“Meghan is fantastic! She always provides thorough and timely updates on my dog, which has been such a relief. Knowing my dog is in great hands gives me real peace of mind. Highly recommend booking with Meghan!”

“After booking a six day sitting, I asked if she would be available for an additional walk if our flight was delayed, just in case. Well it happened, we were delayed. A quick message through Rover.com from the Geneva, Switzerland airport and the ‘Girls’ were covered. Thank you, Elise!!!!!”
“Kim is always so good to our boys. She goes out of her way to make sure their feeders or working probably and has gone out to get battery replacements a few times. She’s the best and we love her!”

“Julia has a kind, gentle and fun way with animals. She has worked with a wide variety of animals. Prior to her initial visit, Julia was easy to communicate with regarding my wishes and concerns. During her visit with my 4 year old Portuguese Water Dog, she exceeded my expectations. She has a great attention to details. My dog was all smiles in the pics from her visit and seemed less needy than usual for my attention when I returned home from work that day. I have booked Julia for regular future visits and would highly recommend her to other pet parents!”
“Finding Adriana feels like I won the dog walker lottery. She’s so fun with the photo updates she sends of my dog and I love how comfortable my dog feels with her. She’s always punctual and communicative - can’t thank her enough!”

“Took our booking request so last minute (during the holidays no less) and did everything we asked and more. She came in to take care of our kitties while we weren't able to.”

About: I grew up with dogs within my family and through friends. I watched my neighbors dogs throughout high school, as well as the dogs for the families I babysat for. I also currently have a dog of almost 4 years, so I understand the level of attention a dog may need especially in the training years. I’m currently working a full-time hybrid job, so I am home and available Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays before 8:30am, between 12:00pm and 1:00pm, and after 5:00pm. I am completely available on weekends. I will care for your pet however you would like for me to. I can provide sitting, walking and feeding services and I am flexible!
About: I absolutely love animals, especially dogs. I have been an animal lover and pet owner my whole life but have been a professional pet care specialist for 7+ years. I now work in an animal hospital but in the past I managed a doggy daycare for 2 years and worked for professional dog walking companies for a total of 4 years. I specialized in the hiking program but I can do it all when it comes to your fur babies. From hiking, walking, park trips, in home pet sitting, administering medication, work on reinforcing basic commands and even checking in on your feline friends! I currently work for an animal hospital but still have time to spoil your fur babies. I am available Saturday through Monday and most early mornings, afternoons and evenings throughout the rest of the week. I am based in Pembroke but open to traveling. My dog and cats live a very spoiled life and get treated like royalty and I will care for your pets the same way. I will ask you questions about their daily schedule so that I can replicate it to my best ability when they are in my care.

About: I've always loved dogs and cats and felt very passionate about them. I have two years animal shelter experience taking care of dogs and cats. This included feeding several different types of foods and diets to pets, ensuring pets' safety, cleaning cages and kennels, cleaning litter boxes, and taking out dogs into the yard. I am available most days and times every week to care for your pets. I offer mostly drop ins and I do have exceptions like I will be going on vacation this month so just message me within one day to request a booking. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I pay attention to dogs and cats body languages to ensure their safety needs and emotional needs are met. I let pets come to me first so that they can feel comfortable and safe around me. I treat every pet with respect and if they do not want to say hi yet, that is totally fine with me I will feed them and clean litterbox, etc and they will warm up to me eventually. I watch puppies and young dogs very carefully so that they do not get into trouble and I always make sure the floors are puppy/dog proofed.
About: I have loved every dog I’ve ever met, no matter what they were like. My love for dogs is endless, I have owned multiple in my life and have taken care of many pets from friends and family. I’m also someone who loves to walk, no matter the weather. I would never pass up the opportunity! I would be a perfect fit for your dog 🐶!!! I am currently a college student on winter break, so my schedule is pretty open! I do have a dog of my own to take care of, but other than that I will be very likely to be able to help out you and your dog! I am not currently able to care for any pet at my own home, but I am completely able to go to your home and take care of your dog there! I am super open to whatever needs your dog may have or whatever may be happening at your home. No matter what, I’ll make sure your dog is safe and cared for!
“Need someone last minute. John responded promptly and was very communicative during his stay since it was his first time looking after my dog. Took him for a pee break and a little walk and gave him treats and my dog looked happy. Very pleased. Thanks!”

About: I’ve always had dogs in my life and love spending time with them. I’ve cared for my own pets for years, including raising and training my current dog, who is now four years old. I’m experienced with daily routines like feeding, walks, playtime, administering medications if applicable, and I always treat animals with love and respect. While most of my experience is personal, I bring a reliable and caring approach to every pet as if they were my own! I work from home four days a week, and I am usually local on weekends, so my schedule is flexible. I’m home throughout the day and can provide potty breaks when needed and playtime during lunch hour and in the evenings. My schedule makes it easy to pop by during lunch or evenings to check in, feed, and give some love and attention as needed. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I have a labrador retriever who gets along with other animals and a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor play. I keep a close eye on all pets, maintain their usual routines, and make sure they feel comfortable and loved. I prefer to host pets who know basic commands and can respect my dog and home.

“I'm a fur mama to two kitties and I love using DogVacay. It's always nice to find a host, like Michele, that doesn't mind checking in on other kinds of animals. I recently moved to Bridgewater and reached out to Michele, who responded so quickly and was more than willing to work around my schedule for a meet-and-greet. Instantly my hubby and I loved her and so did our babies! We had her check on our cats daily each morning for about a week. My instructions were followed to a T, we would receive texts frequently letting us know how they were doing, and she even paid them an extra visit just because she wanted to play with them! The cats really loved her and I look forward to booking her again when we go out of town. I would highly recommend Michele - she's kind, funny, and so sweet!”

“Nicole is so patient, understanding, & incredibly hard working!!! We’re so lucky to have found a dog sitter who takes the time & energy to really take care of the dogs! The dogs love her too!”

Pembroke cat parents share their Rover experiences
Heather was AWESOME! Our kitty’s had the best time with her and our shy kitty felt comfortable enough to befriend. Her attention to detail was awesome, and she gave them so much playtime and love! We will definitely be booking with Heather again in the future!

Entrusting a beloved pet to someone else’s care can be a daunting experience, filled with concern and apprehension. However, discovering Sam who is both compassionate and highly reliable transforms this process into one of ease and reassurance. I am delighted to share my overwhelmingly positive experience with Sam, whose dedication, attentiveness, and genuine affection for animals have truly enriched the lives of both myself and my girlfriend as well as our cherished companion Bentley. One of the aspects we most appreciated was the consistent and thoughtful communication Sam provided. Each day, I received detailed updates, including photographs and descriptions of our pet’s activities. These messages allowed my girlfriend and I to remain connected with Bentley afar and eased any anxiety we might have felt about being away.
