About: I have taken care of dogs and various other pets my whole adult life. I believe trust is the most important thing when it comes to leaving your pets with a sitter and I can assure you I will treat your pets like I would my own, with love and respect. Your dog will be staying in a family style boarding situation, where they get the love and attention from myself, my husband and our 2 children (7 and 10) who adore helping out with all the pups. We have a large fenced in back yard for lots of supervised running, playing and sniffing! I am trained in obedience training and can provide puppy socialization. Please reach out to me with any questions or to schedule a meeting! Boarding is always available. I am available weekdays after 8:30 am - 3:30 pm for walks, drop ins, puppy socialization or obedience training. I am fully available on the weekends for boarding, walking, drop-ins, puppy socialization and obedience training. I have 3 extremely friendly small dogs for your fur baby to play with or relax with. I strive to make the dogs that stay here comfortable and as stress free as possible.

About: I've had dogs my entire life and am comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels. I previously worked at a dog kennel, where I gained experience with feeding, exercise, and providing a safe environment for pets. I also regularly dog sit and cat sit for friends and family, caring for their pets as if they were my own. I'm reliable and committed to making sure every pet feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you're away I decided not to work full time the summer before starting law school! So I have plenty to take care of animals and I am available on weekends too! I make sure to follow instructions thoroughly and prioritize safety for everyone in involved. For my home specifically, I have one dog who is very friendly and loves other dogs!

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life. I'm able to adapt to the normal routine of the pets that I'm sitting in order to make the process as smooth as possible. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.

“Gwynne is the best dog sitter we’ve ever had!!! We tried other rover sitters but no one is as dedicated, responsive and caring as her. My dogs Bubble and Molly got two long walks in the scenic neighborhood, rolling time in the beautiful yard (safely leashed!!), cuddling time with mini humans. The dogs and the kids cannot be more adorable. Bubble and Molly couldn’t be any happier! They fell asleep five minutes after we picked them up. I highly recommend Gwynne as a wonderful dog sitter.”

Andrea Is so flexible in the number of hours and changing schedules our dog can stay, she’s greatly improved my life and given me far more freedom than our dear but demanding dog’s constant need for socializing and play can provide, when I have to sit at my desk for long periods to work, or spend the day in NYC for many hours. We’re so grateful for Andrea’s daily smile, unruffled calm with the animals, and sense of responsibility. The assorted fur kids, with daily alternates, all seem to get along comfortably.
