“Laura was such an amazing host with watching my dog Aspen for a few days while I was out of town. It’s hard to find a sitter but Laura didn’t hesitate to take my dog in, I got tons of videos/pictures of my dog and updates as well! Such a wonderful experience and I’ll be sure to book with her again!”

“I was so pleased with Jennifer, Sharon& Scott! I had to go out of town for a week and 2 of my cats need to be given medicine. They were able to take care of that, and they sent me twice daily detailed notes and videos and pics. It made it so much easier to be away from my kitties. I will definitely use their services again!”

“Sarah and the service she offered was awesome! Sarah made sure to communicate, send daily photos, and asked questions to better serve my fur baby 🐶❤️ If needed, I will definitely book Sarah again!”

“Great service! My dog Pompeii was well taken care of. He had loads of fun and was very active while being taken care of while I was out of town for my daughter's wedding. Great communication along with photo updates during his stay. Highly recommended!”

“Tilly was so loved and cared for, I wasn't sure she'd want to come back home with me! I was so appreciative of the communication with updated photos and videos; I'm also grated for helps with behavior modifications since my dog is a foster and still learning the ropes. Highly recommended!”

“Mary was amazing with our tiny puppy! He is a handful and has a lot of energy but Mary was patient and took good care of him. Would recommend her to any dog owner!”

“Our girl was very well taken care of and we got multiple sets of photos each day. All of her medication and treats were properly administered and she came back looking just as good as when she left.”

“Lucy was fantastic with Koda! He's a high-energy adolescent shepherd mix, so I'm always grateful when I find someone who really understands dogs and is thoughtful about introductions, play, and group dynamics. She sent updates and videos throughout the weekend, which I appreciated so much, and it was clear that Koda was having an absolute blast. He came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. As a dog sitter myself, I can be a little picky about who I leave my dog with, and I would not hesitate to book with Lucy again. Highly recommend!”

“Archie had a fantastic time at Kelsey’s! He’s a Frenchie so he fit right in with Kelsey’s dogs and was one of the pack. He had a ton of play time and cuddle time and didn’t want to leave! I would gladly have Kelsey care for Archie again.”

“Adolfo was great!! Our pup loved her 5-night stay with Adolfo and his dogs. He was easy to communicate with and sent many pictures. He responded quickly and was flexible when we adjusted our dates. We will definitely use him again!”

“Elizabeth was great! She sent regular updates with pictures and I felt very comfortable with my dog in her care. Would recommend and use again!”

“Ben took excellent care of my dog, Willa, during her four-night stay at his home. From the moment she arrived, she was instantly comfortable with him. He sent daily photo updates, showing Willa happy, relaxed, and enjoying her time. I especially appreciated that he allowed her on the furniture and even let her sleep in his bed, which made her feel right at home. Beyond being a great sitter, Ben is super chill and easy to get along with, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. It’s clear he truly cares for the dogs he watches, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again!”

“Teddi had the best time ever with Sarah! Sarah gave me daily updates and all the pictures I wanted. She was a great communicator from the start. Teddi already can’t wait to go back. Thanks, Sarah!”

“Sonja was so accommodating. She was very flexible, helpful and patient. I liked that she offered a meet and greet, provided photos and updates. I could tell my Lady enjoyed her stay.”

