About: Hi! I’m an animal lover with a lifetime of experience caring for pets. I’ve had my cat for 16 years and my dog for 8 years, and I also have around 4 years of overnight pet-sitting experience. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight stays in your pet’s home. I also have experience administering medication to my own pets and understand the importance of following their care routines. I know how important it is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m happy to give them attention, playtime, walks, and plenty of affection! However, my schedule is pretty open, especially in the mornings and afternoons. I respect each home and follow the owner’s instructions carefully to ensure their pets receive consistent, dependable care. I make sure pets have fresh water, a clean environment, and plenty of attention based on their individual needs and personalities. I also take safety seriously by keeping dogs leashed during walks, making sure doors and gates are secure, and monitoring pets throughout my visits. When walking dogs, I stay aware of my surroundings and keep them secure. About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for over 15 years, and caring for them is truly my passion! I have extensive experience caring for all types of animals, from newborn puppies and kittens to senior pets who need extra patience, specialized attention, and medication. I spent several years working at PetSmart in the grooming salon, where I cared for dogs and helped ensure they were comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I also volunteered for six years at an animal shelter in Prattville, Alabama, where I bathed animals, provided daily care, and gave them as much love and attention as possible. Every animal deserves kindness, compassion, and a safe place to feel loved. My experience with senior dogs is especially extensive. I currently care for a 13 year old Dachshund who uses a wheelchair for mobility and experiences seizures that require medication. This experience has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, close observation, and understanding each pet’s individual needs. I’m also a proud dog mom to seven wonderful dogs of my own: Bruno and Zarra, Great Pyrenees and Blue Heeler mixes; Chewie, a Pomchi; Ottie and Steel, Chihuahuas; Brody, a Golden Retriever and Pit Bull mix; and Rizzo, a German Shepherd. Having a diverse pack of my own has given me even more hands on experience with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. When your pets are in my care, I treat them like family not just another booking. I understand that your pets are precious members of your household, and trusting someone with them is a big deal. My goal is to make sure you feel confident and comfortable knowing your fur babies are receiving the same love, attention, and compassion I give my own. I have multiple pups from old to young and many different breeds so I am very knowledgeable about all ages and multiple breeds! I have a large yard for their running and enjoyment! About: I have been pet sitting for a couple of years now, and I would say it’s one of my favorite things to do. Most of my gigs have consisted of overnight stays for usually about a week at a time or more. I have done mostly multi pet households, with both cats, dogs, and other exotic animals. I’ll even feed your chickens! I just love animals and pet sitting is one of my favorite hobbies. I’m new to the Rover app, but I am not new to pet sitting. I am currently getting my associates in early care and education while also working at a school. I’m only taking one night class so my days are pretty free for pet sitting! I only do work in clients homes, but I have experience putting dogs in crates or “pet proofing“ the house before I leave. I’m also very capable of giving medication to any animals that would need them and have a very watchful eye when I am at a clients house.
