“Thank you to Jaclyn for taking the last minute booking. We really appreciate her and the great care that she took of our Bunny & Howie and our home. Jaclyn sent us updates and photos which we love to see while we are away. We will absolutely book Jaclyn again. :)”

“Marilyn took great care of our dog. She was very friendly and caring. We felt very comfortable leaving our dog with her. We will definitely reach out to her again to watch our dog in the future.”

“Amanda was so incredible checking in on our girl. She gave great info every time she went over and made us feel so comfortable while we were away. She even helped try and reset our WiFi when it went down for us. She is super nice and we’ve already rebooked her to watch our girl on an upcoming trip!”

“My dog was well cared for and happy during the drop-in. Everything was done as instructed, and the sitter even went beyond expectations to ensure my pup was comfortable and content. Highly recommend!”

“Julie is outstanding. Her innovative ways of handling play and treat time make her particularly adept at gaining our shy cat's trust! She also provides adorable photos. Thanks to Julie, I spend far less time worrying about our cat because I know he's having a good time!”

“First time having JJ visit, and first time using Rover. I couldn’t possibly be happier! JJ is a scared-dog-whisperer! My timid guy did really well with her and it warms my heart to see it. She’s attentive, communicative, and kind. I will certainly reach back out to JJ in the future, and recommend you do the same! Thanks from Abvey, Deedle, and especially Rick???”

“Thank you so much Brian for all you do for Sully. We really appreciate the time you spend with him and taking him out and all and also thanks for bringing in the mail that was even more than we expected. Recommend you anytime!!”

About: I have experience with a variety of animals - I've adopted 6 cats, 3 dogs, 2 parakeets, 2 guinea pigs, and a ferret in my lifetime! I have experience with both kitties/puppies and geriatric cats and dogs, and everything in between! I love all animals and I am constantly going through trial and error to ensure they have a long fulfilling life, whether that's making fun and enriching toys for them or finding picky eaters food they love! I am taking a semester off of college while I work to become a pet groomer, so I am available most days and times! I cannot do long stays in order to take care of my pets at home as well, but I am happy to do visits and short stays! I am very conscientious of doors and safety hazards when it comes to pet proofing. Ferrets and kittens really know how to test how pet proof something is, so I am very keen on delivering a safe environment. I will make sure to supervise your dog if you have a backyard and I know the proper way to secure a leash when taking them for walks!
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’m a cat owner myself and have two wonderful female cats. I’m passionate about providing care. I volunteer at the SPCA and received training in both feline and canine behavior and handling. I regularly attend cat adoption events to help cats find loving homes. A few years ago, my family drove hours to adopt my now 4 year old cat, Francis, after finding her through a Craigslist listing. I’ve also sat pets for family and friends, cats and dogs. I have experience caring for small animals such as hamsters, gerbils, and mice. I use SEPTA and Lyft for transportation, for that reason, I prefer bookings within Philly. My services are available to you and your pet 24/7. My personal routine is very flexible! Your pet comes first and will always be under my supervision during the stay. I am Fear Free® certified and aim for every pet to feel safe and comfortable in my care. I follow any given instructions and keep you updated during the stay with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
“2nd time booking with Haley and once again she was amazing. My moms dementia has progressed and we took in a new cat after I booked with Haley so I asked her last minute if she could feed the new one and just check on my moms pets and she had no issues doing so. She is worth every penny and more. Thank you Haley!!!”

