I grew up with dogs, cats, and birds! Over the years I’ve cared for pets of all breeds, ages, and personalities for friends, family, and clients. When caring for a pet in my client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I carefully follow all feeding, walking, medication, and additional instructions to ensure consistency. I make sure pets receive not only their basic care, but also attention, affection, and engagement based on their personality — whether that’s playtime for an energetic dog or calm companionship for a more reserved cat! I treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping spaces tidy and secure. I double (sometimes triple!) check doors, gates, food storage, and anything safety related before leaving.

About: Every week I take shelter dogs on enriching field trips, helping them burn energy, explore new places, and just be dogs. That same care and attention is what I bring to every client's pup. I hold a Dog Shelter Handling Certificate and currently getting my RECOVER Pet CPR certification, and I've worked with all kinds of dogs: high energy wrestlers, anxious sweethearts, and everything in between. I have experience with puppies, adults and elderly dogs alike, big and small! Myself and my two dogs, Richardt and Darryl, live in a quiet, kid-free house on four acres of fenced in land. The property is also located near multiple parks for added exploration and walks, if desired. Both of my dogs love other dogs of all breeds and sizes. Richardt is an 11 year old senior Boston Terrier with an incredibly laidback personality, and Darryl is a 2 year old Boston Terrier pup with a playful, curious energy about him. Whatever your pet's desires may be, you can expect for them to be met by my two dogs and myself. If they want to play, we can play! If they want to nap, we can nap! It's your dog's world, we will merely just be living in it. I have two additional crates your pet(s) can use, if needed. In addition to crating, I also have a baby gate if you think your pet might prefer some time away from others at any point during their stay. You can rest assured knowing that your dog will have the perfect balance of structure, play, and relaxation when staying with us.

About: I have taken care of many types of dogs and been around dogs and cats my entire life, and I have 2 dogs. My neighbors and family members often entrust me to watch their dogs while they are gone, and I also have experience with house/dog sitting overnight. I also used to nanny for a family when they got a new puppy and she was also part of my responsibilities. I am working part time right now so I can easily fit in walks at different times of days! I am also available on different days and have a flexible schedule. At home, I take care of my golden doodle and walk her everyday! For my clients, I make sure to give each animal plenty of attention and care with walks, pets, and making sure they have water (and food if applicable).

About: Not only have I worked with animals my whole life I also work with dogs specifically with a rescue organization called AdoptMeBluegrass. I help with their animal care weekly and am part of their foster program. My family and my own dogs have welcomed hundreds of others into our home and always provide excellent care. I am a local landlord and typically only go out to work at the pet adoption center for AdoptMeBluegrass. I have no set work hours. I spend my time with the dogs. I have a double fenced property on a dead end street. Dogs love the 3/4 dedicated dog yard for them to play on our 6 acres of land. We have crates and can make your pet feel right at home. I’m a treats giver so let me know if there is something they can’t have or any other dietary restrictions. I can also come to your pet for services while you are away.

I've recently lost my soul dog after a 2 year struggle with cancer. My heart isn't ready for another dog, so I am hoping I can still get my cuddles in and help people out in the meantime.
