About: I’ve taken care of big and small dogs starting at a young age. Neighbors have trusted me to walk, play, and sit their loving dogs. I take care of a 115lb dog of my own, but have cared for dogs all of sizes! I am energetic and love to play and give all attention to the dog as if it’s my own. I am compassionate but take the training of the dog into consideration. I love long and short walks to keep the dog in shape and healthy. I am an athlete on the weekends, so my schedule is tighter Saturday and Sunday. But all weekdays I am able to fit your needed hours for your dog into my flexible schedule. I can attend to any hours needed for the weekdays. You can expect reliability and accountability for my sitting. I have a fenced yard and one chocolate lab at home who loves to play. I love to play indoors or outdoors depending on weather. I can never stray away from taking a cat nap with an adorable dog and have plenty of dog beds for your animal.

About: I have two dogs myself so I will have to bounce back and forth but no pup will be alone long. I had my puppy girl Dottie for 15 years and spoiled her every day with love, snuggles, and most importantly treats. I will treat your pup just like mine! I am great with all dogs and I love every minute of it! Walks, fetch, and lots of cuddles are things I am well acquainted with. I'm open to any special requests like pill giving, baths, and anything else that might be needed to keep your pet happy and healthy. On more then one occasion a pup will see me from a good distance and after locking eyes poof there's belly! And of course I oblige and go rub that belly!! Let me know any routine things I should know or favorite toys or treats. I'm a big fan of using fruit as treats. My schedule is wide open. I work from home booking events for my family bar and just lost my pup of 15 years so I welcome all the pup love I can get. I have a fenced in yard and a wonderful pup that lives next door named Wilbur who never barks and welcomes play time running back and forth

“Lori is very caring! She was very accommodating last minute and I’m grateful for her time with my fur babe.”

About: I’m currently training to be a therapist so I have a keen sense for emotions… pets included! I’ve dog sat for family numerous times and am hoping to branch out. I love being around animals, am a very easy guest, and will happily send you any pictures of your pets! I have class 1-9pm on Monday and Wednesday but am mostly free otherwise! I get up early to swim twice a week (Fri and Sat), but can go straight back if needed. I don’t do much, so I’m pretty open! I’m willing to do whatever I can to help the pet feel safe and welcomed. Whether they want to play, rest, eat, or walk, I’m happy to help them out!

About: Hi, I’m Lineece and I can’t wait to meet you and your pup! I grew up with three dogs—Sheba, Midnight and Beck, and have 12+ years of dog-sitting experience. Beck passed away a few years ago and though I haven’t adopted any more dogs just yet, I decided to start pet-sitting in their memory. I also have experience fostering pups and love to care for all breeds and sizes. I take the time to get to know each one and then cater my care to suit their individual needs. I’m a twin mom by heart and soul, and an entrepreneur by trade. Pet-sitting on Rover allows me to not only spend time around my favorite beings, but it also helps me fund my career—a win-win for everyone! My job ensures that I’m home most of the day except for a few hours 3 to 4 times a week. After connecting with my clients and developing an understanding of their specific needs, I create a care plan that includes a healthy mix of exercise, sleep, play and food. Rest assured your pup is in great, loving hands I currently raise a beautiful set of twins, and work from home doing graphic design and crafting skincare products. I usually create my own schedule. I have a partially fenced yard, and plenty of indoor space. I can crate your fur baby if necessary, and my yard accommodates in ground rigging for roaming around outside, freely but in view.

About: Hi! My family & I are huge animal lovers! Anyone who knows us knows we love pets and prefer their company to most people. I will spoil your dog as if he/she is mine. I have had dogs in my life since I was a child. They bring so much joy and it’s a relief to know you can go away and not worry about their care. They will be in great hands with me and my teenager. We are both patient, easy going and calm. There will be no babies, small children, smoking, loud noises, or chaos. No need for a crate, unless they prefer one or, are a puppy in training. They may not want to leave after a stay at our house. I would love repeat visits. I work PT from home and have lots of spare time available to care for and play with your fur baby! My teenager is also a huge animal lover and will let your dog sleep in her bed, if your pet is used to that. I can stay at your home and care for your pets, plants, mail, etc. or care for your dog at our home, with a large fenced in yard. I also take dogs on walks around my neighborhood.

