“Angela was absolutely amazing. She exceeded our expectations. We are typically very skeptical of meeting new people on Rover. Our dog is just as picky. He took to her right away and couldn't leave her alone. She communicated with us every step of the way. She sent pictures and updated us as she came and went. She left our home in the same condition it was in when she left. We will most definitely be using her in the future! Thank you again so much Angela!”

She kept my house just as I left it and Juno very much enjoyed her staying with him too! Will definitely book her again!!”

“Nancy made it possible for our cats to enjoy their days just like usual during our two-week trip. Thanks to her, we were able to worry less about them while we were away. We’re so grateful for her care and kindness. If we ever need someone to look after our cats again, we would definitely ask her. Thank you, Nancy!”

“We have 3 senior dogs that do best staying in the environment and routine they are familiar with so an in-home sitter is a must. Jayne had stellar reviews and is also newer to Knoxville just like my husband and I. We knew instantly during the meet and greet that Jayne would be a great match for us and our pups. When our trip came closer, Jayne proactively reached out to nail down details. She sent updates when she arrived to the house as well as daily photos. We were over 2,500 miles away in Portland and were able to enjoy our trip because we knew our pups were in Jayne’s care! We look forward to using her again!”

About: I am a current veterinary student at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, where I am pursuing companion animal medicine. I have spent the past 2 years working in a vet clinic, where a majority of my experience has been working with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. I am new to Rover, but I have 10+ years of experience pet sitting and taking care of others’ fur babies! I am a full time veterinary student, typically at school 8 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday. I can offer drop in visits a couple of times during weekdays, but I am available to spend more time with your pets on the weekends. I am unable to care for pets in my home, but I am more than happy to commute to take care of your pet(s) at your home. I strive to make your pet(s) feel loved and comfortable while you’re gone by playing and loving on them, taking them for walks, administering medications if needed, etc.

“Jasmin took such great care of our home and Millie! She gave us updates and photos throughout the trip and our home was in great shape upon our return! Millie loves playing with and going on walks with Jasmin!!”

“Taylor did an amazing job watching all our animals! I got a lot of updates and when we came back, our animals were happy and the house was immaculate! We will definitely be using him again to house sit for us!”

“Jacklynn was so amazing with our boys for the weekend. Lots of walks and snuggles happened and we came home to some very happy boys! Also always appreciate coming home to a clean house. Will absolutely continue having her care for our guys anytime.”

“I had such a great Rover experience booking with Kelli and by the looks of it, my dog had an even better time! Banks was so happy being able to stay in his house where he is most comfortable and it was a huge weight off my shoulders knowing he was in good hands and not anxious from being in a new place. I will definitely be rebooking and using Kelli again in the future :)”

About: I grew up with dogs for the first 19 years of my life. I fed, bathed, walked, let out, groomed (not very pretty but functional), and gave medication to my family’s dogs. I then rescued my sweet kitty, who I have owned for three years. I am her only caretaker, so know everything necessary to care for a cat. I worked at a veterinary clinic for a summer so have truly seen it all when it comes to animal care. I worked as a dog walker for a summer as well, and assisted with grooming this dog as well as overall basic care. I have completed an undergraduate degree in animal studies and am continuing on to veterinary school, so I have tons of knowledge to put to good use! Overall, these qualifications make me an excellent caretaker for your loved ones! I am currently working a part time job, 10 hours a week, so I have more than enough time to hang out with your loved ones! I will begin vet school the third week of August. I will then be at school usually 8-12, and sometimes 8-5. I can return to your house during my lunch break around noon if needed. I care for the pets in a client’s home with a holistic approach. I ask specific questions to make sure I understand the animal’s needs and routine before or upon arriving. I want to fit into the animal’s life as an asset to their wellbeing, not as a stressor working against it. I read or listen carefully to instruction to make sure I am well equipped to go above and beyond in loving your pets. They will be my first priority during the time they are in my care, rest assured.

“Hope was awesome with my dog, Amelia! I got pictures and updates and funny anecdotes about their time together while I was on vacation. I can tell that Amelia was loved well. I absolutely plan on using her again in the future!!”

Jade was absolutely wonderful with Luna! Jade communicated regularly and sent photos which put my mind at ease while I was away. Luna looked so happy and well taken care of when we returned, and I could tell they had a great time together. I truly appreciated the extra touches Jade took, like spending extra time with her, letting her live in her Queen Victorian Fantasy era while watching movies, leaving a gift for me, and so much more. She also took great care of our home. I highly recommend Jade and will definitely book with her again! Thank you Jade!!!

Heather took such good care of our pup when we went away for an extended weekend! She sent us updates with photos that gave us peace of mind seeing that our pup was happy and content. Our house also looked great upon getting back! Will book again with Heather for our next trip!

Jessica has stayed with our sweet Gabby girl twice now... once, spur of the moment for a funeral and the second time for a 5 night planned trip my Husband and I had. She was truly incredible! She gave consistent updates and sent tons of great pictures and videos. I was an absolute nervous wreck leaving my sweet pup for so long, but her consistent updates and texts gave me so much peace of mind. She gave me the the much needed time and opportunity to relax and enjoy some time away. We look forward to her pet sitting many more times for us.

Rachel was amazing! Very fun and personable! I felt like I already knew her. The animals took to her immediately! From our variety of donkey to dog to guinea pig to cat. Everyone loved her! it is so nice to be able to go away and know that our fur babies are getting much love and care while we are gone. This makes being able to go on vacation much more Pleasant. Thank you Rachel! we will certainly be calling you again!

Ezra was a great sitter- very mindful and diligent in keeping my cats cared for and comfortable. She went above and beyond to follow through with every request I had. I can tell she has a passion for what she does and genuinely loves to take care of animals. I hope I have a chance to request her services again!
