I hold a Dog Shelter Handling Certificate and have my RECOVER Pet CPR certification, and I've worked with all kinds of dogs: high energy wrestlers, anxious sweethearts, and everything in between. About: I have taken care of animals since I was about 10 years old, I’ve been trusted with families as well as family, friends, and family to watch dogs. Ever since I was born, I’ve grown up with a yellow lab, and a Labradoodle, who I currently have still I’ve cared for dogs, my whole life, and understand the importance of finding someone who is reliable and trustworthy to watch your dog. I am a sophomore at the University of Kentucky and home for the summer. I have a Summer job that I work three times a week but I do not work all day, so watching your dog would be a simple task. I understand the importance of making sure your dog is safe and with someone who is trusted, which is why I will ensure to send pictures and give my full attention to your dog whether it’s helping with medicine, which I have to do with my current dog understanding its behaviors.

About: Not only have I worked with animals my whole life I also work with dogs specifically with a rescue organization called AdoptMeBluegrass. I help with their animal care weekly and am part of their foster program. My family and my own dogs have welcomed hundreds of others into our home and always provide excellent care. I am a local landlord and typically only go out to work at the pet adoption center for AdoptMeBluegrass. I have no set work hours. I spend my time with the dogs. I have a double fenced property on a dead end street. Dogs love the 3/4 dedicated dog yard for them to play on our 6 acres of land. We have crates and can make your pet feel right at home. I’m a treats giver so let me know if there is something they can’t have or any other dietary restrictions. I can also come to your pet for services while you are away.

In a client’s home, I stick closely to their routine—feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and any specific instructions—while also reinforcing good habits like leash manners, calm greetings, and settling. Dogs get supervised time, appropriate exercise (including trail walks when it’s a good fit), and clear boundaries so they can relax and succeed. About: I've personally had dogs for over 20+ years. My pack has been as small as 1, but as large as 5. I've been active in rescue groups and truly feel like dogs are the answer for any sadness. I've recently lost my soul dog after a 2 year struggle with cancer. My heart isn't ready for another dog, so I am hoping I can still get my cuddles in and help people out in the meantime. I've become a pro at giving medicine, so if you need a midday dose giver, Im your gal! I'm a realtor, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I can make most days or evenings work. About: Hi, I'm Jess, a lifelong animal advocate, former shelter director, ordained interspecies animal chaplain, and experienced caretaker based in Prospect, Kentucky. I've spent years working hands-on with animals of all sizes, species, temperaments, and health needs. As Operations Director at the Terre Haute Humane Society, I worked directly alongside veterinarians to implement shelter medicine protocols and quality of life standards, giving me informal vet tech experience that most pet sitters simply don't have. I'm comfortable medicating dogs and cats, administering treatments, bathing, trimming nails, and supporting animals through illness and recovery. I bring a broad working knowledge of both pharmaceutical and natural health interventions, and I'm deeply familiar with navigating complex health needs, from post-surgical recovery to chronic illness management. For over five years, I fostered dogs through the Terre Haute Humane Society, including puppies and adults with serious behavioral challenges, dogs who were facing euthanasia due to behavioral issues, and severely ill animals, including parvo puppies, which requires intensive, around-the-clock care and a steady nervous system. For dogs staying in my home, we have a generous space, a calm environment, and two resident dogs who are well-socialized and accustomed to sharing their space with visitors. For cats, I have a dedicated room that belongs entirely to them, completely separate from the dogs. Their day includes multiple play sessions, consistent feeding times, and unhurried morning time with me, typically two hours, where I am simply present with them in their space. No rushing, no chaos, just quiet companionship and genuine attention. Whether you need me in my home or yours, the consistency, presence, and care remain exactly the same. Myself and my two dogs, Richardt and Darryl, live in a quiet, kid-free house on four acres of fenced in land. The property is also located near multiple parks for added exploration and walks, if desired. Both of my dogs love other dogs of all breeds and sizes. Richardt is an 11 year old senior Boston Terrier with an incredibly laidback personality, and Darryl is a 2 year old Boston Terrier pup with a playful, curious energy about him. I've been working professionally with animals for the past 12+ years, and have been a proud pet parent for even longer. My work history includes five plus years with the Animal Care Society, Treat's Pet Resort, and PetSuites Resort & Spa, as well as caring for my own personal clients' pets for the past 18 years. In addition to crating, I also have a baby gate if you think your pet might prefer some time away from others at any point during their stay. About: Hey! My name is Megan. I have had the privilege of working with animals for the past two years. I have a pretty diverse background which includes a year of experience in a veterinary clinic, where I assisted with feeding, walking and companionship with the dogs. In addition, I’ve spent time taking care of horses delving into the equestrian world. Recently, I have been pet sitting and doing drop ins for friends and family, which consists of feeding, walking and playing with the dogs. I have also owned both dogs and cats throughout my entire life! I am currently in school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-12ish. So my schedule is pretty open and flexible. I do work as a pharmacy technician 1-2 days a week sometimes but if I am pet sitting I typically do not do that. While I don’t provide any services in my house I am a very kind and approachable. I feel this creates a safe environment for the pets and a trustworthy environment for the owners.
