“100% Recommend and I will be a repeat customer. If you need someone to watch your pet, you cannot go wrong with chosing Jamey C. Welcoming, friendly, and an excellent communicator, I felt incredibly confident that my dog would be taken excellent care of. She provided a walkthrough of the space, listened to my concerns, and answered all of my questions. I received daily updates and pictures of my beloved furry brat. What could have been an anxiety-inducing experience turned out to be a fantastic experience. Thank you, Jamey!”

“Her and David were so great while watching my two dogs for an entire week! They were kind, attentive, and met every needs of my dogs. The entire week I got plenty of cute update pictures. My dogs had a great time with them and I'd highly recommend them for any pet watching needs. My dogs will definitely be hanging out with them again!”

“Genella is amazing! She takes great care of my two big dogs. She was even able to give medication to my one dog that I always struggle giving meds too. She’s the best!”

“Norma was an absolutely wonderful caregiver to our dog! She immediately welcomed our dog into her home and was sure to review care instructions with us. She kept in touch with us and sent pictures of our dog regularly so we knew our dog was doing well. We were very impressed with Norma and grateful for her taking such wonderful care of our dog. Highly recommended!”

“So glad we boarded our dogs and cat with them. They were amazing sitters! They provided us with updates, including pictures and videos, which were greatly appreciated! We are so thankful for the care they provided, making our girls feel like part of their family. We will definitely choose them again if the need for sitters arises in the future!”

About: I have always had pets growing up. Animals are such sweet souls that can be so misunderstood. Let me love, and take care of your pet, while promising safety and health! I am currently staying at home with my daughter while my son is in school during the day! This is the perfect way for me to make some extra money while being able to still be a mom. I do not have any pets in my home so safety is my number one priority. I have a fenced backyard and am ready to play with your fur baby!
“Great experience. Overall great communication and flexibility for what we needed, and most important our little dachshund had a great time. He was definitely pampered. Very happy with the service that Amber provided.”

“Autumn was awesome with my babies, they were very happy and she provided pictures and updates daily so i knew how everything was going. I’m very happy with my decision in having her take care of them while i was away”

About: Can't wait to meet your fur family! I am a secretary at Lincoln elementary. I love caring for the students and I would love to care for your pets too! I have been a pet caretaker for as long as I can remember. From my Yorkshire Terrier, Tiffany Rene, my sweet beagle/lab mix Lucy, to my cats Bucket, Lemmy, and Pepper. Our gentle giant Betty (Irish wolf hound/poodle/terrier) went to the rainbow bridge. Now I have my one dilute tortoiseshell cat, Steel. We also have Bluey, a Texas blue heeler mix. My friends bring their pets around and everyone always gets along. I have a 19 and 17 year old (humans) who love animals too. So they can help out as well! I do look forward to meeting and caring for your furry family members! Pet care is always part of my routine. Taking care of my own pet needs and the needs of any other pet I am responsible for is an honor. I have a fenced in yard. Bluey is more of a go out and come in gal, but she would love to hang out and play. We go on walks &/or dog park.

About: What sets me apart is my experience and genuine love for animals. I have two family dogs of my own who live back home with my parents, and I’ve been dog sitting since I was 12. Being away from my dogs makes me miss having that animal love around, so I would truly enjoy giving your pets the same love, attention, and care I give my own! Pet care fits really well into my daily routine because my class schedule is pretty flexible and gives me plenty of time throughout the day. On Mondays, my class is from 6–9 PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30–11:30 AM, and Wednesdays from 12–1 PM. This leaves me available most mornings, afternoons, and evenings to give pets plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and care! I care for every pet as if they were my own and always make sure to follow the owner’s specific routine and instructions. In a client’s home, I make sure their pet feels comfortable by keeping up with their normal feeding schedule, walks, playtime, and any other care they need. I also love giving them plenty of attention and affection so they feel safe and loved while their owners are away!
About: I am a dependable and caring person who genuinely loves spending time with all types of animals. I love getting to know each dog’s unique personality, whether they’re energetic and ready for a long walk or happiest with some extra attention and belly rubs. During walks and drop-in visits, I’ll make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise, attention, and care while keeping their normal routine in mind. I want every visit to be something your dog looks forward to and for you to feel confident knowing they’re being well cared for while you’re away! As a college student at the University of Oklahoma, my schedule is fairly flexible, more so in the afternoons. I have classes mostly in the morning during the week, but I’m available for walks and drop-in visits in the afternoons and evenings. My weekends are also pretty open, with Saturday home football games being my only commitment. I have lots of flexibility to work around your pet’s routine. Since I’ll mainly be doing walks and drop-in visits, I’ll make sure I follow the instructions you leave for your pet and keep things as close to their normal routine as possible. I’ll pay attention to their behavior and surroundings while we’re out walking, and I’ll make sure they’re settled and comfortable before I leave. I’ll also be respectful of your home and make sure I leave things the way I found them. I’m happy to send a few pictures or updates during the visit so you know how things are going.

“Kalee and her husband were wonderful to our little dog. They sent us pictures to show how he was doing while we were on vacation. I was so grateful for the pictures since I wanted to know if he was doing ok and was he happy. Well, he was loving every minute of his stay with Kalee and Rashid. Thank you both for taking such good care of Higgins. Ginger and Mike Tinney”

“Amazing! I could tell Bruno had a lot of fun he slept the whole day when we picked him up. She had told us other dogs were there so I’m glad he wasn’t lonely and had friends to play with! But highly recommend! Fast responses and understanding”

About: My experience with pets stems from my childhood, when I was tasked with the responsibility to care for pets and neighborhood kids. Loving pets has been adopted as part of my nature; to share affection and attention with those that give their all to us. As I am currently working part-time, I am available to host and spoil your pet in a flexible manner. My partner also works from home so we are able to provide around the clock attention to your pup(s). We are able to board most of the time, and are always eager to expose our only son (dog) to new cousins. We are lucky in our humble home to offer a large spacious fenced in backyard that is very safe for your pets. Though it is important to note that there are steps leading to the front and backyard in case that is something your pet may need extra accessibility to. We are also lucky to live in a central area of downtown that is very pet friendly with walkable parks and trails nearby, and even dog friendly bars that are familiar with our dog-centered family. In the case that I were to visit your home, I have experience working as a home visitor in parenting support programs, and as always, honor the trust you share in allowing me in your space. I take that very seriously, and will treat your home as sacred as I treat your pets: with respect.
“Second time using Natacha and she was very accommodating when I put in the wrong dates and when unforeseen circumstances ended the trip short. Couldn’t recommend more. She and her family are great and my puppy loves to visit”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Payne home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Payne.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Payne sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
