About: With 14 animals of my own and over 5 years of pet sitting experience, I truly understand every pet’s unique needs. I’m patient, dependable, and treat every animal like family. Whether it’s cuddles, playtime, or specialized care, your pet will feel right at home with me. What sets me apart is my deep, hands-on knowledge of animal behavior and genuine passion for giving pets the love and attention they deserve. I currently don’t work anywhere else which gives me plenty of time in the mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends to focus on pet care. Since animals are a huge part of my life already, caring for pets naturally fits into my daily routine. Whether it’s evening walks, weekend stays, or afternoon check-ins, I’m flexible and committed to making sure your pet feels loved and well-cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always respect their space and routines. I make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I follow all instructions carefully—whether it’s feeding, walks, medications, or playtime—and keep things clean and calm. My goal is to make your pet feel like you’re still there, providing peace of mind for both of you.
About: I’ve had dogs in my life for many years, and I’ve also helped care for my aunt’s dogs, who she groomed professionally. My patient and gentle nature allows me to connect with dogs of all personalities — from energetic pups to shy or nervous ones. I’m attentive to routines, whether it’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or basic training reinforcement. I follow instructions closely and am happy to help with commands, leash manners, or gentle encouragement for anxious dogs. Most importantly, I treat every dog as if they were my own — with kindness, respect, and plenty of love, so they feel safe and happy while you’re away. Pet care is an important part of my daily life, and I make sure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and love they need. I plan walks, visits, and playtime around your pet’s routine, and I’m attentive to feeding schedules, medication, and enrichment activities. I’m available most days after 3 PM, and all day on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I’m happy to work with your schedule and can adjust for regular visits or last-minute needs whenever possible, ensuring your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I provide loving, attentive care in your pet’s own home, following your routines and instructions closely. I offer walks, playtime, enrichment, and medication if needed, making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.

“Delanie is so sweet and was an instant connection with our sweet boy! She's very affectionate with him and takes great care of him! We appreciate her knowing we don't have to worry about him while we're out!”

About: I absolutely adore spending time with dogs and giving them the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve while their families are away. Whether it’s energetic daily walks, playful park adventures, or calm drop-ins with plenty of belly rubs and treats, I make sure every pup feels happy, safe, and loved. With my flexible schedule as an Audiologist Assistant and Pilates instructor-in-training, I’m often available for morning, midday, or evening walks and can accommodate last-minute needs. I’m experienced with dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels (including seniors and high-energy pups), and I’m comfortable with basic medications, special diets, or following any custom routines your dog needs. Pet parents can count on me for frequent photo and text updates so you never miss a moment. Safety is my top priority — I always use secure leashes, check for hazards, and follow your instructions to the letter. I’m a mom to a sweet little girl and believe in treating every pet like part of the family. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, enthusiastic dog walker who will give your furry friend the best care possible, I’d love to meet you and your pup!

About: I have loved animals from a very young age, convincing my parents to get me my own dog when I was 10 years old. Her name was Zoey! I trained her myself, and she was my best friend. Not long after that, I began dog sitting for friends and eventually also spent time cat sitting and taking care of animals like chickens and bunnies. I adore pets of all shapes and sizes, and I understand entirely the immense value they have in our lives. I want nothing more than to make you feel safe allowing me to care for your best friends. I am occupied from 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday, but I am free most weekends and available to care for pets in the evenings. I make sure all animals are well fed and watered as fits their schedule. Also, I understand the importance of activity and quality time and make sure to play with them, take them on regular walks, and give them lots of love.
“Jessica was extremely nice, respectful, and was welcomed in my home. I have a hard time A. Leaving my pets with others and B. Letting people into my home. But Jessica did everything that made me feel so comfortable and reassured that my pet was taken care of well. Highly recommend and I intend to book again.”

