About: Hello! You can call me Wendy. I’m a tenured physics professor and a lifelong animal lover. I currently have three cats of my own and many years of experience caring for both cats and dogs. I have experience caring for senior pets and understand the importance of routines, medication schedules, and paying close attention to changes in behavior and health. I’m patient, reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their family is away. For pets boarding in my home, I understand that some pets may be more comfortable having their own space. If you prefer, I can keep my three cats completely separate from your pet for the entire stay, so your pet can relax in a safe, quiet environment. As a professor, I bring professionalism, responsibility, and strong communication to every pet-sitting job. My schedule is especially flexible during evenings, weekends, holidays, and university breaks. About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was 16 for neighbors and friends and I love it. I bathe, walk, and play with them and make sure all their needs are taken care of. I am currently a senior at the University of Louisville so I have plenty of time to take care and love your little ones. I love meeting new pups and cats! I have a nice backyard with no houses behind it and a friendly dog and cat who love a little company. Our dog is 2 and our cat is 3!

About: I have been a lifelong lover of all animals in every shape, size, and species! I grew up with a dog and cat and now I have my own dog and 3 cats! I did long term pet sitting for two years while in college and now I’m ready to return full time! Animals have always been my passion in life so I cannot wait to meet yours! I also previously worked in a vet clinic so I now have knowledge in animal handling, grooming, administrating medication, and a basic understanding of common pet issues/illnesses. Fitness is also a passion of mine so I would love to take your pets on fun, long walks around the area! I currently work full time Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5pm. So currently I have open availability on the weekends and can be available during the week after 5pm. But I am about to be making my way back to being home full time so I can have the most time available to provide the best service for your pets! I absolutely care for your pets as if they were my own. I know how hard it can be to have to leave your precious babies in someone else’s care but I promise to update you every step of the way! From when I arrive to your home, during the visit, and when I am leaving your home. If you have any questions during the visit I will be able to answer you right away! My top priority is not only your pet but also making sure you feel comfortable every step of the way.

About: I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with plenty of space outdoors, perfect for the frequent pit stop and play time. Just down the street from me is a beautiful dog park, with lots of space to run, play, and socialize with other dogs! I would be thrilled to provide a comfortable and safe environment for your loved ones, worry free for both you and them, while on vacation. I'm an animal lover and can promise you they'll receive lots of attention, play time, and affection, while you are off enjoying some time to yourself! My current schedule is flexible and allows me time for drop in visits, daily walks and overnight boarding for most of the day and evening. I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I tailor my care to each individual animal. In a client’s home, I follow their normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I’m very attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, energy level, or anything else that seems out of the ordinary, and I’ll always communicate with you if I have any concerns. I’m also happy to send photos and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing how your pet is doing while you’re away. Most importantly, I want your pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment. I treat every animal in my care with the same patience and attention I would want someone to give my own.

About: I was a three times a day dog walker for an elderly neighbor. When she passed I took ownership of dog. Now I am looking for some new clients. I work from home and dog walk. I have the time to give to your pup tons of walks, play with them, and give lots of kisses. Fridays are dog park day! I can play with your dog in your home. Give your pup a break from the crate and have me walk and get play with your dog.

About: Hi! I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember, and animals have always been one of my biggest passions. I currently have two rescue dogs and a rescue kitten, so I am constantly surrounded by animals and am very familiar with the care, attention, and love they require. My dogs are apartment dogs with a small yard, so we average about 5–6 walks a day. Walking, playing with, and loving on animals are genuinely some of my favorite things to do. My mission is to provide the best care possible for your pet while also making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I have plenty of experience caring for puppies, kittens, elderly dogs and cats, administering medications, animal hygiene, and more. I am comfortable around animals of any size, color, or breed, and I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs. When I come to walk, play with, visit, or take care of your animals, I will dedicate my time to making sure they are happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I have a large 2 bedroom apartment with plenty of space and beds for playing, sleeping, and zoomies!

That experience taught me how important calm, structure, and consistency are in helping dogs feel more confident. I run Trail & Heel, a dog training and adventure-based care service in Louisville. I focus on practical, real-world training—whether that’s working with puppies, improving leash manners, or helping nervous dogs build confidence. Every walk and interaction is handled with intention. For me, care and training go hand in hand, with the goal of helping dogs become calmer, more reliable, and easier to live with. Caring for dogs is already part of my everyday life, so it fits naturally into my routine. I plan my schedule around the dogs I’m working with so I’m not rushing between visits. That means each dog gets calm, consistent attention and a much better experience overall. Care is always tailored to the dog and the service, but the approach stays consistent: calm, structured, and intentional. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their routine—feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and any specific instructions—while also reinforcing good habits like leash manners, calm greetings, and settling. In my home, I keep the environment structured and low-stress. Dogs get supervised time, appropriate exercise (including trail walks when it’s a good fit), and clear boundaries so they can relax and succeed. I only take on a small number of dogs at a time to make sure each one gets the attention they need.

About: I’ve worked in animal shelters for more than a decade! Experienced with difficult behaviors, including arousal, resource guarding, stranger issues, and more. I use positive reinforcement only. Let me know what treats your pup prefers (or any allergies, special diets) so I can come equipped. I have dogs, cats, and exotic pets of my own. I love animals have dedicated my life to their wellbeing. I’m a skilled handler, my own dogs all present their own challenges (especially on walks). Experienced in administering medications, including injectables. I run with my dogs and would love to run with a client’s dog who is up for it! I’m also up for hikes, long walks, or just a slow stroll for my senior dog friends. Cannot accept client where I will need to use a shock collar, sorry. I work from home and have a lot of flexibility to be home or check in on animals. I love to walk and be outside, so if you pets enjoy sunbathing while I'm on zoom calls, they'll love my set up! I have a fully-fenced half acre yard and friendly animals. For drop ins and services in your home, I will follow your instructions to a tee!

About: I grew up with dogs and cats in and outside the home. Even had my own cat (Princess) for five years before she passed. I’ve never been paid to take care of animals for people outside the family but I’ve done plenty of animal care for family members. I am on my off season for work till August 26th. My daily routine for when I’m off work like this is going to peddlers malls, parks, and hanging out inside reading or watching shows. Usually free during the week any time and the weekends I am generally more busy. I do not have the facilities to bring any pets back to my apartment but I always respect people’s wants for their pets especially since you’d be paying me to do a good job.
