“Ginger had great time staying with Patricio again. He and his wife took great care of her and she was happy, relaxed and tired once we got her home. Looking forward to her next stay there!”

“Kevin and Delinda provided wonderful peace of mind while caring for Olivia. They sent frequent pictures and updates throughout the day, which made it so easy to know she was happy and well cared for. Olivia received plenty of walks, attention, and love during her stay. It’s clear they genuinely care about the pets they watch, and I wouldn’t hesitate to trust them with Olivia again. Highly recommend! 🐾❤️”

“Sherri sent lots of photos of our golden having the best time with her pups and went out of her way to trim him “grinch paws” without us asking. We will definitely be sending our golden to her next time we are out of town!”

About: I have always had pets growing up. Animals are such sweet souls that can be so misunderstood. Let me love, and take care of your pet, while promising safety and health! I am currently staying at home with my daughter while my son is in school during the day! This is the perfect way for me to make some extra money while being able to still be a mom. I do not have any pets in my home so safety is my number one priority. I have a fenced backyard and am ready to play with your fur baby!

“Regina and Ted took good care of Bunny. Videos they sent me showed her playing happily with other dogs. She seemed to fit right in. I know where to take my baby when I need to! I’m so glad to have found them!”

“Scott and his family were fantastic hosts to our three boys during their weeklong stay. They had great communication, sent photos, and learned the different personalities of our dogs. We will definitely be guests again!”

“Great communication. My two pups were well taken care of and in a great mood when dropping off and picking up. A safe environment that we will definitely be using again!”

“Chris was fantastic with our girl!! She was so patient and let her adjust to being in a new place. She sent daily updates with pics and videos. I knew our girl was being treated like the queen she is! Highly recommend and will definitely book again! Wonderful experience!!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life and enjoy being in their company. I have a 70 pound Stafford Shire Terrier that is friendly with people and other dogs and cats. Pics can be sent as often as requested. If your pet seems bored with just a walk, then we will definitely go for a cruise or hike. I am also certified in Cat and Dog first aid through Redcross. I’m active duty military so I only do check-ins/walks before and after work, during weekends/4day weekends. I will do my best to make sure you pet feels safe around me and has fun. I play with the pets in the back yard to ensure they are being active and not lounging all day, or take them to a dog park or hiking trail if it is ok with owner.
“I could not have asked for a better experience with a sitter. From initial request to pick up she was amazing and cared for our pup with great care and love. Our dog had a skin issue with our collar that i hadnt caught and she did, then helped it heal up while she was at the stay. I cannot reccomend Tiffany enough”

About: Can't wait to meet your fur family! I am a secretary at Lincoln elementary. I love caring for the students and I would love to care for your pets too! I have been a pet caretaker for as long as I can remember. From my Yorkshire Terrier, Tiffany Rene, my sweet beagle/lab mix Lucy, to my cats Bucket, Lemmy, and Pepper. Our gentle giant Betty (Irish wolf hound/poodle/terrier) went to the rainbow bridge. Now I have my one dilute tortoiseshell cat, Steel. We also have Bluey, a Texas blue heeler mix. My friends bring their pets around and everyone always gets along. I have a 19 and 17 year old (humans) who love animals too. So they can help out as well! I do look forward to meeting and caring for your furry family members! Pet care is always part of my routine. Taking care of my own pet needs and the needs of any other pet I am responsible for is an honor. I have a fenced in yard. Bluey is more of a go out and come in gal, but she would love to hang out and play. We go on walks &/or dog park.

“Isabella took great care of my elderly pups while I had to leave town for 2 weeks. It was the longest amount of time I've been away from my fur babies, but Isabella made it better than I could have imagined. She sent me pictures and updates. Knowing my pups were with someone who loves dogs and has dogs of her own for them to play with, gave me peace of mind for the longer-than-usual absence. I highly recommend Isabella!”

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
97% of sitters in Criner can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Criner home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Criner.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
You and your Criner sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
