About: I was raised with dogs large and small, their fluffy faces have always brought me a smile. I have experience with dogs that are deaf, my own Hope has been deaf all her life, and love to get them outside safely to explore! I am a stay-at-home mom, so my schedule is very flexible. I understand that some people have wacky schedules, and I love to be able to help with their fur babies when agendas get tight. I am happy to visit your pup for feedings, walks and quality time if you are away. Our fence is under construction, so until then I unfortunately cannot host at my home.
About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals. I enjoy being around both dogs and cats, and I want every pet in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I may not have formal training, but I’m patient, attentive, and willing to learn each pet’s unique personality and needs. I treat every animal with kindness and care, just as I would my own. 🐾 I work during the weekdays, but I’m available on weekends and would love to spend my free time caring for pets while earning a little extra money. I love being around both dogs and cats, so pet sitting feels like a fun and rewarding way to spend my time. I’m happy to work with pet owners to find a schedule that fits their pets’ needs and make sure they feel loved and cared for while their owners are away! I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment. I follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special routines. I also make sure they have fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of attention and affection. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I’m happy to be patient and learn what makes each one feel at home. My goal is to give owners peace of mind knowing their pets are in caring hands! 🐾❤️
About: I grew up in a dog grooming shop, as well as on a farm. I have taken extensive behavioral courses as well as pet cpr courses. Whatever pet you may have, I can almost guarantee I’ve had experience with! From dogs and cats, to reptiles and birds, as well as many livestock, I’ve got you covered! Big and small, I love them all! So if experience is what you’re searching for, I’ll be happy to get your “paw” of approval. I work a full time job in the automotive industry to advance my career, but cannot forget where I came from. I love animals, and couldn’t see myself not working with them. 8 AM-5 PM I work my day job, and typically do stop ins before my shift, right after, and a third time in the late evening, but will soon have the opportunity to be more flexible! Safety is my number one concern, as most pet parents. Doors are ALWAYS shut and double checked, fences are always checked as well. I have never ever had an accident occur on my watch, and don’t plan on it happening any time soon.
About: With over 5 years of hands-on veterinary experience, I offer expert-level pet care you can trust. From playful pups to senior pets with special needs, I provide compassionate, knowledgeable care tailored to each animal’s unique personality and health. Whether it's medication administration, gentle handling, or simply lots of love and attention, your pet is in skilled, caring hands. Working two full days and one half day at a veterinary clinic gives me the perfect balance—plenty of time during the week to offer reliable, attentive pet care, while staying closely connected to animal health and well-being. It’s a win-win: I get to do what I love both at the clinic and with your pets! When caring for a pet in their home, I stick closely to their routine—meals, walks, meds, playtime—so they feel safe, relaxed, and loved. I bring a calm, caring presence, and a few extra belly rubs never hurt either!
“She did such a great job checking in on my cats! I could tell they were well cared for and comfortable while I was away, which gave me so much peace of mind. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly loves animals. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Cassidy watched my two cats for 2 weeks while I was away, and they enjoyed it so much that I think they missed her more than me!! I loved all the pictures she sent, and it was so nice knowing that they were being played with and having fun! She was so diligent and always kept me updated about everything. I had full faith that she could handle anything, and it was wonderful having the peace of mind that I didn’t need to worry about them at all. I came back home to clean waters, litter, house, and happy and brushed puddy cats :) I would for sure ask Cassidy to watch my boys again!”

About: I currently have a 12 year old Lab/mix dog, he is super sweet and loves attention. He is very friendly and no problems so far with other dogs. I have worked with a dog groomer before and would help out when needed. I can bathe your pooch anytime. I have had pets with separation anxiety before as well. I had an austrailian shepard growing up and she had separation anxiety bad, It wasn't easy but we were able to get her to not tear up the house anymore. If you have a pet that deals with separation anxiety then I would love to watch your pet for you. I work full time in Jupiter, FL during the week so weekends would be the only time I have available. I look forward to working with your pet(s). What do you say? Are you ready to let your pet have a wonderful time while you go out for a night and have some time to yourself? If so, I am your gal. I look forward to this adventure! I would be available most weekends to do drop in visits and possibly staying at your home if need be. Just let me know what you need and I will see if I can work it out. I have a fenced yard and have a dog who would love having a friend over sometimes. He gets along with every dog he comes into contact with.

About: I've been fostering and taking care of animals of all shapes and sizes my entire life. I know what it's like to be worried about your pet I personally have a dog with separation anxiety and understand the struggle. Let me help your pet stay calm and happy while you enjoy time away. I love animals and taking care of them is truly my passion. I do online school leaving me plenty of time to play with your furry family. About: I love animals. I have owned and operated a Children and family portrait studio for over 15 years. Dogs are like kids to me. They are innocent and kind and deserve love and attention. I have time to offer your baby the love and attention it deserves when you're not around! I was raised on a farm in North Texas where we took care of many animals. I knew from a young age up the importance of taking care of animals properly. I find dogs to be such amazing animals seeing their pack instincts make them yearn to be with people and protect them. I love the affection they offer with no hidden rules. I offer the same love and affection to them because they deserve it. Hi! I’m new to the Phoenix area but not new to caring for pets and homes. I’ve been a trusted sitter for years, including several long-term house and pet sitting gigs in the U.S. Virgin Islands (St. Thomas) and Puerto Rico. Whether it’s dogs, cats, chickens, or something a little more exotic, I’ve probably cared for it — and loved every minute of it. I’m super clean, respectful, and calm — I work from home or remotely when I can, so your pets get attention and your home stays safe. I’m also a total plant nerd and take pride in keeping your green babies alive and thriving while you’re away. If you’re looking for someone who truly connects with animals, treats your home like a sanctuary, and communicates well while you’re gone, let’s set up a meet & greet! I only care for pets in their own home — where they’re most relaxed, happy, and safe. I follow their routine closely, whether that’s long walks, playtime, or just being a calm, loving presence. I’m super clean, great with plants, and treat your space with total respect. I want your pets to feel like they’re just on vacation at home until you walk back through the door.

About: I have had dogs for as long as I can remember and love all dogs and all their unique personalties. I love going on walk and just playing outside. I am in college, but have plenty of time to take care of pets with my flexible schedule. I have a dog of my own at home and do not struggle at all to meet his needs. I have a pet of my own, but my lease does not allow any other pets to be in the house. So I will not be able to board dogs at my personal house.
“Olivia did a great job watching our 3 cats while we were gone for a week. She gave very detailed updates and plenty of pictures. Our cats got lots of play time with Olivia and even a treat each day. She was very caring and attentive, letting us know when one of our cats had a hairball and when an animal was getting into our outdoor plants. We will definitely be booking with Olivia again next time we need someone to watch our cats!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
