About: I've been surrounded by dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, frogs and fish for 35+ years. I've raised, house-trained, walked, entertained and loved a variety of dogs and cats my entire life. I never get tired of these sweet creatures! As I'm now only working part-time providing early intervention services for children, and am self-employed, I have a great deal of flexibility to care for your dogs and cats. About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was 16 for neighbors and friends and I love it. I bathe, walk, and play with them and make sure all their needs are taken care of. I am currently a senior at the University of Louisville so I have plenty of time to take care and love your little ones. I love meeting new pups and cats! In a client’s home, I stick closely to their routine—feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and any specific instructions—while also reinforcing good habits like leash manners, calm greetings, and settling. In my home, I keep the environment structured and low-stress. Dogs get supervised time, appropriate exercise (including trail walks when it’s a good fit), and clear boundaries so they can relax and succeed. I only take on a small number of dogs at a time to make sure each one gets the attention they need.
