I think I’m personally good at reading a cat’s body language because their personalities can definitely range from the crazy orange tabby to the judgey calico or the lazy Persian 😂. About: I have had cats in the home since I was about 6 years old, I am now 23 and still have a 17 year old, an 8 year old, and a 1 year old. I have had the experience of raising kittens from kittenhood until their golden years. Besides my own pets, I have rescued and taken care of multiple stray cats as well. Most notably would be two years ago when I rescued two kittens from my local park. I spent countless hours with them before catching them and getting them to the vet for all of their shots and fixing. Afterwards, they lived at my home where I would spend hours sitting with them, trying to get two feral boys to be friendly so they could be rehomed. Currently, they are living with a loving home that provides frequent updates and they even sleep in the bed with her! Cats specifically can require patience and a kind hand, which I am more than happy to provide. Cats set their boundaries and I respect them while keeping an eye on them. During my husband's time in the USAF, we moved around for 26 years and in our final tour, we were stationed near a dog grooming school. I decided to go to school while grooming my own dogs at home! I have experience with puppies/kittens and seniors as wells as administering medications. I’m currently a stay at home mom so my time is pretty open at the moment! Drop in visits are the easiest for me right now as I will not be able to provide boarding or stay in home. I will respect and follow all directions when it comes to your pet in their own home, whether that be crating or free roam. I leave that completely up to you! I want both you and you fur babies to be as comfortable as possible.
About: As a young girl I've always had a fondness for animals. I would beg to have a dog until I finally got one. Pepper. Then later Betsy. I've had guinea pigs and rabbits. A rat and mice. Hamsters and chinchillas. I loved them all. I have been around farm animals quite a bit. I'm in love with horses and could even provide care for farm animals. In high school I started working at the vet clinic that at the time offered boarding services. I did that for a short time. In that time I have dog/house sat for family friends. Now in more recent years I've dog sat and currently work for a boarding business. I have been there a full year now and I love it. It is part time hours and would like something extra that still involves animals. Dog walks and care are not a problem for me. I would love to help anyone with their precious pups. I'm also trying to advance in trade skills and become a dog trainer.

About: I am a college student at UNCG. I love children and animals. I grew up on a 200 acre farm, always caring for something. At one point we had about 23 baby goats, along with chickens , donkeys, several cats and a dog. I even cared for my friends snake for a year. I also spent a summer out on the coast interning with the North Carolina Aquarium. There I helped care for animals of all kinds, from tarantulas and alligators, to birds and otters and even the pet possum. About: I have worked in veterinary medicine for three years, have owned many dogs in my life, and currently work as a mobile groomer. I have two certificates in grooming as well as experience in doggy daycare, dog and cat boarding, dog training, first aid, and equine welfare and management.
