About: I grew up in the country with many different animals, mostly rescues. I am very familiar and comfortable with caring for and training many different animals. I currently do independent work dictated by my own schedule. I am usually pretty flexible and able to take last minute requests for walks, pet care and training. I don't offer pet care in my home but I try to accommodate the unique needs of every animal with sensitivity and compassion. I'm very used to a wide range of animals, mostly rescues and some formerly abused animals.

About: i've grown up surrounded by animals, and always had a knack for taking care of them. i've worked with everything from a service dog in training to grumpy senior cats, and loved all of it. there's no odd request (like doing a dance before dinner), unique problems (like wobbly cats), or basic challenges i can't handle. i'll treat your pets like my own im currently a full time student which give me tons of flexibility in scheduling. generally speaking im available ever weekday after noon but if needed i can always make time for your furry friend! I have a passion for dog training so i would love to work with your pup on whatever you would like. i can also do some light house cleaning if you want!

About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I’ve lived my entire life. I grew up with a golden retriever named Arwen, and from 8th grade on, I was fully responsible for her walks, training, and care. I even started waking up an hour earlier every day just to make sure she got her morning walk in before school! Later, when I moved to the U.S. for college, I helped raise and train my roommate’s husky puppy, Ava, who struggled with separation anxiety. I’d take her to class, skate with her to tire her out, and help her stay calm and confident. It was like co-parenting a very energetic fur baby—and I loved every minute. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities—from hyper puppies to senior dogs with medical needs. My husband and I pet sat for two elderly Bichon Frises (17 years old!) every year while their owners traveled, carefully managing their diet, medications, and gentle exercise. I’ve also grown to love cats after living with Archie—my first real cat roommate—and have experience gently brushing, bonding, and caring for both indoor and stray cats (I even accidentally helped my mom adopt a kitten when I took in a stray!). Most recently, I taught my in-laws’ senior dog Ellie new tricks at the age of 7, proving that even older pups can learn with patience and love. We can’t have pets in our home right now due to landlord restrictions, so pet sitting is how I stay connected to what I love most—animals. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I genuinely enjoy making them feel safe, happy, and loved while their humans are away. I am a bioengineering Ph.D. Student, most of the time I have freedom of picking my hours, as well as working from home when needed! I always start by learning as much as I can about your pet’s routine, preferences, health needs, and quirks. Whether it’s medication schedules, feeding routines, or special toys they love—I’m here to follow your instructions to a T. I do my best to keep your pet’s day feeling as normal as possible while you’re away. I’m extremely respectful of your home and always aim to leave it just as you left it (or better!). I double-check doors and windows, never leave pets unsupervised outside, and keep a tidy, pet-safe environment throughout the stay. I also send regular updates—photos, videos, and check-ins—so you can relax knowing your fur baby is happy and well cared for. If you ever need in-my-home care in the future (pending landlord approval!), my goal would be to provide a cozy, stress-free space that’s clean, safe, and set up to meet your pet’s unique needs.

About: I’ve had over 35 years experience caring for dogs, cats and even a couple bearded dragons. I’ve house trained 3 puppies and participated in training classes for both the dogs we currently have and a couple in the past. Over the years I’ve cared for countless pets for my friends and family and I’d love to care for yours. My husband and I own a small business so I work for myself and set my own hours which are minimal. I’m mom to two adult children so I have plenty of time to devote to your pets. About: I’ve lived my whole life growing up with dogs in my family home, and I’ve dog sat for neighbors, family, and friends. I’ve also walked dogs around the neighborhood. I’m currently a student at UCSC. I love hiking, going to the beach, and going for walks. I’d love to have the chance to care for someone’s pet. I am available every day. I have a lot of free time to spend with people’s pets. I’m currently a student at UCSC, so pet sitting on the side would be a great chance for me to make extra money! I live in a two bedroom apartment in Santa Cruz. I have one roommate who loves animals. I also love animals. I have plenty of space for an animal to roam around and feel comfortable, and I have a space to put a crate or a dog bed. Usually when I first meet a pet, I introduce myself and try to get a sense of what the animal is feeling. If they’re shy, I give space, if they’re friendly, I’m open to cuddling for hours. Next to my apartment there is a park that I love to take the dogs I dogsit. It’s a very nice walk. If I am watching someone’s pet, they are welcome to roam around freely in my apartment if they’d like.

About: I have been a dog lover since I got my first dog, Kiwi the puggle, about 20 years ago. While I can't have a dog at my current place, I love to hang out with my friends dogs and dog walk/sit when I can. I have experience dog sitting a variety of dogs - from a senior german shepherd/mastiff mix to a bernadoodle puppy, to high energy australian shepherds and golden retrievers. I try to respect your pets needs and boundaries as well as respecting the home that I am sitting in. If a dog seems high to medium energy, I try to provide stimulation through walks and play. I also make it a priority to respect the boundaries of your pet. I will give them space and let them come to me if they are shy, will be gentle and patient if I sense anxiety, all the while trying to let them know that they are safe & that I am a friend.

About: Hope to Talk and Meet with You soon! I had I've had much experience calming down rescue dogs who have not been to formal training. My charge would be extra for these. If your dog is at least a year, or has had a few classes in behavior, then my prices are as stated in the first section under rates. If I'm watching your pet for a day or part of a day, this should be great and no worries. Same goes for walking your dog. the price for walking and transportation to and from home to the park or beach etc. My last job was where we developed a routine run and walk, and the toys I brought. Its important to know how the owners see the life of their pet and what attention and routines have invested in their dog. If injured what they have experienced before I get involved. I took some time off traveling and now I'm back!

I grew up with two shih tzus, Sushi and Roamy, and cared for them well into their senior years, including medication administration and many vet visits.
