I promise I'll ensure your pets are not only safe but happy! Please note that I don't accept German Shepherds under 3 years old or Huskies. I have Silence Unknown Callers on, so please be sure to specifically text me about stuff! I can let your dog out to a fenced-in yard on a very consistent basis. I’m starting to work third shift, but my parents are first shift. I have a fenced-in yard, very friendly dog, and three cats to keep your pets entertained and exercising. Whether or not your dog is good with cats, ours will actively avoid the dogs anyway - just so long as your dogs aren’t actively violent towards them.

I have dogs as my pet now and I used to pet cats before, so I don't mind taking care of cats :) I've been with puppies, aging dogs, and disabled dogs. I like teaching some tricks for them! About: I’ve taken care of cats my whole lives but my aunt loves it when I take care of her dog and says I’m so good with him. I’m not currently working so I will have plenty of time to love on animals while you are away like they are my own animal. About: New to Rover.com but 10+ years of fostering over 400 babies for local shelters. They were all spoiled by the time they were ready for adoption. (No apologies for that 🙃) Your pet will be well cared for/spoiled while they visit! I can take two dogs, for the safety of your pet(s) and mine, only if they are from the same household. Love animals and miss fostering I did while in California. Your family member will be in caring hands who has years of experience with puppies and kittens who needed medication. I’m retired and have all the time in the world. 🤭 I still foster and mark my calendar as unavailable when I have foster babies. You can always ask if there is room for one more. 😉 New home with half acre fenced yard. Have a very active border collie who wants a playmate. About: I have three pups. I've fostered for different rescues in the area and can provide references upon request. We've had every type of pup here and haven't ever had to turn one away. I only work about 20 hours a week so I'm home often to love on your pups. I have a completely fenced in backyard and dog doors so your pups can have freedom to play and potty when they need My pup is Ollie, a yellow lab born around 2014. He was a rescue from Homeward Bound animal shelter and is the best boy! Paddy (Padfoot), my Labradooodle was born around 2021 and has such a sweet disposition! About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life. I’ve potty trained them, taught them how to walk with a leash, taught them tricks like sit stay and say your prayers, and too many to say. About: I have always grew up around dogs in my home and friends, family home. My grandma used to foster dogs and she taught me a lot I know about them including but not limited to administering shots and medications. I currently work full-time. However, the dog door and fenced in yard allows your dog to be out and roam freely while I am away. I am also okay to crate your dog if that is what you would prefer. When I get home it's usually clean, play, and dinner time. As the night goes on its movies and cuddles. I have a fenced in yard and a doggy door to let your dog(s) run around outside and play during the day freely as wanted. I love to take walks in the nice weather with the dogs and play fetch out in the yard. I have an indoor camera and outdoors cameras to keep eyes when I'm not home.

About: Hello everyone! Thank you for considering me to take care of your furbabies! I have two dogs of my own aged 5 and 4, so I know how important it is to have someone trustworthy and caring to watch your pets when needed! I have watched dogs ranging from full grown german shepherds to small puppies. I volunteered at my local animal shelter, Pet Refuge, five years ago and discovered my passion for animals! I have experience with caring for numerous sizes, ages, and breeds of dogs through both my past volunteer experience and my work here through Rover over the past 4 years. These dogs include pit bulls, golden retrievers, australian shepherds, poodles and doodles, labs, chihuahuas, beagles, bulldogs, terriers, and many mixes in between. My experience includes walking, feeding, giving oral medicine, and knowledge of the various traits and behaviors of dogs. I have learned many skills on how to interact with dogs and how to read their body language. I have been so fortunate to expand further on all of these skills through my own work full-time here on Rover with my daily clients, as well as my every-once-in-awhile pet pals that just need someone when their parents go on vacation! I also had a childhood cat who lived to be 18 years old, and adopted two kittens last year who just recently turned one! Therefore, I do have experience with cat duties as well including litter box cleaning and feeding. I love working with animals. I am currently pet-sitting full time in hopes to one day create my own business and expand! Every dog sitting job is different but I would say an average day would look like letting the dogs out first thing in the morning and refilling water and the food bowl if necessary. Then, I'll take them for a walk and play with them, let them outside midday, play with them some more, give them a few treats to see what kind of tricks they can do, probably lots of belly rubs in between, and then feed them dinner and water. Lastly, I would take them outside right before we go to bed.