About: Hi, I’m Madison, and I treat every dog like family. As a lifelong animal lover with 12 years of experience, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. Whether your pup needs a midday energy boost or a calm walk with lots of sniff breaks, I tailor every walk to their needs. I’m reliable, communicative, and always focused on your dog’s safety and happiness. Let me help keep your best friend healthy, happy, and loved—while giving you peace of mind! I am a college student full-time, so I have pretty full availability for all of your lovely pups! If any scheduling problem, please contact me. When I care for pets in my client’s home, I treat their space and routine with the same respect and attention I would want for my own pet. I always follow the pet’s regular schedule—feeding, walks, potty breaks, and playtime—so they feel secure and happy. For dog walks, I ensure each walk is safe, fun, and tailored to your dog’s energy level. I use secure leashes, avoid unsafe areas, and always carry water and waste bags. I take time to get to know each dog’s personality, whether they love a high-energy walk or a relaxed sniff stroll. Communication is key—I send updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is simple: to keep your pet safe, healthy, and loved while you're away.

About: I'm a dog lover of all breeds, ages, and sizes. I'm that person who's always stopping people on the street to ask if I can pet their dogs, and always gets excited any time I come over to visit a friend who owns one, because it means getting some dog playtime. Though I don't currently own any myself, I went through the normal evolution of pet ownership for a few years as a kid - starting with fish and gradually moving up to hamsters and gerbils. My most prized and cherished pet, however, was a pug that I owned for 12 years, who was one of the sweetest, most loving animals I've ever known. She unfortunately had to be put down in 2015 when her physical issues started affecting her too much, but since then my love for dogs has only grown. I recently found myself in need of a new job, and it was my girlfriend who made the suggestion that I should give Rover a try, saying "think about it - you could get paid to play with dogs!". So here I find myself, eagerly looking forward to the new dog friends I'll hopefully be making along the way! Aside from being a huge dog lover, I'm also an actively gigging musician in the Baltimore music scene. Though I usually tend to be free during the day, my nights are often busy with shows, rehearsals, and writing sessions. I also sometimes play shows out of state and have a tour booked for later this year, which makes working a typical 9-5 job a challenge schedule-wise. However, I can definitely be very flexible during the daytime and will work as best I can with your schedule to fit your and your dog's needs, and can communicate any dates where I have show conflicts and such well in advance. I currently live in a townhouse in Severn, Maryland, but I'm used to driving all over the area, so distance isn't much of an issue for me. Unfortunately my complex does not allow pets, so I can't host any animals for overnight stays here, but I'd be happy to come to you!

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of pets—from dogs and cats to birds, reptiles, amphibians, and small mammals. I’ve raised everything from newborn puppies and kittens to exotic pets, and I understand how to meet each animal’s unique needs. I hold two bachelor’s degrees—one in Biology and one in Animal Behavior—which have deepened my understanding of pet health, behavior, and care. I also work from home full-time, giving me a flexible schedule and the ability to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. In addition to personal experience, I’ve worked in lab settings where I’ve handled animals professionally, used proper PPE, and administered injections—making me especially comfortable caring for pets with medical needs, like diabetes. Whether your pet needs a walk, a cuddle, a meal, or some special attention, I’m here to help them feel safe and loved while you’re away! Pet care is deeply woven into my daily routine. Working from home full-time allows me to give pets consistent care and attention throughout the day—whether it’s feeding, potty breaks, playtime, or just some extra love. I already have several pets of my own, so providing structured, attentive care is second nature to me. While I don’t currently offer pet care in my own home, I’m happy to provide care in my clients’ homes through house sitting, drop-in visits, and walks. I follow each pet’s routine closely to ensure they feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. With my background in animal behavior and biology, I’m attentive to both physical and emotional needs—whether that means sticking to a specific feeding schedule, administering medication, or simply providing companionship and enrichment. I treat every home and pet with the same respect and care I give my own.

