“We were very upfront with Marsha that our rescue dog can be slightly aggressive and does not like strangers—we had almost given up on finding a sitter. Although Marsha never rushed the process, always listened to our concerns, and used techniques that helped our pup build trust slowly. She’s a great communicator with lots of messages, pictures and video. It was so nice to be away and not feel concerned. She’s a great sitter for anxious pups!”

“Jennifer was a fun, attentive, affectionate and responsible caregiver for my 7 month old kitten. She played with her a lot, fed her and cleaned out her litter regularly, and sent me lots of pictures and messages updating me on my kitten’s days. She also went above and beyond on cleaning my house and laundering the linens before I got home. Totally unnecessary, but very much appreciated. I would highly recommend her services.”

“Ashley was incredible! We needed help at the last minute as we were heading out of the country and Ashley happily stepped in and treated our pup like a queen.”

“Nicki watched our two dogs and cat. She was flexible on her last day when I asked if she could stay a little later than originally discussed. She followed our instructions and when we came back our house was very clean, which is always greatly appreciated!”
“Skye is a wonderful pet sitter! I had to leave town for a family funeral and she made everything so much easier to manage. I came home to two very happy pets (our dog Sammy and kitten Sage) and a clean house! Skye checked in often and sent pictures while I was away. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter that goes above and beyond!”

“Jen house sat and watched our two cats while we were on vacation for a week. She took great care of our cats and kept in touch with photos and updates, which gave us confidence while we were far away from home. We will rebook Jen again and recommend her to anyone needing their pets cared for.”

“Niara is amazing with my dog (100 lb lab mix) and has been a repeat booking for long weekends when I’m out of town. Niara always sends photos and videos of my dog while I’m gone and makes me feel very secure that my dog is in good hands. Can’t recommend her services enough!!”

“She’s great!! Came over last minute to watch our Frenchie. Very responsive and left the house just like she found it. Sent us pics of the little fur baby and kept us up to speed on everything. Love her!”

“This was our first time working with Cara and we are so grateful to have had her assistance while we were away for a week. She stayed at our home with our 2 cats and she did a stellar job. She has a calming presence, is a great communicator, prompt. and follows directions well. She bonded with both cats, which was a huge relief for our family. We felt a level of calm knowing our fur babies were being well cared for. Thanks Cara!”

“Lauren is an amazing dog sitter that obviously cares about every dog she has. She was very loving, attentive, and perfect with my dog. Lots of pictures which I loved and lots of communication. Left my house clean and no hiccups!”
“We hired Meghan to watch our pets in our home. She was a respectful guest and took wonderful care of our pets! She went above and beyond working with us to reschedule our travel plans due to inclement weather. She provided excellent communication, with lots of updates and pictures of how our pets were doing. We would recommend her to anyone and would love to work with her again. Thanks Meghan!”

“Allison was amazing. Willing to meet before we left town, sent us a picture every day, was flexible when we needed her to come earlier than originally planned, and left our house cleaner than she found it! We will definitely use her services again in the future.”
About: I have been trusted as a caregiver for dogs of all sizes & needs since I was a little girl. I grew up with multiple dogs in the home and as an adult I have raised both Rottweilers and Pitbulls of my own, as well as fostered several dogs with behavioral issues that have since been adopted. I have studied a lot on how to manage dogs with behavioral issues and my friends and family often bring their dogs to stay with me just so I can help train them. I promise to provide a stable and safe environment where your dog will thrive & you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I work mostly from home so my schedule is flexible and I’ll be able to accommodate what your dog needs. My pit bull has been spoiled with visits to parks and hiking almost every day for the last 4 years since adopting him & I treat every dog in my care as my own. I have a fenced in yard and a very friendly pitbull that loves to run & play. It’s a pretty decent sized yard, and I also live in close proximity to the Katy trail which makes it easy to take them on walks as well. My dog doesn’t stay in a cage, so he will be there to keep yours company anytime I’m away, but I will accommodate your dogs needs however is necessary as well.
Patch pet parents share their Rover experiences
Gabrielle got to know Poppy during a few walks last week and so I felt very comfortable leaving Poppy with Gabrielle during our first extended time away. Gabrielle was attentive to all Poppy's needs, took her for several long walks each day and provided great care. We were able to enjoy our trip knowing that Poppy was in good hands. Thanks, Gabrielle!

Once again, Ashley came through at the last minute AND went above and beyond. Her communication is great, love seeing so many photos, and she took great care of our pup and our home. Even asking if we needed the trash taken out to the curb because we’d completely forgotten. Can’t say enough good things about Ashley!

Maeve was absolutely wonderful and I felt so comfortable letting her stay the night at my house with my dog, Sally! She was super communicative and even though she only stayed one night, she sent tons of photo updates, which I appreciated. Would definitely have her house/dog sit for me again!
