From the first meet & greet all the way through the boarding, they were loved and valued as if they were her own dogs! She gave us so many photos and updates so we were always in-the-know on how our dogs were doing. Brittany is so thoughtful she noticed one dog had some bad dry skin so she gave her an oatmeal bath to make her more comfortable. We will definitely be contacting Brittany again!”

“Taylor has done an excellent job on sitting our Kiki. She kept us updated with Kiki's daily activities with photos. Although there is a huge size difference between Kiki (11 lbs) and Taylor's dog, Sadie, a regular size golden retriever, they two get along and play together very well. From the shared pictures we can tell Kiki felt comfy and looked happy whether she was inside of Taylor's house or outside at the yard, which gave us peace of mind so we can truly enjoy our trip. We are thankful to Taylor's effort and will ask Taylor for help again for our future trips.”

“Amy & John took such good care of our two dogs, boarding them for nearly a week while we traveled. I was so appreciative and relieved they would consider us, as our young dog, River, is always curious and has a pretty strong prey drive. I wondered if he would be suited to life on their farm. Our other guy, Colton, is 15 and has significant arthritis. These two could not have more different needs at this point. Amy and John have a beautiful farm, two special rescued dogs, Bruno & Pork Chop, cattle, chickens, even emu. This would be a new experience for both our guys! Generally we spend a great deal of time with them off leash walking our family farms, but this would be a new property and boundaries without fencing. At our meet and greet it was clear Amy and John are special people. We admired them right away! They are very experienced, and were aptly methodical about the introduction of all the dogs and their other farm animals. Their confidence that this could work for all parties involved was reassuring. Amy and John went above and beyond, very kind to take our dogs a day earlier than planned with short notice, and welcomed our daughter, also new to them, who transported the dogs for us. They were excellent at communicating, sending us updates, pictures, and videos, even though we’d told them this was not necessary, as keeping up with River, his energy and curiosities, we knew could be a full time job in and of itself. But it gave us great peace of mind hearing early on that all was going well and there were no issues. Because of Amy & John’s care, patience, and diligence, after a full day with them we received the following, “..Bruno and River have become fast friends, running circles and playing hide and seek in the woods like wild things! We’re not using the leashes at all as we walk in the woods. River’s been absolutely perfect about coming back when we call him.” And I got the biggest kick out of, “I just got back from a walk with all four dogs, Pork Chop and Colton waddling behind me and River and Bruno having a blast playing chase.” Along with a picture Amy sent of River with his head poking through from behind her knees (as crazy as it sounds), something he humors only us with here at home, we KNEW both our guys felt comfortable, were happy and very much cared for. I could not imagine a more perfect scenario for our dogs. Now back at home, we can definitely sense they are missing Amy, John, Bruno, Pork Chop, and daily life on their farm. I’d love to arrange a play date to help with this, and I KNOW precisely what River and Colton’s reactions will be once we approach their farm. It’s clear this is a family that loves animals and cares so much for the well-being of all they have rescued and assumed responsibility for. They are kind, exceptional, hard-working individuals, and we feel so fortunate to have met them and to have our dogs cared for by them. This is who we will turn to any time we need care and boarding for our dogs!”

We live on about 3 acres of land so the dogs have plenty of room to run and play! My dogs are apart of our family so your dogs will become part of our family too! About: Hi! I grew up with dogs in the household my entire life and know just how much love, attention and activity are important. I’m here to provide for your pet when you need an extra hand. I’m free for over-night house-siting in Chapel Hill on weekdays and weekends. I have my own small young pup who is a sweetheart and comes along with me. When house-siting on Tue, Wed, Thu, I would be home with your pet from 6PM to 8AM. I charge a lower fee those days. Monday and Friday, I can come provide a potty break at noon. On the weekends, I can be home 70-100% of the day, depending on your needs. I think exercise and stimulation are very important! I personally love going on long walks and driving to the park. But every dog’s needs are different. I’m happy to take any care instructions the pet parent requests.
About: I honestly haven't had cats for too long. Finding my first stray while in college and raising her until her passing. Had others cats including 2 siamese mixes and a Russian blue. Cats seems to enjoy my calmness and cleanliness.

