The cats were mainly relaxed, my gray cat is skittish around children so he was a little reluctant to let me pet him because her daughter had been here just before I got home. The house was very well cared for and the plants were in good shape. She did some extras which made the house nice and neat looking when I returned. About: I have owned dogs my entire life and been a house/dog sitter for 10 years. I’m currently a dog foster mama and have two of my own dogs. We live on about 3 acres of land so the dogs have plenty of room to run and play! My dogs are apart of our family so your dogs will become part of our family too! Can issue any type of medication as well. High experience, Iv had all sorts of different breeds through fostering! I work full time but I work completely from home M-F. Your pet would rarely be alone and if they were, it would be an hour max. I don’t have a fenced yard but will happily walk your dog on a leash or off leash if completely trained. I have two fur babies of my own who love to run and play with other dogs!

I know how to administer medicine, if needed. Also, know what signs to look for when an animal is sick. Having a dog myself, I will care and love your fur baby like it’s my own!

About: I have never been in a home without a pet. Growing up with a dog and multiple cats has shaped me into being an animal lover. I have focused on providing long and happy lives for my pets and I know I have the heart to care for yours too! Besides caring for elderly cats, I have rescued and rehomed multiple others. I work at the NC Zoo, so I am able to go home and let dogs out/walk them over my hour lunch. I do watch my parents 2 Australian shepherds whenever they are out of town at my home, with a fenced in backyard, and my 2 cats get along with the dogs fine! I am a full-time zookeeper with a rotating schedule. I am available for at home care, overnight care as well as drop in visits throughout the week! I’m free for over-night house-siting in Chapel Hill on weekdays and weekends. I have my own small young pup who is a sweetheart and comes along with me. When house-siting on Tue, Wed, Thu, I would be home with your pet from 6PM to 8AM. I charge a lower fee those days. Monday and Friday, I can come provide a potty break at noon. On the weekends, I can be home 70-100% of the day, depending on your needs. I think exercise and stimulation are very important! I personally love going on long walks and driving to the park. But every dog’s needs are different. I’m happy to take any care instructions the pet parent requests.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