About: As a High School Science Teacher and a dedicated father, I bring a level of care to pet sitting that is grounded in responsibility, observation, and routine. I understand that your pets are family, and they deserve a sitter who is as invested in their well-being as you are. I live in a quiet South City home (63111) featuring a fully fenced-in backyard. This offers your pups a secure, private environment where they can run, play, and explore safely—a rare find in many parts of the city! While I am currently a "cat dad" to my 8-year-old resident cat, I have been a lifelong dog owner. From my earliest childhood memories until earlier this year, dogs have always been a central part of my home and heart. This lifelong experience means I am deeply familiar with canine behavior, exercise needs, and the unique companionship they provide. I am an expert at managed, slow introductions to ensure that my senior cat and your pups coexist peacefully and safely. Daily Care: As a high school science teacher, I am currently on summer break and have transitioned into "full-time pet care" mode! My schedule is wide open from late May through mid-August, meaning I am home throughout the day to provide frequent potty breaks, backyard playtime, and plenty of companionship. Weekly Availability: I offer a rotating schedule for boarding. My calendar is always kept up-to-date, so you can easily see which days I am open for overnight stays or daycare only. Consistency: Because I am not balancing an office job during the summer, I can strictly adhere to whatever feeding, medication, or exercise schedule your pet requires. I pay close attention to details—from a dog’s body language and energy levels to their specific feeding and medication schedules. My goal is to create a predictable, low-stress environment where your pet feels like a member of the family. I have a fully (6 foot tall) fenced-in backyard where dogs can play safely. I always supervise yard time to ensure no "great escapes" or unwanted digging. I also always clean up after bathroom breaks in my yard. I use baby gates and separate "safe zones" to ensure my cat and your pups coexist peacefully. I worked for a vet clinic many years ago but still remember some emergency techniques. I can send daily photos and keep your vet's information at hand. It's also good for me to know more about your pet as in: Does your pet have any "triggers" (squirrels, mailmen, other dogs)? Are there any "off-limits" pieces of furniture or rooms? What is their favorite way to be comforted if they get homesick? Etc.

“I have a 10-year-old beagle (Maggie) and she is always stayed with family in the past when I went out of town. This past weekend was our wedding and so family is on able to watch the dog. We first had a visit early in the week with Ruthie and she immediately called any concerns I had with leaving my dog with her. That says a lot :-) Ruthie sent us photos of Maggie multiple times during the weekend to keep us updated on how she was doing and it meant a lot to my wife and I to know Maggie was in good hands on our big day. Ruthie is in a great location with a park nearby as well as a nice neighborhood to walk in and Maggie truly enjoyed her stay. I would highly recommend Ruthie to you if you were looking at this post and wondering who you can trust with your puppy!”

“Reba treated our dog like her own. She sent frequent updates and you could tell the care she was providing is top notch. We are so glad we have found her to take care of our pup! She had an absolute blast and cannot wait to go back for more play time!”

“Kaity did a great job taking care of my two kitties. It was wonderful coming home to happy cats with no worries. All instructions were followed and she even went above and beyond by bringing in 2 heavy boxes for me. Will definitely use again if/when I need. Thanks Kaity!”

“Brooke was wonderful! She took great care of our cat while we were gone for a week. I really appreciated her daily updates and she was very responsive. We will definitely use her again next time!”

“Took amazing care of my cat Purrba while out of town for a couple weeks. Great having daily updates with photos to know he was in such good hands! Highly recommend Stephen!”

“Hannah was great!! Super responsive when we needed a sitter last minute and great about keeping us updated along the way! Would absolutely book again!”

“Nicki did everything I requested and my babies were taken very good care of. She updated me when she was on her way over and took pictures. She gave both of my cats attention and one of them can be rather difficult.”

About: I have had a cat for most of my life and have cared for family and friends cats as well. It was my job to provide enrichment for the cats at the apa as well as clean up their area and feed them. I love cats and am happy and confident that I can care for them!

“Abby was fantastic! Very responsive from the beginning all the way through and sent lots of photos showing my happy kitty, which allowed me to enjoy my long trip with peace of mind knowing my fur baby was getting some TLC.”

“Emily worked with me as my cat got a surprise diagnosis right before the sitting dates. 10/10 I can't recommend Emily enough for being flexible and caring towards Teddy and his brand new routine.”

“Eleanor was fantastic. She reassured us with the report cars and photos. We have older cats so more concern about going on vacation. I highly recommend Eleanor as she clearly loves fur babies. Thank-you!!”

“I moved to STL and had to travel less than a week later. My cat was unusually a bit skittish in a new place amongst a bunch of boxes. Katie came through for me on very short notice and made me feel comfortable that she had my buddy covered. Thank you Katie!”

“I met Damica early this morning to drop off Bentley and she was more than welcoming. It seems he really took a liking to her. He acted really well, and she sent me many updates about his day and progress at her home and he did amazing. He was more than ready for bed when we got home…lol I loved it. We will be booking again 100%”

“We left our 6-month old puppy, Gracie, with Jennifer for the day. She sent us 3 videos during the 8 hours, reassuring us that Gracie is happy and playing with the other dogs. Jennifer asked questions when we dropped Gracie off, that made us feel comfortable that she cares and she is knowledgeable about dogs.. We will definitely be using her service again.”