About: There has never been a time when A fury friend wasn't by my side! I have experience in different doggo personalities and struggles. I live with 4 fur kids, A Black lab who has some anxiety, A class clown golden doodle, and an old man chihuahua with Gimpy legs. Oh and can't forget the illusive Orange cat! As a fellow pet parent I understand the different needs and desires of each pet. Currently Unemployed so I have plenty of time to care and play with your pets as much as you want for them. My only "line of work" is my crochet business run by me. Our four pets have a fenced in yarn they play in and while I am not currently taking other pets in for boarding right now, our pets are well taken care of just like your will be.
“Emily did an amazing job watching my two cats! She gave thorough and fun updates and I knew my kitties were safe and having fun. My cats as specific diets and she was great with them and was communicative throughout”

“Molly was great! My cat is very shy with newcomers. I fully expected her to not come out when Molly visited but my cat immediately warmed up to her. It felt great to know that my cat was having fun and getting her daily cuddles when I was away. I also loved how Molly would send pictures after every visit. I would definitely recommend Molly.”

“Brittany was so friendly and caring with Boo Kitty. She came as scheduled and took care of feeding and cleaning litter boxes as well as spending a little time with Boo Kitty. I loved the pictures she took and sent to me. She did a great job and I highly recommend Brittany, she is our go to cat sitter.”
“This was a first time visit and she took time to meet with us beforehand. She sent texts of our elderly cat on both days that she visited. I appreciate her prompt responses to let us know all is well.”

About: I've had a love for dogs since I was a little kid! My parents have always had a dog that I helped take care of. I am now 36 years old and live with my husband and our 3 dogs, Lexi, Alfie and our newest rescue Gretchen Wieners. :) They get a lot of love and I am looking to spread the love even more! I love little dogs and would love to meet yours and take him or her for a little walk or make sure they are taken care of while you're away! I currently work from home so I am home a lot of the time and able to take breaks to walk dogs, play with them, let them out often, and give cuddles! I am available most of the time with my current schedule. I'd love to help you care for your best friend! Message me if you have any questions. :) I work from home with a flexible schedule so I can pop by to check on your pet! I love going for walks but would prefer to walk smaller or medium dogs. I have three dogs that are very loved and cared for. I have a large yard that is fenced in and lots of toys and treats to share!
About: As a previous Assistant Manager at Pet Supplies Plus, I have a vast range of experience regarding animal care from dogs to ferrets to chameleons! Although Rover is something I’m looking to do on the side, pet care and education is something I’m very passionate about throughout my everyday career. Working at Leader Dog, I have gained the knowledge and experience to observe and assess a dogs mental state through body language and stress signals.
“Autumn has cared for our precious fur baby Ghost for 3 straight weeks, while I am on Florida for an extended stay. Each week Autumn has taken "Excellent " care of Ghost, which why I am very happy she has agreed on a fourth week to care for him. Autumn loves animals! Her care has "Exceeded Our Expectations "! We are so very Grateful to her!”

About: What sets me apart is the level of consistency, structure, and communication I provide. I’m very detail-oriented and take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I understand that pets thrive on predictability, so I prioritize keeping their normal schedule as much as possible. I also provide regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I’m currently working full time but don’t have a typical 9-5 job. I’m available for morning, mid-day, and evening care depending on the day or service requested. I’m organized, reliable, and plan my schedule intentionally so pets receive consistent attention, walks, feeding times, and play. I’m especially mindful of sticking to established routines. I enjoy building pet care into my day rather than squeezing it in, so pets never feel rushed or overlooked. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my approach is the same: safety, routine, and affection. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and preferred routines. I keep environments clean, calm, and pet-friendly, and I always make sure pets have plenty of attention, play, and rest. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure everything is left just as I found it. My goal is for pets to feel secure and for owners to feel complete peace of mind. I also have a Shih Tzu of my own who is 5!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Ortonville
Daisy as usual went over and above expectations. She exercised Henry with a morning walk and play session everyday. Played fetch, and tug of war and even provided him with new toys and a cupcake. When Daisy arrived on day two our door handle button broke and she could not get in. Daisy didnt flinch she immediately reached out and informed us and was able to use an alternate entry point. Daisy listens and takes notes on special request and instructions. She has a unique ability to capture amazing photos of our pup as well. We would without hesitation reccommend Daisy to others.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Silver is truly phenomenal! She combines excellent communication, patience, and reliability with a warm and caring approach that made me feel completely at ease leaving my two Akitas in her care. She kept me updated throughout my trip, and I could see how comfortable and well-loved my dogs were with her. I’m so grateful to have found someone so trustworthy, and I’ll definitely be reaching out to her again in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
