About: I've always had dogs. I have a deep affection for dogs, and the clients I've had seem to be quite satisfied with the level of care we provide. We are also close to the beach and can take your beloved on walks on the beach! I'm retired, so I'm available almost all of the time. I do dog-walking, or pet-sitting at folks homes, or have their dogs stay at my house. I have good references. I have a fenced in yard, with plenty of room for dogs to frolic around. I also live in a very nice neighborhood with a beautiful dog park just seconds from my home.

“Jenn was a wonderful sitter. It was our first time using Rover so we werent sure what to expect. Our normally sheepish dog who normally needs time to warm up to people immediately responded to Jenn. She could sense we believe Jenn was a good dog person. She was on time and was wonderful to our dog. We are looking forward to using Jenn again in the future!”

About: Hi, I am a mom to two fur babies! Ever since I can remember I have recused any animal that needed help. I am very patient with animals. I have experience in medication administration. My full time job of being a Firefighter/Paramedic can sometimes be stressful, and pets are the best therapy! I have a set schedule and can work around it, making it easy for you! I have a shepard who is very sweet and gentle. He is house trained and loves people and other pets. We go for walks and trips.
About: What sets me apart is a lifetime of 'dog-first' thinking. I don't just see a walk as exercise; I see it as the highlight of your dog's day. Whether it’s navigating the boundless energy of a new puppy or providing the extra patience and care a senior dog deserves, I treat every pet with the same intuition and attention I’ve given my own dogs for decades. My daily routine is built around pet care! Since I work a part-time job in the evenings, my entire day is open to focus on your dog's needs. I typically start my visits in the morning and am fully available through the mid-afternoon for long walks, play sessions, and feedings. Because I don't have a traditional 9-to-5, I can provide consistent, unhurried attention during the hours your pet is most likely to be home alone. Because I specialize exclusively in Drop-Ins and Walks, my focus is entirely on providing high-quality care within the comfort of your dog's own environment. Safety First: I ensure your home remains secure and that your dog is safely leashed before we step outside. I’m also diligent about checking that water bowls are full and fresh before I leave. Personalized Walks: I follow your preferred routes and training cues to keep your dog’s routine consistent. Whether they need a high-energy brisk walk or a slow 'sniffari' for mental stimulation, I move at their pace. Quality Time: During drop-ins, I prioritize one-on-one engagement—whether that’s a game of fetch in the yard or belly rubs. Clean & Tidy: I make sure paws are wiped on messy days and always send a detailed update with photos so you know exactly how the visit went!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
