As a dog parent that is very important but also comforting to know when leaving my dog with a sitter especially if it's overnight. Well I have already used their services twice and I'm very happy. Duke seems pretty happy too when he goes there as not only do they take good care of him but they also have 3 dogs so he has buddies to run around and play with. I highly recommend Melissa to any dog parent wanting to find a good, caring dogsitter to leave your pup with when you have to go somewhere for an extended period. I have had many pet dogs/cats thru my life ,the basic needs of them I can /will take care of .I have been around/learning about reptiles/avian/hoof-stock/exotics animals for 10 yrs. I worked as a animal educator/keeper at Reptacular Animals in 2015 to 2020. Eat,Sleep,Love pets,Clean pets,Feed pets . Usually check all my animals on a daily basis, Their quality of life is what matters to me the most . Some who know me would say my pets/others pets get more attention than oneself. Lol 😆. Most pets will be crated inside home , unless pets are eating/drinking-potty breaks. I can let pets out inside my home under my close supervision,if they are trained to do so. Pets will have potty breaks frequent every 1 hr or so , have plenty of playtime if allowed by owners.

I have veterinary experience, animal training, some grooming experience, feed, walk, excercises and etc. Animals seem to trust me quickly which is very important in the animal world along with patience and kindness. I have a 2 acre fenced property with 2 great danes that can keep your fur babies company but if needed I can kennel/crate any of the dogs or any pet comfortably indoors or outdoors. My mission is to allow your pet/pets to feel right at home. If your pet needs agility excercise I can provide that too. If they are laid back then we can do that too.

I have worked in many animal environments from the Santa Barbara Zoo as an assistant animal keeper, ranch hand for domestic and exotic animals, dog walker, manager of a kennel facility, and currently, daycare/board dogs in my home. I am a freelance videographer, photographer, and editor whose schedule is pretty open and flexible! I currently offer daycare and boarding at my home starting as early as 7:30 am. I provide pick-ups and drop-offs as well. Your fur friend will have 2.5 acres of full-fenced countryside living! Animals are allowed on furniture and are allowed in bed at night. I have plenty of toys, blankets, and dog beds. I also provide crates, if necessary.

About: I've had a sweet spot for animals all my life. I enjoy being around all animals and Im working towards being in Veterinary medicine ! Currently have 2 years Kennel Assistant experience at River Road Animal Hospital. Im available full time for your pup. I attend online school which allows me to be home majority if not all day!