About: I began my journey learning about responsible pet care and dog training when I was ten years old and enrolled in 4H with my puppy. Since that early age I have gained professional experience in vet clinics, pet stores, and as a professional dog jogger. I did extensive research on positive reinforcement training when I adopted my shy, border collie mix puppy in 2020 and am a strong believer in its ability to form strong bonds and trust with any pet. I also have long training leash so i can play with them since I don't have a fence yet. I used it with my Rottweiler that passed when I lived in apartment up in Michigan. It works great cause its really long so if I needed to step on it I could to stop them. I Iam looking forward to meeting you and and taking care of your fur babies . I am open 7 days a week.Animals are my passion,snd want to do it full time. About: As a young girl I've always had a fondness for animals. I would beg to have a dog until I finally got one. Pepper. Then later Betsy. I've had guinea pigs and rabbits. A rat and mice. Hamsters and chinchillas. I loved them all. I have been around farm animals quite a bit. I'm in love with horses and could even provide care for farm animals. In high school I started working at the vet clinic that at the time offered boarding services. I did that for a short time. In that time I have dog/house sat for family friends. Now in more recent years I've dog sat and currently work for a boarding business. I have been there a full year now and I love it. I work full time though on the weekends I have plenty of time to feed, potty and play with your babies. Of course they would get spoiled . I have 3 fenced in areas in my back yard. One of the areas has 3 of my dogs. One of the fence areas is connected to the back porch when my Boxer and his pit mix sister potty and play. The other fence area is not being used by any dogs now. I have plenty of room for your pupper and can use a create if you prefer.

Feeding times are available up to three times a day. Pups spend most of their time playing together out and about on the property, with short naps throughout the day in their kennels to allow for appointments and cleaning! All dogs are crated whenever unsupervised. As long as a human is available, the dogs are welcome to hang out about the property, in a kennel run, or chilling in the house. All kennels, crates, yards, bedding, etc are sanitized in between clients.
About: I’ve always loved being around animals and making sure they get the proper care they need. All of my family has relied on me to potty train their dogs. I have experience with multiple different breeds because I worked at a boarding/training facility. I am currently on summer break because I am a teacher so I have plenty of availability. I’m a morning person so I typically get up then feed and walk my dogs then tackle whatever the day brings. I’m only not available on Tuesday evenings. I follow your pet's established routine, stick to their feeding schedule, and keep everything exactly as you left it. About: I have been a pet sitter for 6 years. I own my own house/dog walking business. I chose to expand my services over to Rover! I work a few hours out of the evening so i have plenty of time to hang out with the doggos i keep and take them out every 4 hours In my home, I have a room specifically for the pups that I keep. When I am home i allow them to roam but when Im away I do not cage them unless the owner recommends it! If you prefer for me to come to your home, I abide by the instructions you leave for me.

“Amy & John took such good care of our two dogs, boarding them for nearly a week while we traveled. I was so appreciative and relieved they would consider us, as our young dog, River, is always curious and has a pretty strong prey drive. I wondered if he would be suited to life on their farm. Our other guy, Colton, is 15 and has significant arthritis. These two could not have more different needs at this point. Amy and John have a beautiful farm, two special rescued dogs, Bruno & Pork Chop, cattle, chickens, even emu. This would be a new experience for both our guys! Generally we spend a great deal of time with them off leash walking our family farms, but this would be a new property and boundaries without fencing. At our meet and greet it was clear Amy and John are special people. We admired them right away! They are very experienced, and were aptly methodical about the introduction of all the dogs and their other farm animals. Their confidence that this could work for all parties involved was reassuring. Amy and John went above and beyond, very kind to take our dogs a day earlier than planned with short notice, and welcomed our daughter, also new to them, who transported the dogs for us. They were excellent at communicating, sending us updates, pictures, and videos, even though we’d told them this was not necessary, as keeping up with River, his energy and curiosities, we knew could be a full time job in and of itself. But it gave us great peace of mind hearing early on that all was going well and there were no issues. Because of Amy & John’s care, patience, and diligence, after a full day with them we received the following, “..Bruno and River have become fast friends, running circles and playing hide and seek in the woods like wild things! We’re not using the leashes at all as we walk in the woods. River’s been absolutely perfect about coming back when we call him.” And I got the biggest kick out of, “I just got back from a walk with all four dogs, Pork Chop and Colton waddling behind me and River and Bruno having a blast playing chase.” Along with a picture Amy sent of River with his head poking through from behind her knees (as crazy as it sounds), something he humors only us with here at home, we KNEW both our guys felt comfortable, were happy and very much cared for. I could not imagine a more perfect scenario for our dogs. Now back at home, we can definitely sense they are missing Amy, John, Bruno, Pork Chop, and daily life on their farm. I’d love to arrange a play date to help with this, and I KNOW precisely what River and Colton’s reactions will be once we approach their farm. It’s clear this is a family that loves animals and cares so much for the well-being of all they have rescued and assumed responsibility for. They are kind, exceptional, hard-working individuals, and we feel so fortunate to have met them and to have our dogs cared for by them. This is who we will turn to any time we need care and boarding for our dogs!”
