About: New to Rover.com but 10+ years of fostering over 400 babies for local shelters. They were all spoiled by the time they were ready for adoption. (No apologies for that 🙃) Your pet will be well cared for/spoiled while they visit! Love animals and miss fostering I did while in California. Your family member will be in caring hands who has years of experience with puppies and kittens who needed medication. I’m retired and have all the time in the world. 🤭 New home with half acre fenced yard. Have a very active border collie who wants a playmate. My animals have always had the run of the house but I can provide a crate if need be. If you need an extended period of time, let me know. My last foster was 6 months, from a local shelter and was here for over 2 months.

Now that I'm retired, I have time, knowledge and experience to share with others who need support for the care of their pets. A retired teacher who is home most of the time. I grew up with dogs in our house and was taught to treat them no less than family members, having said that, I need to confess I am the worst person when it comes to disciplining a dog, but if you have some simple rules for your canine companion, I will follow them. My own puppy is seven years old and he is a spoiled little one, but is a gentle and sweet young fellow, his sister is a quiet long haired kitty. I love them both so much. I am an artist and a student at IUSB, but I have plenty of time between classes for long walks and other quality care your pets deserve.
