About: I have watched cats and dogs (including puppies) for years! I have two special needs cats and a senior special needs dog. I have so much patience and love for animals and have managed to transform the lives of my 3 pets mentioned above simply through giving them the space they need, the love they need, and the attention they ask for. I work in animal care and have animals at home to care for as well, so caring for other's animals fits into place around my work schedule. I am able to do drop-ins before 9:00am and after 6:00pm (5:00pm on weekends). I care for pets in their home and do my best to mind people's privacy and focus on the pet. My visits include food and water refreshes, scooping litter as needed, and lots of cuddles and playtime. I will always send pictures and updates about our visits.

About: I grew up in a home full of animals, including two cats, a dog, a bearded dragon, and a tank of colorful fish, and also loved taking care of neighbor's pets when they traveled. I also had the opportunity to look after my sister's senior cat during the pandemic, including administering his bevy of daily meds. Although my current state in life makes having a pet of my own impractical, I continue to spend lots of time with animals, including my parents enormous rescue dog and a neighbors' sweet orange cat who I look after when she travels. I would love to help out with your pet care needs, and can even attempt to teach your furry friend anatomy or pharmacology (I'm in med school), although I can't guarantee they'll listen :) As a student, my schedule is fairly flexible and I can work with you to find a time that is ideal for both of us. Generally, I'm free for drop ins in the morning and evenings, as well as any time on weekends. I know that it's a huge act of trust to allow someone into your home and even more so to have them take care of your pet. Having always had pets growing up, I know that they all have their own quirks and different personalities, often known only to their owner. I promise to care for each pet as an individual, taking into account their (and your) preferences and wishes. I also aim to maintain good communication so you never have to wonder how they're doing in your absence.

Ryo did a great job for our 10 night house/cat-sit. Great communication, sent plenty of pictures, and I know that our three shy cats were definitely building that comfort and familiarity you all hope for in a house or pet sitter. Only feedback is the water bowls needed one last top-up, but not the end of the world. Overall Ryo was super respectful of our space, and left everything in its place. This was my first time using Katie and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the start, her communication was prompt and reassuring — exactly what you need when leaving your pup with someone new. Camo clearly had a wonderful time; you could just tell he was comfortable and well cared for. What really set Katie apart was coming home to a clean house with fresh sheets — she didn’t just watch Camo, she treated my home with total respect. Brooke was so wonderful with our two dogs!!! It was such a relief to find someone to take care of both our dogs while all my family was out of town. She did great giving one dog medicine and with making food for a picky dog. Also our house was well taken care of. I would definitely recommend Brooke and I will be using her again.