She usually takes a while to warm up to new people but met heather the first day and loved her. My oldest girl Nana is a big love bug so she of course had to be all over her the first day she met her. Heather made the process of trusting someone other than myself to love and care for my babies as I would a very easy and stressless process. She accommodated all the special needs of my girls, checked in frequently, and answered any questions I had. She was very flexible with her schedule when a change of walking time was needed. About: Hello, my name’s Anna. I have been taking care of dogs since I was 26. My family got a golden doodle several years ago and he has definitely been a joy and a task. Having a dog such as mine has made me more comfortable in my dog caring skills and fairly knowledgeable about what needs dogs have. I’m also very well equipped to handle puppies as I recently got a cocker spaniel several months ago. But given that, my passion for dogs continues to grow. I now as an independent adult have 2 dogs who I’ve had the pleasure of raising as puppies to where they are at now. I work full time but like to stay active and adding furry friends to the mix on my days off is no big task. I would love to see more dog friends and help them socialize and make someone’s life easier. I don’t have a fenced in back yard, but I am capable of taking dogs on as many walks as needed. I am also capable of putting dogs in a crate and preparing them for crating as long as needed.

Dogs bring so much joy and happiness to our lives, and I love contributing to that, being part of their lives, and giving back all the love they give us! I have years of experience of professional pet sitting/boarding/dog walking in addition to volunteering at various animal shelters. I’m well-versed in obedience and leash training, and am a skilled practitioner of positive reinforcement methods. I enjoy walking a variety of dogs - all breeds, ages, temperaments, personalities, shapes, and sizes - to continuously learn about, and deepen my understanding of canine behavior. I'm also well acquainted with the gamut of leashes, collars, and harnesses out there, and have experience leash training dogs of all ages. On walks, we will bond, learn, communicate, exercise, explore, and always have lots of fun! I always like to schedule a meet-and-greet when taking on a new client, because it’s a great opportunity for us to meet and make sure we are all a good fit for one another. When I meet a dog for the first time, I bring treats (always being mindful to check with the owner about allergies first, of course). Reading the dog’s body language and behavior, I adapt to whatever makes them most comfortable, communicating that I’m happy to be the new best friend! I like getting as much information on each canine client before caring for them – anything and everything from what they love to do, what their favorite toy is, to dietary needs/restrictions and overall personality. The more I know, the better! I don’t prefer any breed preferences; I love them all! During our time together, I treat every pet as if they were my own. Providing high-quality care fueled by my love for animals is the name of my game, so I take to heart the responsibility of keeping pets happy and healthy. I pride myself on providing loving, patient, and professional care that caters to each dog's unique personality, specific needs, and favorite activities. Trust- I am happy to provide frequent updates and photo updates to give you peace of mind while you are away. Environment- We keep our apartment clean and tidy and pet friendly. We always have water out and will make sure the cat’s food is up high so the dog can’t eat it. About: I have always grew up around dogs in my home and friends, family home. My grandma used to foster dogs and she taught me a lot I know about them including but not limited to administering shots and medications. I currently work full-time. However, the dog door and fenced in yard allows your dog to be out and roam freely while I am away. I am also okay to crate your dog if that is what you would prefer. When I get home it's usually clean, play, and dinner time. As the night goes on its movies and cuddles. I have a fenced in yard and a doggy door to let your dog(s) run around outside and play during the day freely as wanted. I love to take walks in the nice weather with the dogs and play fetch out in the yard. I have an indoor camera and outdoors cameras to keep eyes when I'm not home.

“My last pet sitter canceled last minute and everything went to crap as my cat pepper "drama king screaming demon" needs medicine for his stomach and anxiety in his old age. Sonny took my black fur ball of rage and distrust and made sure he had his medicine and space as pepper can be a bit "much" she gave lots of pictures and updates and was available within 2 days of booking which I desperately needed. She also worked with me as my family trip had gotten derailed when our car broke down and was willing to watch him for a bit longer as we figured out how to get home. She builds a great rapport and I can tell her own animals adore her and are VERY well socialized. Her kitten peaches ran up to me wanting to say hi and her dog ham was not aggressive in the least meeting me for the first time, he just wanted pats!”
