“Ross and Sarah were great! Aries and Bella enjoyed their time with them. They stayed in contact throughout the booking sending updates and and multiple photos and videos a day which helped me enjoy my vacation knowing they were being taken such great care of.”

“Kennan and Kayleigh were great sitters for Copper while I was out of town. Copper suffers from severe anxiety especially during storms. Kennan was very patient with him and tried a variety of things to keep Copper calm. I was comforted knowing that he was in good hands while I was away.”

“We had such a wonderful experience with Scott, Ellen and all their kiddos! They took amazing care of Juniper, sent daily updates and pictures, and truly treated her like their own. The kids became Juniper’s best friends and were so kind and loving. We’re incredibly grateful for the care they gave her! We will definitely ask them to watch her again!”

“I was using the same sitter until she retired from rover. Found Marcia on the fly. From first contact, I felt comfortable with Marcia. Not only was she quick to respond to messages, she was very understanding and reassuring about any special care or requests that I had. Her home is clean and spacious enough for multiple pups. She has a couple of her own that make great play partners for any playful guests. Her fenced in back yard is the perfect play area! Marcia was welcoming at drop off and invited us in to get everyone settled. She kept in close communication during our trip and sent and abundance of photos and videos. By the time we returned for pick up, I could tell Luna felt at home and was having a great time playing with her new friends! Highly recommended!!!! I have found my replacement sitter!”
“Stephanie was a great sitter for SamE! She is quick with her communication, accommodating with her schedule, made sure our dogs were comfortable together, and kept me updated during SamE’s stay. I appreciate the care she provided and have already rebooked her.”

“Ro is the best!!! As soon as I met her I knew she was someone who genuinely loves dogs. She was communicative, flexible in our scheduling, kind, and sent lots updates about our dog with wonderful pictures that made it clear our pup was having the time of her life! I’d recommend her to anyone and will definitely have my dog stay with her again. Thanks Ro!”

“Rachel is a fantastic sitter. I can not express how thankful I am for her looking after my 17 yr old dog and 1 yr old cat. Both fur babies were so happy. She kept me posted about both of them. My Tom was so happy at her home, I can tell by his face. Thank you Rachel and your family looking after my fur babies”

“Kaitlyn was INCREDIBLE! I could not recommend her service enough. This was my first time leaving my baby for an extended amount of time and she was so great! She made me feel so comfortable and I was able to actually enjoy my trip, knowing Lowe was in the best hands! I received multiple updates each day, with pictures, and Lowe had the best time! She spends quality one-on-one time to get your pet comfortable, which she would not have gotten at a traditional boarder. Lots of outside time. I don’t think Lowe wanted to go home! I will absolutely be using Kaitlyn again, and you should too!”

“Tyra is absolutely amazing and I see why she has such glowing reviews! She sent frequent update pictures and it looked like our pups had the BEST time playing all week. Our pups came home after a week and they were happy and tired. Thank you so much, Tyra!”

“I have a large 11 month old puppy that has never been away from my side for more then a few hours so I was a bit worried about leaving her with anyone. Melany kept me updated on the 4 days I was gone and made sure to send me pictures. She took great care of my lily and we will definitely be using her again. Fenced in yard was good, the communication was good and the care was good. I couldn’t be happier !”

About: I grew up on a farm with 5 dogs. When I moved to the US, I got my own puppy (a golden retriever), and I trained her myself. I foster dogs and cats from nearby shelters. I always make sure to follow instructions for a seamless transition for your animal! I have a dog myself. When my family and I got her, I signed a contract to take care of her myself. She is now almost 8 years old, always full of joy and in great health. I love to play with dogs, and get them tired and ready to take a nap! I am ready to clean after dogs if needed (in the house and outside), and take care of them no matter their needs. I want you and your pet to feel taken care of.
“My wife and I cannot express enough gratitude for Jenna and Shane who watched our dog on such short notice. They stepped in last minute to help us out, allowing my wife and I to enjoy a much-needed week at the beach. Our dog returned home full of energy and joy, clearly having had a fantastic time playing with their dogs. The care and attention they provided were exceptional, and it's evident that our furry friend felt right at home. We highly recommend their services to anyone in need of a reliable, loving dog sitter. Thank you both for everything and we will absolutely be seeing you again!”

“Adriana is amazing! Our Yorkshire Terrier, Tessa, is a rescue and was recently put on anxiety medicine, so we were worried about how she would do away from us and her own home. She loved it!! Adriana sent us pictures as we requested and it was obvious that Tessa was in excellent, loving, knowledgeable hands. We will DEFINITELY take our baby to her again!”

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
94% of sitters in Ossipee can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Ossipee home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Ossipee.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

You and your Ossipee sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