“Nana was a phenomenal sitter! Her dog got along so well with mine and I could tell she was getting lots of attention and playtime because she’d come home and pass out immediately. And I loved the pictures! Would absolutely book with her again.”

“Jessica watched our Shih Tzu all day while we went to Our son’s law school graduation. It was first time leaving her with sitter all day. Jessica sent lots of pictures and text updates with really eased my mind a lot!! I would definitely book her again when I return to St Louis !”

“If you are a super picky dog parent like me, you will not trust your babies to just anyone looking to make a few extra bucks while you're away. Wendy's home is dog friendly with plenty of fresh clean water, comfortable furniture, baby gates to prevent door-dashing, and a well maintained HUGE secure fenced back yard with plenty of room for your dogs to run and explore! She is a wonderful pet parent, and her personal dogs are very well socialized, loved and cared for. 5 stars from this dog mom!”

“Viki very kindly hosted our 1-year-old golden for a day of daycare after our usual daycare person had to leave town urgently. We were so happy to get all the updates and photos of all the fun that Ellie was having at Viki’s place. She was all worn out and happy after a long day of running around and play. I am so glad that we were able to find Viki at the last minute and it turned out to be such a great choice! Can’t thank Viki enough for taking such good care of Ellie!”

“Sarah is a great sitter! We initially booked her for boarding and added on day care so our puppy had a chance to get to know Sarah and her son before our trip. She is very flexible and communicative. We have our boarding scheduled soon and will continue to use Sarah in the future!”

About: I’ve grown up around animals of all kinds, including dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, pigs, sheep, and cows, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I currently have a dog named Sharon, whom I originally fostered along with her five puppies for eight weeks - an experience that gave me plenty of hands on experience caring for puppies and dogs with different needs and personalities. Many of my closest friendships were built around our shared love of dogs, and we’ve regularly helped care for each other’s pets over the years. I’ve hosted dogs in my own home, as well as stayed in clients’ homes to care for elderly dogs who needed extra attention, patience, and comfort. I genuinely enjoy making pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. Currently working from home so I will be a constant presence throughout the day. This also allows me to take your dog for as many walks as needed or any other specific services required. I have one dog who is usually a couch potato and sleeps all day. She is very dog friendly in all aspects. I have a fenced in backyard and a doggy door so they have full access. Toys and treats are available (if allowed)! Happy to follow any and all instructions.
About: With over a decade of experience caring for dogs, I’ve been the go-to pet caretaker for family members since I was nine. Whether it was for relatives traveling out of town or my own beloved dogs, I’ve handled a variety of breeds and temperaments with the utmost care and dedication. Rest assured, your furry friend will be in experienced, loving hands. My daily routine revolves around my pup. Each morning starts with a walk before I head to school for a few hours. When I get back, we enjoy some quality time, and I make sure my dog is fed and happy. Even when I work the night shift, I have a trusted friend who comes by to take care of my dog. At night, my dog is right by my side, sleeping in the bed with me until the next morning. Your pet will be cared for with the same love and attention I give my own. I prioritize the safety and well-being of every dog in my care. Whether your dog prefers to be in or out of the crate, I ensure they are comfortable and secure. You can trust that I maintain a vigilant and caring watch over all the dogs I look after.
“Ashlie and Phillip were great with my pup! Excellent communication both before and during our stay. Their home is a perfect environment for any dog who loves getting lots of attention and outdoor play.”

“Haile and Alex were so pleasant and informative. This was my first stay and they took the time to let my dog get acclimated with the other dogs upon arrival. They sent pics and videos to make me feel comfortable about me being apart. At pickup time they provided advice based off of what they experienced during the stay to help her next stay be just that much better for my pup. Needless to say her new bestie Evie had a great time and she is down for the count. ☺️ Thank you!”

“My dog Taku and I relocated here from Michigan recently. We have no family or friends here in Illinois. I was so stressed and anxious on what I will do with Taku while I’m at work or a long day or long weekend. Taku has separation anxiety where if he’s left alone, he will cry and bark the whole entire time. Then I found Jeena on Rover! She was so accommodating! She allowed Taku and I to come meet her and her cats to see if they all got along, before we booked her for a half day of day care. Taku did really well at her place! He felt comfortable and when I went to pick him up, he was happy and well taken care of. It seemed like he really loved her already and he gave her kisses goodbye! We will definitely be using Jeena again!! We feel so lucky to have found her!!!! Thanks Jeena and Rover!”

