About: Hi,I’m Julia and just retired from my job of 31 years in a Dental office as an assistant.I was looking for something totally different to do with my free time now.I put 50 years because I’ve always been around animals since a young age.We had 2 beagles when I was growing up and after I married went on to have an English Setter,Doberman pinscher and later Chihuahua mix.I have also had cats.I just got done watching a coworkers 2 dogs on March 28th and now going to watch my nieces 3 cats for a week.Which had me think about doing this with others.They will be cared for with love to you get back.Julia I am retired and can be available with a day notice, for just days or overnight in your house.I would need to meet and greet beforehand. I will be watching pets in the clients house where it stays familiar for them.I will follow instructions given in taking care of your pet.

Feeding routines, medications, walk preferences, favorite toys, things that scare them, how they like to be greeted, whether they are allowed on the couch. I want to know all of it. I know these details are not “extra.” They are usually the things that make a pet feel secure. I’ll also send updates and photos, not just to say everything is fine, but so you can actually feel connected to them while you are away. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, may also help me sometimes, and you may see her in some of my photos. She has had pets since childhood and fostered animals for several years, so she is very used to different personalities, nervous pets, affectionate pets, and animals who need a little extra patience. She is calm, loving, and very responsible, and I trust her completely with animals. Between the two of us, your pet will be cared for by people who genuinely like being around animals, but who also understand that trust matters.