About: I have grown up with animals of all kinds including not just cats and dogs, I currently care for 2 cats and 2 dogs and love them all. I volunteered at an animal shelter for multiple years and want to continue animal based experiences! I work currently part time but often have my weekends free and enjoy a good walk after getting off of my job, I do part time teacher work so the mental refresh is helpful I believe in utmost safety priority, including surveying surroundings constantly for threats, adjusting to it situationally and avoiding drawing attention to it incase it excites the animal.
About: Hi there, I'm Marco Nunes, the founder of Polo's Paws—a local business dedicated to providing insured, affordable, and high-quality care for dogs. My journey with dogs began when my family rescued a pup facing significant behavioral challenges. She was aggressive towards people and other dogs, and destructive when left alone, making daily life challenging. Determined to help her and others like her, I immersed myself in the world of dog care. I started my career at a dog daycare that offered private lessons and boarding. Under the mentorship of experienced trainers, I quickly learned effective techniques. I led pack walks with groups of 10 dogs, of various breeds and temperaments. Through this experience, I not only transformed my family dog but also gained the skills to help other families achieve the same relief and joy of having a well-socialized, happy companion. Today, my goal with Polo's Paws is to ensure every dog I work with is fully fulfilled and transformed, allowing families to enjoy their wonderful company without the stress of managing a restless dog. With Polo's Paws, you can trust that your dog will receive comprehensive care and training, tailored to their needs. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! I currently work part-time and it’s work from home, which means I spend all of my day with my dog—going on walks, playing, and ensuring they stay active and happy. Your pup will seamlessly join our routine, getting plenty of exercise, socialization, and enrichment throughout the day. Whether it’s a fun pack walk, playtime in my fenced yard, or relaxing downtime, I’ll make sure they have a fulfilling and enjoyable experience while in my care! I provide a secure and enriching space for your dog, whether in my home or yours. My home features a fenced yard and an in-building dog park, perfect for burning off energy. Your pup will also enjoy daily pack walks, just like the ones I led while managing groups of 10 dogs at a time in a doggy daycare. I have a friendly resident dog who loves company, creating a social and welcoming atmosphere. If needed, I can also crate dogs for rest and sleep, ensuring a structured and comfortable stay. Safety, trust, and a happy environment are my top priorities!
“Antoinette was amazing with my cats! She was great at following the instructions given and communicating with me. She also provided pictures and videos which I greatly appreciated. Will definitely recommend her and will definitely book with her again in the future!”

“We are always apprehensive about leaving our dogs with a stranger but Chelsea was totally great with them. She got to know them at the meet and greet and kept us up to date every step of the way while we were away. We would definitely use Chelsea again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Oxford Circle
We highly recommend Mary Rose. We have a senior cat with hyperthyroidism, inflammatory bowel disorder, and asthma, so getting his medication right is extremely important. She handled his care with no problems at all and followed his medical routine with confidence and precision. Our cat is also quite shy with new people, but she was able to build a connection with him. We received plenty of photos showing him enjoying petting and grooming time, which was very reassuring while we were away. She also provided detailed daily reports that truly put our minds at ease. It is clear she has both a deep love for animals and strong knowledge of their care. We would not hesitate to book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate cat sitter.
JJ is trustworthy, reliable, and took excellent care of my two kitties while I was away for almost two weeks. She dropped in every day to ensure they had their daily wet food, scooped their litter, and kept sufficient dry kibble and water available to them. My home was kept neat and clean, and she brought in my mail each day. Most importantly, she is an animal lover herself so my boys had playtime on the sunny enclosed porch - their favorite space - and affection! My experience with JJ was very positive. She is a genuinely nice person and I will definitely use her services again whenever I travel. Thanks, JJ!
Rosabella was great! I received lots of pictures as part of my rover card each time she checked in on my cat, Roscoe. It was clear from the start that Roscoe was comfortable with her (both from our meet and greet prior to her check ins and in the pictures throughout her time with him). I had no doubt that he was well taken care of while I was away, which is major considering I am a worried cat parent and often need reassurance while away from my cat.

Deresha is great! Feel like I got lucky with her being available. She knows her way around dogs of all breeds and can handle any type trouble your dog may give some one. Trusted her more and more as time went on. You won’t regret hiring Deresha to take care of your little ones, she’s great and is even willing to meet you before you need services to make sure she’s a good fit for your mascots. Deresha is the best!
