“Alejandra is INCREDIBLE! We have never had such a positive experience with dog care, including professional boarding/pet hotel places. We were a little worried about finding a good spot for our two larger dogs with lots of energy, and this was perfect - they both came home SO happy and exhausted. She went above and beyond with sending us updates on them so that we could relax on our vacation knowing that they were being loved and taken care of. They got to play all day with other dogs (if they wanted), or just hang out with Alejandra and get some cuddles. I am so so grateful for the wonderful care that our dogs received in her home. Even more important - the dogs LOVE her!!! If I could give her six stars, I would. Our dogs can’t wait to stay with her again!”

About: New to Rover.com but 10+ years of fostering over 400 babies for local shelters. They were all spoiled by the time they were ready for adoption. (No apologies for that 🙃) Your pet will be well cared for/spoiled while they visit! I can take two dogs, for the safety of your pet(s) and mine, only if they are from the same household. Love animals and miss fostering I did while in California. Your family member will be in caring hands who has years of experience with puppies and kittens who needed medication. I’m retired and have all the time in the world. 🤭 I still foster and mark my calendar as unavailable when I have foster babies. You can always ask if there is room for one more. 😉 New home with half acre fenced yard. Have a very active border collie who wants a playmate. My animals have always had the run of the house but I can provide a crate if need be. If you need an extended period of time, let me know. My last foster was 6 months old, from a local shelter and was here for over 2 months.

About: Lifetime pet owners of cats and dogs alike, Maeve and Jason have shared decades of pet-sitting duties for friends and family and all that entails from crate training to medication administration. We have flexible schedules, reliable transportation with dog seatbelts, a large wrap around fully fenced-in yard, and several forested acres with private nature trails to share with your best friend. JIC, we have reliable transportation and are not far from Michiana Veterinary Hospital. We are also able to drive to your preferred vet.

However, the weather was extremely cold and my daughter and I wanted to go to the outlet mall but had no clue what to do with our pup. I reached out to Kiara and god a near immediate response. About: Hello, my name’s Anna. I have been taking care of dogs since I was 16. My family got a golden doodle several years ago and he has definitely been a joy and a task. Having a dog such as mine has made me more comfortable in my dog caring skills and fairly knowledgeable about what needs dogs have. I’m also very well equipped to handle puppies as I recently got a cocker spaniel several months ago. But given that, my passion for dogs continues to grow. I now as an independent adult have 2 dogs who I’ve had the pleasure of raising as puppies to where they are at now. I work full time but like to stay active and adding furry friends to the mix on my days off is no big task. I would love to see more dog friends and help them socialize and make someone’s life easier. I don’t have a fenced in back yard, but I am capable of taking dogs on as many walks as needed. I am also capable of putting dogs in a crate and preparing them for crating as long as needed.

I’d send you videos and or pictures of your fur baby. Some owners have their fur babies on a schedule if so I will do the same. if there is a park nearby I’d probably take them there. But first I would ask the owner what they would like me to do sense it is their pet. I'm retired so I'm flexible. My routine is the fur babies routine. I'd like to keep it that way for them, so I would need to know. I have a fenced in yard, not big for big dogs tho. They will be fed, played with and cuddled. If they need to be caged I have a large one for their comfort.

I have two dogs of my own aged 5 and 4, so I know how important it is to have someone trustworthy and caring to watch your pets when needed! I have watched dogs ranging from full grown german shepherds to small puppies. I volunteered at my local animal shelter, Pet Refuge, five years ago and discovered my passion for animals! I have experience with caring for numerous sizes, ages, and breeds of dogs through both my past volunteer experience and my work here through Rover over the past 4 years. These dogs include pit bulls, golden retrievers, australian shepherds, poodles and doodles, labs, chihuahuas, beagles, bulldogs, terriers, and many mixes in between. My experience includes walking, feeding, giving oral medicine, and knowledge of the various traits and behaviors of dogs. Outside of my Rover schedule I stay at home with my own two dogs and two kitties! As I previously stated, I have a few pets of my own, so I know how important it is to find someone trustworthy and honest. Communication is key for my care and I am always updating, asking questions, and communicating with the parent while I care for their pet. Who doesn’t love lots of updates? I go with your pets pace, so if it’s a puppy full of energy we’ll be sure to play a lot - but if you have a senior who likes to relax, we will! Whatever your dogs (or cats) needs are I am there to fulfill them!
About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs and cats since my sophomore year in high school! I’ve never had an issue with a pet and love being able to help :) I’m currently on my summer break so I would like my availability to be Monday- Friday and I can make exceptions on weekends for emergencies :) I have a fenced in yard but prefer to care for your pet in the comfort of your own home as I think that makes meeting and interacting with your pet much easier and comfortable!

“Alejandra is INCREDIBLE! We have never had such a positive experience with dog care, including professional boarding/pet hotel places. We were a little worried about finding a good spot for our two larger dogs with lots of energy, and this was perfect - they both came home SO happy and exhausted. She went above and beyond with sending us updates on them so that we could relax on our vacation knowing that they were being loved and taken care of. They got to play all day with other dogs (if they wanted), or just hang out with Alejandra and get some cuddles. I am so so grateful for the wonderful care that our dogs received in her home. Even more important - the dogs LOVE her!!! If I could give her six stars, I would. Our dogs can’t wait to stay with her again!”

About: I have always grew up around dogs in my home and friends, family home. My grandma used to foster dogs and she taught me a lot I know about them including but not limited to administering shots and medications. I currently work full-time. However, the dog door and fenced in yard allows your dog to be out and roam freely while I am away. I am also okay to crate your dog if that is what you would prefer. When I get home it's usually clean, play, and dinner time. As the night goes on its movies and cuddles. I have a fenced in yard and a doggy door to let your dog(s) run around outside and play during the day freely as wanted. I love to take walks in the nice weather with the dogs and play fetch out in the yard. I have an indoor camera and outdoors cameras to keep eyes when I'm not home.
About: Hi there!! I love both dogs and cats, and look forward to taking care of them. I've had many pets growing up. Habló Español también. As of right now I am available and flexible on time as school is out. I have been trying to find a second job, and would much rather prefer this to be my 2nd job as I enjoy going on runs with my dog and hanging out with my furbabies (I also have 2 cats). Why not make money while having fun and meeting new furbabies? I live near downtown Elkhart (heading towards Bristol). I live in a very safe and quiet neighborhood where there is plenty of space to walk, run, and enjoy a large field of grass (if allowed to be off leash).