“TzuYu took great care of my dog! She gave very frequent updates & photos of my dog going on walks and playing with her and her dog. We already booked the next visit.”

“Annamaria has been great! Charlie seems to really like her, and she’s been able to get him out of the house every visit so far - he can sometimes be a bit stubborn and refuse to get up lol. I’m very happy with the service so far, and definitely plan to continue having her work with Charlie.”

“Lauren was great and available short notice. It’s clear she has lots of experience with dogs and loves them! She even took Nell Bell out in the pouring rain and was very prompt. Thank you so much for hanging with my senior best friend and providing her good care.”

About: I don’t currently have a fur baby of my own so I am looking to care for others’ furry family members. I will love, pamper and care for them as I would my own..... I am looking for long-term relationships, however I would be happy to fill in on a short-term, temporary basis as well. I have a fenced in yard and live close to many parks. If your pet needs one-on-one attention, I am willing to accommodate and only take in one family pet at a time. Your fur baby would get a lot of TLC and one-on-one attention. I have plenty of time in my life to care for and play with your furry family member. I have a fenced in yard. Live close to three nice parks-Carondelet, Jefferson Barracks, Lemay Park. Small dog park in the neighborhood. Lots of places to play nearby. I work part time outside the home. I will be gone for a maximum of five hour blocks when scheduled to work away from home. I have a fenced in yard. My home is very pet friendly. Many pet pillows and toys to choose from throughout the house. I am selective about treats I purchase for my guests. Puppers allowed to be on furniture if the owners are okay with that. I have Ring cameras to keep an eye on the fur babies when I’m away and love to share those videos with the family.

About: Hi there, I'm Lindsay! I love animals and have always made them a huge part of my life. I currently own 2 cats, and I live with another cat and young dog. I love playing with dogs and teaching them new tricks - no matter if they are lazy or stubborn. I'm currently working towards a small business, but I have plenty of time on my hands with my flexible hours. I will be your best friend if you want to plan dog-sitting in advance or a scheduled dog walking (ex: every Mon, Tues, Weds). Disclaimer: I often spend time in Indiana with my fiancé, but it is no problem to get back to Missouri when I am scheduled on Rover, as Missouri is my home base. If you want someone to make your animal feel special, please keep me in mind. I have enthusiastically attended a hamster's birthday party, and that is the energy I'd put into your animal. I also personally have experience with golden retrievers, labs, mini aussies, siberian cats, etc. I would love to teach your dog new tricks or just cuddle and play with them. I hope to care for your animal(s), and provide excellent communication and service for both the animal and owner! I'm currently spending most of my time in Weldon Spring, MO planning my wedding and starting a small business. I spend about 8 days in Indiana every month to visit my fiancé, but those travel dates are very flexible and I can drive back as needed (4.5 hours away). I don't currently offer boarding services as I'm back in the family home, but I will be offering those as soon as I get a home. Stay tuned! If I'm in your home, I am following your rules. If I ever have a question of what is allowed, I will contact you. I will also be sure to ask many questions at our meet and greet to make sure your animal and I play with your rules. Consistency is key, and I will happily reinforce that with your animal.
“Meghan was absolutely wonderful with our high energy mini schnauzer Oli! They even ran together and Oli had the happiest face in her card picture. Oli also looked very well cared for when we got back home. Meghan was careful to wipe Oli’s muddy paws, refresh her water bowl, and spoil her with a couple treats. Her updates were detailed, yet concise. We loved having Meghan as Oli’s new friend and would recommend her to our family and friends. :)”

“Wren loves her walks with Brianna and waits by the door for in the morning. It’s very comforting to have an animal lover like Brianna to take care of my pup!”

“Excellent host! Arrived very early in the morning for drop-off and arrived later at night for pick-up. Accommodating. Sent updates. And took care of my pup. Thank you!”

Etc.
“Madeline was great! Super flexible and responsive. Sent photo updates and kept me in the loop with how my Stevie girl was doing throughout her stay. Will definitely look to rebook with Madeline!”
