About: I have been pet sitting for a couple of years now, and I would say it’s one of my favorite things to do. Most of my gigs have consisted of overnight stays for usually about a week at a time or more. I have done mostly multi pet households, with both cats, dogs, and other exotic animals. I’ll even feed your chickens! I just love animals and pet sitting is one of my favorite hobbies. I’m new to the Rover app, but I am not new to pet sitting. I am currently getting my associates in early care and education while also working at a school. I’m only taking one night class so my days are pretty free for pet sitting! I only do work in clients homes, but I have experience putting dogs in crates or “pet proofing“ the house before I leave. I’m also very capable of giving medication to any animals that would need them and have a very watchful eye when I am at a clients house.

“Danielle was extremely helpful and was fast to assist with an emergency dog walker that I needed. She was very fast to respond and kept me updated with pictures and texts as she walked my dog Franklin. I definitely will be contacting her again and will be a returning customer! Highly recommend Danielle as a sitter!”

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for over 15 years, and caring for them is truly my passion! I have extensive experience caring for all types of animals, from newborn puppies and kittens to senior pets who need extra patience, specialized attention, and medication. I spent several years working at PetSmart in the grooming salon, where I cared for dogs and helped ensure they were comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I also volunteered for six years at an animal shelter in Prattville, Alabama, where I bathed animals, provided daily care, and gave them as much love and attention as possible. Every animal deserves kindness, compassion, and a safe place to feel loved. My experience with senior dogs is especially extensive. I currently care for a 13 year old Dachshund who uses a wheelchair for mobility and experiences seizures that require medication. This experience has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, close observation, and understanding each pet’s individual needs. I’m also a proud dog mom to seven wonderful dogs of my own: Bruno and Zarra, Great Pyrenees and Blue Heeler mixes; Chewie, a Pomchi; Ottie and Steel, Chihuahuas; Brody, a Golden Retriever and Pit Bull mix; and Rizzo, a German Shepherd. Having a diverse pack of my own has given me even more hands on experience with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. When your pets are in my care, I treat them like family not just another booking. I understand that your pets are precious members of your household, and trusting someone with them is a big deal. My goal is to make sure you feel confident and comfortable knowing your fur babies are receiving the same love, attention, and compassion I give my own. Whether your pet is a playful puppy, a curious kitten, an energetic adult, or a senior companion who needs extra care, I am here to help! I believe every animal deserves to feel safe, happy, comfortable, and loved. 🐶🐱❤️

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
