“Andie and her husband Mike took SUCH loving care of my GSD puppy. Andie is a great communicator, responding quickly to questions and sending updates and pictures. I trust her wholeheartedly and am so glad to have found her.”

“Maddie was amazing with our boy Banks. Hey did Grainger was a great bud for Banks to play with. Maddie provided restart updates and videos so we didn't have to worry about how things were going. Highly recommend!!!”

“Mari was awesome! She sent updates of my dogs daily with pictures. She was also super accommodating when our flight was cancelled and we needed the dogs to stay with her an extra day. Took them on plenty of walks; I could tell my pups had a great time! Would definitely rebook with her in the future :)”

“Lori C. is an absolute treasure. She took such great care of Aksel even providing him with a pup cup. He was at ease and very comfortable under Lori's care. Aksel had warmed up to her and had responded to her, running to her as he does with us. She is kind and responsive and definitely an animal lover. We would whole heartedly trust Lori C. with Aksel. Having him stay in sitter's home is 100% preferable than leaving him with a pet boarding place since he has one on one care and loving attention from a trained sitter. We would highly recommend Lori C. and would arrange any future plans with her again. It felt like we were leaving Aksel with a trusted family member.”

“Nicole was so kind and attentive to our Sophie. She kept us in the loop on how Sophie was doing, with pictures and messages. This was the first time we have tried an online kennel scheduling, and Nicole gave us stellar service. We will be using her again soon! Thank you Nicole for taking care of our girl.”

“While vacationing in Myrtle Beach I stayed in a motel that did not allow pets so needed to find d inoggy day care near me. My dog is a 60 lb wire haired griffon, sweet natured, but needs her walks every day. Oceana provided loving care to my spoiled baby- took her for long walks, followed my feeding and care instructions, and lots of snuggles on the couch. I was more than satisfied with her care and would recommend her.”

“Jenn was an excellent choice for my dog Nalu. She quickly replied when I desperately needed care for my dog since I just recently moved to SC. Nalu doesn't quickly adjust to new people/places, but with Jenn she let her pet her and walk her from our 1st meet and greet. Jenn kept Nalu happy, exercised and well taken care of during my vacation. She always sent updates, pictures and videos to me of my dog enjoying her time with Jenn. I would highly recommend her and I'm sure Nalu will be happy to visit and stay with her again.”

“Caitlin and her family were AMAZING!! I was very nervous as this was our first time going out of town with our Zen and also having him stay with a sitter. Caitlin was very responsive and answered all of my questions She was flexible when our arrival time was pushed back and allowed us to pick him up during our stay to spend time with him. It was clear that he was loved on while he was with them!! I would 190% recommend Caitlin and we plan to book with her again!!”

“Jacklyn did an amazing job with Harry. Harry went for long walks and played outside a ton. She sent photos everyday of our boy having fun. She was super quick and friendly when communicating, and she even accommodated an extra night. We used Jacklyn for our pup during a visit to Myrtle Beach. It worked out wonderfully! We’d definitely book with Jacklyn again. Highly recommend!”

“Foxy loved staying there, and I loved her staying there she was treated great, and she actually wasn’t sure if you wanted to come back home, so awesome job, Amanda”

About: I board 5 different dogs frequently and each one has returned again and again. I've owned dogs, and all sorts of animals, all of my life, volunteered & was trained at the Arlington Animal Welfare League & enjoy the flexibility & variety of boarding dogs. I have a side yard as well as a court yard with garden areas & closed in paths behind my townhouse for walks. I tend to spoil the dogs with affection, allowing them on the furniture but will always follow whatever rules the owners prefer be minded. Every dog I've boarded comes back with tails wagging, racing for the door and their owners know their dogs are very happy here. I've cared for dogs who return for over 4 years! Pick me! I'm currently working part time from home, so I have plenty of time for your pup! I do not currently have any pets of my own. I have a small fenced in grass area for your pup to play, get sunshine, and potty needs. I treat every pup as if they were one of my own!
“My pup, Magnus, loved staying with Mary! Magnus also made a friend with Mary’s pup. Magnus is now home and sleeping soundly from having such a good time. Magnus can’t wait to go back :) Would definitely recommend Mary!”

“The absolute best! From the moment we met her, I felt completely comfortable leaving Billie in her care. She is incredibly personable, caring, and attentive. Billie came home happy, exhausted from all the fun, and clearly showered with love and attention. She also had a great time playing with her adorable pup! We couldn’t be happier with the experience and can’t wait to book again. Highly recommend!”

“Craig was great!!! Quick responses, easy drop off and pick up, and sent us regular pupdates while we were on vacation 😊 Thank you so much again, and we'll be in touch next time we're going out of town!!”

“We had a fantastic experience with Jeffrey! Our Birdie had a great time. She had lots of walks, play time, and snuggles. We appreciated the updates and pictures while we were away! Many thanks to Jeffrey and his family for the great care for our pup!”

Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
