Usually my neighbors will feed my cats while I’m on trips, but one of my cats crossed the rainbow bridge recently, and it gave me such peace of mind that Meru was not alone and had ample sweet and caring company with Yuhong and her husband. Meru had never been away from our home so she (and I) was nervous at first, but warmed up to Yuhong quickly. Yuhong played with Meru twice a day to keep her spirits up. About: Animals are my entire life, I have had the privilege to grow up taking care of pets from the dogs I grew up with the cats and bunnies I would watch for extra pocket changes as a kid. Growing up taking care of pets has help me be the best option as a pet sitter, I have experience with puppies who are potty training to seniors in their last year. Kate provided updates every few days with some probing and lots of cute pictures of the kitties when asked. She was very accommodating with all the items I brought with my kitties to help with their care, and even went the extra mile to ensure they were separated during meal time so they wouldn't steal each other's food! Especially with my older cat, Flynn, as he tends to be a very hungry cat. Kate was also very accommodating with giving my younger cat Ryder her medications with her meals for kidney disease. About: I have cared for animals on my ranch in Acton, CA for over 30 years. I get along well with them because of the mutual trust and respect developed between us. I am adept at maintaining safe, clean living environments and noticing any problems which may crop up. Each enclosure on my ranch is basically a huge corral with shelter attached. Dogs can exercise themselves and seek shelter whenever they want. I am also able to keep them indoors provided they are housebroken and reasonably well behaved. I can give medications and provide personalized care as needed. Services provided include the following? -Lots of private space for each dog -Dedicated care plans for senior dogs or those needing medications -Large tree-abundant yards. No cages -Leash walk and play time -In-door stays available when dictated by the weather -Social activities with other dogs given they are compatible with each other -Regular photo updates and videos I'd love to meet you and your dog. Since I am retired, this means I can check in on your dogs boarded at my facility on a regular basis. My premises are double-fenced for the security of client dogs. Dogs have plenty of water, and I feed them according to owner specifications. Wading pools are provided in the summer, and there are adequate shelters for dogs to stay in out of the weather when they choose. Any extra exercise desired by the owner outside of the exercise dogs give themselves in the large enclosed areas are arranged for between the client and myself. I will be happy to give high energy dogs extra exercise by playing fetch with them a few times during the day. I will also spend time reassuring over-anxious dogs by just being with them.

“Eric did a wonderful job! We boarded our golden retriever at his house for a week and we’re so glad we chose him. He walked her everyday, has a beautiful yard, followed all of our instructions with regard to her health/care and he sent us daily updates about how she was doing and what she was up to. Personally, I’m glad I have someone I can reach out to who is local to care for our dog when we are out of the area. Thank you, Eric!”
“Yuhong took care of my kitty while I was on a long vacation. We met prior to ensure Meru could meet Yuhong and it was clear Meru was going to be in great hands. Usually my neighbors will feed my cats while I’m on trips, but one of my cats crossed the rainbow bridge recently, and it gave me such peace of mind that Meru was not alone and had ample sweet and caring company with Yuhong and her husband. Meru had never been away from our home so she (and I) was nervous at first, but warmed up to Yuhong quickly. Yuhong played with Meru twice a day to keep her spirits up. I’m grateful this worked out and to have found a wonderful sitter moving forward!”
“Wow! We are so happy with the care Melissa and Sebastian gave our Jaeger! They had him for a weekend and he got plenty of exercise, was fed well, and got plenty of attention. They also were so communicative and accommodating. We received multiple pictures and videos of him while we were away, which put us at ease. We will be back!”

“This was first time in 20 years of having dogs that we boarded and couldn’t have been happier and confident to have found Carole through Rover. We went on a 7 day road trip and never worried or had doubts about leaving our German Shepard, Luna, with Carole. We pre-visited her ranch a few weeks prior and had a feeling and no hesitation after the visit that we had made the right choice. Though this was our first time boarding, and with Carole, we now can plan other extended trips and know we have a great place to bring Luna without worry or feeling guilty for leaving her.”
“Frank was a very caring and conscientious sitter for my two dogs (one of whom is a senior). We did a meet and greet before hand so my elder dog could get the layout of the outdoor pool/patio. I was glad to receive photos/videos while I was gone and Frank took my dogs for a walk each day which gives them a taste of their routine. The dogs were well and happy upon pick up and not overly exhausted afterwards which let's me know that they were at ease during the stay.”
“Grace is a gem and a sweetheart! She took General in at the last minute. She asked all of the pertinent questions to ensure he was comfortable during his stay.
