“Brenda was so incredibly helpful and sweet with our dog Indi. We had a work trip come up suddenly and Brenda was extremely accommodating for all requests with a relatively short notice. She gave great updates on each visit, and made sure our dog was as comfortable as possible while she was missing her people! 10/10 and will be utilizing Brenda’s great service again very soon.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats of my own for the past 18 years, and offering services on Rover since 2021. I love going for long walks with the pups and cuddling with kitties. My last pooch crossed the rainbow bridge at 14 years, so I am familiar with senior dog care and administering topical and oral medications. I’m home on weekends, and working a 9-5 during the week. Dogs who are not kid friendly would be more of a challenge, but feel free to message and we can see how to make it work. I have a 2 year old tuxedo cat named BingBong at my home in New Castle and 1/2 custody of a very friendly 5 year old lab/Australian shepherd mix dog named Onyx. I work a full time 9-5 Monday through Friday, but happy to stop by before and after work. My schedule is pretty open on the weekends! I prefer drop in visits and walks in your pet’s home, environment with limited availability for boarding, house sitting, and doggie day care upon request.

“Paige was great! She was very communicative and took great care of my (slightly skittish) dog! Paige made me feel very comfortable that my dog was well taken care of while I was out of town!”

About: My entire life we have had a motley variety of pets in our home. Dogs and cats have always been our staples! I love the fun, quirky, excited energy dogs give out at every age! I know a few training techniques for small commands like sit and lay down, most of our dogs have been rescues so we were more focused on earning their trust and working through anxieties than working through commands. They have always been the best most loyal and protective out of all❤️ I do bring one, occasionally both of our kids on overnight visits so I do ask for kids friendly pets on those, however drop in visits are sometimes flexible! As I am doing this to stay at home with my littles I am extremely flexible with dates and times, unless ofcourse I have prior obligations to other sitting jobs. I am open to one time, weekly, monthly or days on end. Whatever you need help with I will gladly help! For your pets comfort and convenience for you I do visits at your home. No need to pack up your pets! I will be on my way! However if there is an emergency while you are gone I can definitely take them into my home❤️

“Shelby took great care of our cat who needs some extra attention, including daily medication and has a bit of separation anxiety. We appreciated the photos she sent and comments about how he was doing while we were away. We highly recommend Shelby and look forward to booking her again in the future.”

About: Hello! Lifelong animal lover here. Grew up wanting to be a veterinarian, somehow stumbled into tech. Currently on sabbatical from work and enjoying settling into our new life on the Western Slope. We currently have a 14 year old Australian Shephard / Husky whose love language is long meandering walks. I’m Type A, active, and have experience with positive reinforcement training for dogs. Love cats, cared for them growing up, although I can't say I've had any success there with "training"... :) I'm currently on a sabbatical so my weekly schedule is flexible. Typically bring our 14-year-old pup for a long walk mid morning and again late afternoon. Could happily incorporate more exercise for a higher energy pup, or less for those more inclined on couch time. We live on 3 acres near Rifle Mountain Park, set back from the highway. Peaty can generally be found lounging outside in the sun, or sleeping on his bed next to the wood-burning stove. He's happy to show another pup his lifestyle, and we're also happy to follow stricter rules as needed.

“Alexis was a lifesaver! My husband and I brought our Beagle, Banjo, along on a weekend getaway to Glenwood Springs, and he quickly let us know that he was not going to be left alone in our hotel room. Alexis wasn't able to keep him at her home over the weekend due to us not being sure about how he would interact with her kitties. However, she was super flexible and came to us at our hotel. We were able to attend a church event, have lunch with a friend from our home state, and go on a a great date night to Native Son and Iron Mountain Hot Springs while she kept our pup safe and entertained. She sent us lots of adorable pictures of him and we had no issues whatsoever. We would 10/10 hire Alexis again and would recommend her for your pet care needs!”

About: Lifelong animal, pet, and nature lover! I have been caring for other peoples pets for over 12 years. Unfortunately, life got a little too busy for me to continue with this enjoyable “work”, but now I have the flexibility to re-cultivate this passion once again. From walking your dog, to taking them on adventures and hikes, to overnight stays, I am available for whatever you and your precious pet’s need are. I have a Chihuahua mix of my own that I rescued in 2020, and he is such a sweetheart and a major lover of cuddling. During my downtime, I can be found reading, hiking, cleaning, or doing yoga. For a small additional fee, I would love to help you with any other needs you may have, such as house work/organizing, cleaning, or light yardwork. I have full flexibility and availability to meet all the needs and desires of your precious pet! From walks, to hikes, to overnight stays, I am available! I live in Rifle, so I offer drop-in visits and dog walking from Glenwood Springs to Parachute. For overnight stays, I will travel from Aspen to Grand Junction. I have a fenced yard for potty breaks. I love to go on walks with dogs, and will walk them for whatever amount of time they are used to or suits their energy level. I have a sweet, small dog that is friendly to all animals we meet. He will play with your pet, or give your pet space, he is happy either way.

“Mikaela was fantastic with our Zoe! I immediately felt at ease with her on our meet and greet. We travel with Zoe and stay at hotels. Mikaela came to our room, took Zoe out. She also gave her medication! I trust Mikaela with my dog and highly recommend her! We were extremely pleased!”

About: I have been around dogs and cats my entire life. I have always been the first person people call when they need a house sitter so I have many references. I have worked as a doggy daycare attendant in my hometown for a year before moving to college. I was trusted with up to 70 precious dogs at a time and responsible for keeping everything clean and giving them each individual love. My family also breeds basset hounds and have been responsible with litters up to 10 and am experienced in puppy care! :) I am currently a college student with long breaks in between my classes and most afternoons off. I am available for house sitting on most weekends. If you want your dog to have a quick walk in the middle of the day, I am your girl! I will make sure I have detailed instructions from you and will be sending lots of pictures and videos of your cute pups! I will be coming to you with any questions, big or small.
