. I’m currently working a full-time hybrid job, so I am home and available Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I am completely available on weekends. I am also available Tuesdays and Thursdays after 7:00pm. I will care for your pet however you would like for me to. I can provide sitting, walking and feeding services and I am flexible!
About: I’ve always had dogs in my life and love spending time with them. I’ve cared for my own pets for years, including raising and training my current dog, who is now three years old. I’m experienced with daily routines like feeding, walks, playtime, and basic training, and I always treat animals with love and respect. While most of my experience is personal, I bring a reliable and caring approach to every pet as if they were my own! I work from home four days a week, and I am usually local on weekends, so my schedule is flexible. I’m home throughout the day to provide walks, playtime, and drop-ins. My schedule makes it easy to pop by during mornings, lunch breaks, or evenings to check in, feed, or give some love and attention as needed. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I have a labrador retriever who gets along with other animals and a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor play. I keep a close eye on all pets, maintain their usual routines, and make sure they feel comfortable and loved.
About: I have had a dog in the family since I was 12. My 15 year old Beagle was my best friend and we would go on multiple walks a day up until she passed last November. I love being around animals and would love to get your pet outside and put a smile on their face :) I am a Nanny full time to 3 kids and a golden retriever! We go on walks together everday, however I love to go on outdoor walks in my spare time as well. What’s better than walks by yourself? Walks with a furry friend! I am available Mondays and Wednesdays and Friday’s from 9:30-1:30. I have a fenced in yard, and a playful black lab mixwho loves to run and sniff. After I leave your home it will look exactly as I found it and your dog will be much happier!

I have lots of love for all the doggies out there big and small and can’t wait to get to know yours :) I am currently working part-time so I have a lot of availability to spend time with your pup! I am available for multiple potty breaks throughout the day and walks in the morning and afternoon/evening. I love to take my dog & dogs in my care out for adventures to experience more than their home! I have experience with dogs on the beach and hiking with dogs. About: I have had dogs all my life! My family has had 3 golden retrievers and they have all lived long and happy lives. I recently moved to Hanover from Southie where I was managing a very successful dog walking business; Hounds in the Hub! I am really missing all of my puppy friends back in Southie. I spend my free time golfing, boating and volunteering as a dog walker at my local animal shelter. At the shelter I went through extensive training to learn how to handle all types of dogs. I have experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments. I am very experienced, reliable and prompt, your dog will be safe with me! I have a fairly flexible schedule on Monday, Wednesday and Friday when I am working from home. I am mostly free on weekends as well. I live on an acre of land and have a very large backyard that abuts to some beautiful walking trails that I love to utilize!
About: I’ve always been the “go-to” pet sitter for friends and neighbors. With my own dog 🐕 and cat 🐈 at home, I know how much they mean to you, and I’ll make sure they get plenty of love and attention while you’re away. I work from home part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of free time to dedicate to caring for pets, giving them attention, and sticking to their routines. At my home, pets enjoy plenty of space and attention! I have a large backyard for safe outdoor time, plus walking paths right next to the house for daily strolls. My 4-year-old King Charles Spaniel is the sweetest and always happy to have a furry friend around. Our 7-year-old cat mostly minds his own business—unless it’s mealtime, of course! I also have two kids, ages 11 and 5, who are gentle, respectful, and love spending time with animals. It’s a calm, loving environment where your pet will feel right at home.
About: "Caring nursing student eager to fill my time by offering lots of love and attentive care for your furry friends! Your pets will adore me! I’m currently a full time nursing student but I’m looking to fill my extra time during the week while also helping a fellow pet parent out. I love going for walks and playing with hyper dogs but I also love relaxing and cuddling with lap dogs. I like to read the situation and change my plan to the personality of different animals
“Entrusting a beloved pet to someone else’s care can be a daunting experience, filled with concern and apprehension. However, discovering Sam who is both compassionate and highly reliable transforms this process into one of ease and reassurance. I am delighted to share my overwhelmingly positive experience with Sam, whose dedication, attentiveness, and genuine affection for animals have truly enriched the lives of both myself and my girlfriend as well as our cherished companion Bentley. One of the aspects we most appreciated was the consistent and thoughtful communication Sam provided. Each day, I received detailed updates, including photographs and descriptions of our pet’s activities. These messages allowed my girlfriend and I to remain connected with Bentley afar and eased any anxiety we might have felt about being away.”

“Jordan was literally a lifesaver. I initially hired her to come check on my cat a few times a day while I was across the country, but after a disaster with another pet sitter she ended up caring for my five month old puppy Scout too. My puppy can be quite a handful, but Jordan did everything possible to care for her. She went way above and beyond taking care of both of my pets, including regularly carrying Scout up a steep flight of stairs because she can’t climb them well. I got plenty of updates and pictures and never once doubted my pets were in great hands. She even brought my cat some new toys, which he’s been batting around for hours. I can’t begin to express how much I appreciate her care and attention in an emergency situation, and I know my pets feel the same way.”

Pembroke cat parents share their Rover experiences
Heather was amazing with our two cats, even our shy one. We were incredibly thankful that she thought to do a short meet and greet before we left on our trip. She was stopping by daily and the cats seemed so excited to see her! They're usually not too keen in playing with strangers, but Heather was able to make them feel comfortable enough to actually engage and be their usual silly selves. We'll definitely hire Heather the next time we need a cat sitter.