About: Hello! My name is Emily, a professional petsitter and an acoustic folk musician who has been traveling and petsitting internationally. My partner, Jason, and I just bought a house in the Linover neighborhood in Nottingham in February 2024. During my work stays for my hosts in several different countries, I have cared for a variety of pets including dogs, cats, rabbit, chickens, cows, and fish. The philosophy I use in my petsitting business is to live within a gift economy model. The idea that makes this model work is that the more I give, the more the relationships can become very rich. This means that as a petsitter, I honor the homes I stay in as if they were my own. I serve the pets and pet owners as if I was offering gifts to my own family. OVERNIGHT CARE: A couple things for you to consider as you feel out if we’re a good match. At this time, I am only reserving overnight petsitting with clients who are comfortable with receiving from both me and Jason. Jason is also my music partner and so we work closely together. (jasonandemily dot com) I have found that having us both present during a pet sitting job offers the pets and pet owners the absolute very best care I can offer. On weekends, we have Jeremy, age 12, Jason's son. When he is invited to, he sometimes comes with us on overnight petsitting jobs, but it is never expected. (We bring our own bedding for him.) Jeremy is my little responsible partner on my petsitting jobs. At his mom's house he cares for 10 goats, 5 cats, a mini-horse and a pot-belly pig! In general, everyone in our family takes our petsitting business seriously and treats the homes and animals with high respect. In addition to my pet responsibilities, I also offer other housesitting services such as watering plants, picking up the mail, taking trash bins to the curb, etc. If you feel good about moving forward, I will be in touch with Jason and see how the dates work for him as well. As a musician, I bring my laptop and guitar/keyboard so I can be at your home with the animals almost 100% of the time you are gone. I love playtime and cuddle time. They are my priority when I am there. I absolutely love when pet owners have a list of details ready for me. I carefully read every word. Many pet owners write a whole "novel" of instructions and I absolutely love that. This list also includes your vets number for any emergency care needed.

About: Hello, my name is Kelvin. I am a father of four and have been taking care of dogs over half of my life. My first dog was a rescue dog named Athena. She was my German Shepherd and I loved her more than anything. I got her at 3 years old and she lived until she was 14. So needless to say I have plenty of experience. I am currently at home full time for dog sitting. Love taking long walks with dogs, and always willing for new companions to join the hike. I've taken care of friends pets in the past as well. Overnight stays and checking in on the dog in the owner's home. I'm all for it. If it involves a dog, let's do it! I’m currently working part time, so I Will have plenty of time to take care of your little friends and give all the love and care they need. Available 25-8 I have a fenced yard so plenty of room to run. Very quiet neighborhood with pets all around. Love taking long walks and giving the pet all the attention in the world.

About: I have always loved animals more than I love people. My experience caring for dogs spans over two decades. Your animals will get plenty of loves and cuddles (and probably too much spoiling) I work from home, so walks fit easily in the schedule. I am also able to work anywhere with an internet connection, so making sure I am available for anything needed is a breeze! Pets will be cared for by me in the same manner you care for them on your own. They cannot get on the couch? We will cuddle on the floor. Walks only on a certain route? You got it. In the end, consistency is key with animals, so you can ensure I will keep your routine.

About: With pets of my own, I know how important it is to make sure that they have the best love and care while you are away/busy. I have over 10+ years of pet care and handling experience, and have worked with a wide range of animals (house pets-farm animals). I have experience with senior and special needs pets, and I have no problem with multi-pet homes. I believe in taking the time to understand your pet and their needs to make them fully comfortable during our time together! 💙💙💙 I’m currently doing pet care full-time, and have plenty of flexibility with my schedule. I understand that some pets have strict routines due to medication administration/potty routines they rely on, and other pets are more versatile- I have no problem accommodating either kind and enjoy doing both! I like to ask questions or have a detailed outline of any safety concerns or particular way of caring for a pet. Each pet and owner are different, and I think tailoring each experience to fit the needs of the pet and owner provides the best results!

“Fatima was on time and so gentle and loving with our pets! She was friendly with the neighbors and I highly recommend her! Definitely will ask her again!”

About: My name is Kyla I am 25 years old. I have been taking care of animals my whole life. I have experience working at boarding facilities and veterinary medicine. Currently I am a veterinary assistant and have knowledge on medications, and experience with many different medical issues. I love photography so your pets will receive photoshoots during their walks!😊🐾 I’m on college break and I am working at a vet office part time, so i definitely need more animal time fit into my schedule!🫶🏽 I make sure to be very generous of the animals space as a lot of animals are protective and make sure they are as comfortable as possible!

“Emily's pet and house sit was a huge success! Both my 9 year old daughter and I loved meeting Emily and felt wonderful leaving our one year old Yorkipoo Asha with her. We were also super comfortable having her peacefully stay in our home. One of the things I appreciated the most was Emily's willingness to take the time to get to know our home and family in advance. She took the time for multiple phone calls and an extended cup of tea. It helped my daughter and I to feel more comfortable leaving Asha, knowing how caring and compassionate Emily seemed as a person. Emily's communication was extraordinary in all regards.
