About: As someone who has been an animal lover my whole life, I have found myself as an active volunteer at our local shelter. I walk and provide enrichment for dogs of all sizes and tempermants, but large dogs have a real special place in my heart since my childhood. Whether your pup needs a quick potty break throughout the day, mental stimulation and playtime, a relaxing stroll, or long walk to really stretch out those legs; I'm here to give them the attention and care we know they deserve. With hands-on experience, basic dog handling/training, basic understanding of dog psychology, and a calm-intuitve approach, each walk is tailored to your dogs uniques energy and needs. I can additonally provide massage therapy, enrichment activities and am comfortable administering medications so your senior pups or pups with special care are well cared for and monitored. Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine with my own dogs and providing that suppoort for your dog Is incredibly important to me too. I currently have a part time job, so I am navigating my schedule as I get started here on rover. Right now I will offer my drop-in services... - most late afternoon/evenings - select full days with full-day availability, - select weekend availability * I will gradually open more available time slots and additional services as I begin to settle into this role, adapt to routines and understand the needs that dog parents and pups require. As I currently offer Drop-ins, care will take place primarily in your home/yard. * I will be in communication with you when I arrive and leave your home. * I follow any instruction you have for me regarding treats, current enrichment routines, feeding (if necessary), safety and cleanliness of your home, etc. * I will always ask permission before introducining any new enrichment activities for your pup. * Before leaving, I make sure your dog is safe, has access to fresh water, and is calm and comfortable. Individual connection with each dog is incredibly important to me. I take the time to connect with each dog before handling them in any type of way, especially if they're shy or very excited to ensure they feel comfortable and safe with me.

About: I have not had any dogs of my own but have always been surrounded by them growing up. All of my neighbors had dogs who I would sometimes walk and play with. My uncle also had Labrador Retrievers who I helped train when I was younger. My family has always had a cat in the house since I was little so I am very familiar with their care. I can be available M-F at 6-6:30am to do morning feeds and at 5pm to do evening feeds. I can be available on Saturday mornings at 8 am to do morning feeds, I have work in the afternoon evening so I will not be available for evening feeds. On Sunday, I can be available for morning feeds and evening feeds at variable times. I am respectful of others space and will only do what is necessary to care for the kitty/doggo unless given permission to do otherwise. Depending on the behavior of the animal, I can stay for up to 20 minutes to give them attention/play with them or just feed them/refill water/take them out to use the bathroom and then skedaddle.

“Lauren was amazing! She took the time to make sure our boys were well taken care of and got their meds. She was awesome to have watching over our doggos while we were away!”

About: Since I was born, I've had an enormous love for animals, especially dogs. Before my parents allowed me to have my own, I was walking my neighbors' dogs or taking care of other family members' dogs. Once I was finally able to have my own, I raised and trained them to be the great dogs they are today! In 2018 I moved here to Hawaii and unfortunately had to leave my dogs home with my mother (to keep her company, and sadly I felt they were getting too old to make the trek here). I find myself with a gaping hole in my heart the size of a dog (well 2)! I'd love to have the chance to help people out and take extra special care of their fur babies! I’m currently working a consolidated schedule of 40 hours per week in 4 days. The days I work (Wed, Fri, Sat, & Sun) I’m only available for PM walks and visits. My off days I’m available all day! Unfortunately my apartment doesn’t allow pets. So I’d only be able to come to your home or walk your fur baby around your neighborhood. I'd take the dogs to the beach, dog parks, lite hiking, and whatever else you as the owner could suggest!

About: Aloha! I have pet sat for my previous neighbors cats and dogs since I was little. I work primarily with cats and dogs. Other animals I have worked with are rabbits, small rodents (gerbils / hamsters / mice), and fish. I have no problem giving them oral medication and can even do insulin shots! I work 8 to 6pm Monday to Friday during the school year. I normally have the weekends off. During the summer my schedule varies! Shoot me a message if you have any questions :) Unfortunately I am unable to care for animals in my home, however I am more than willing to come to you! I am willing to give them all the exercise they need and make sure their bellies are full if it is time to eat.

“Gabby was very sweet with our cat, not to mention super diligent and responsive. She sent thoughtful, regular updates and even handled an emergency situation at our house while we were traveling. Will definitely be using her services again!!”

Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine as I’m available all day, every day, with exception to my part time job I’m working this summer. As I live on a college campus, pets in my care benefit from a lively, social environment with plenty of opportunities to interact with people and other animals. I always double-check that doors are locked, leashes are secure, and pets are never left unattended in unsafe areas. I also send regular updates, so you always know your pet is in good hands.

About: I’ve been working with animals from a young age and I love animals of all types. I have had several types of pets growing up and my favorite was dog of course. I also have watched lots of doggies for other pet owners. I have a flexible schedule, so I can be available every single day of the week and weekends too. I can make multiple visits a day as well. I love making sure everyone’s comfy so I will keep their areas clean and refreshed at all times. I will also use their favorite toys to distract them from the fact that their parents are away.

Brittany P.
“Because your dog deserves more than just a walk. My name is Michael, and I’ve been Brittany’s boyfriend for the last ten years. In that time, I’ve seen her care for dogs in every stage of life — from playful puppies to seniors needing special attention, right up until the incredibly difficult moments of saying goodbye. She’s always shown up with patience, love, and a deep sense of responsibility. When you leave your dog with someone, you’re not just hiring help — you’re trusting them with a member of your family. That’s why I recommend Brittany without hesitation. She brings calm energy, real experience, and a kind of intuitive care that’s hard to find. She’s grown up with dogs of all kinds — from terriers to Dobermans — and she knows how to adjust to each dog’s personality and needs. She also volunteers weekly at the Humane Society, helps with adoption events, and was recently named Volunteer of the Month for going above and beyond. I’ve seen her stay hours past her shift just so a stressed-out or lonely dog can have time outside the kennel. What I admire most is her ability to really read dogs. She knows when a pup needs to run and burn energy, when they need a puzzle toy to stay mentally engaged, and when they just need someone to sit beside them in silence. She also notices the little things — changes in behavior, digestion, or skin — and adjusts their care with that same attention to detail. On top of that, she’s a licensed massage therapist who works in a chiropractic office, so she’s used to adapting to individual needs and tracking wellness. That professionalism and care absolutely shows in how she treats animals. If you want someone who will treat your dog with love, structure, and genuine care, Brittany is exactly who you’re looking for.”

I also worked with her at the Waikiki Aquarium where she cared for the seahorses which are very high maintenance. She did so well that she got the seadragons to have babies which had never been done at the Aquarium before.”

Brandon S.
“I highly recommend Brandon as a pet caregiver! Brandon has been looking over my pets a since we became friends a couple years ago. I had just moved to Hawaii and didn’t know anyone who could watch my pets. When I met Brandon, I could tell he was incredibly responsible, attentive, and genuinely loving toward animals. My pets always feel safe and cared for when they're with him. Whether if it's following specific routines or just offering extra cuddles, Brandon goes above and beyond to make sure they’re happy and comfortable. I trust him completely with my pets and know they’re in great hands!”
