About: I’ve had all kinds of pets, including dogs, cats, lizards, hamsters, and more. I’m not allowed to have any pets where I live now, so I have endless patience for everyone else’s pets. I miss having animals in my life so I’m grateful for the chance to keep your pets happy while you’re away! My schedule is very flexible. I work from home so I can go to clients’ homes and stay with pets for a couple hours or stop by a few times a day. I’m also available most weekends. I’m unable to care for pets in my home but at clients’ homes I plan to follow all their rules and spend as much time playing outside with dogs and playing inside with other animals as possible.

About: I have two rescue dogs. Their personalities are opposite as night and day. One is very energetic and the other is a couch potato! Whether you have a high energy pup or calm one, your dog will find a friend here. My energetic pup knows when to stop playing if it’s not reciprocated in the first 15 minutes. I have a giant playpen and crate for dogs who need their alone time or is required by the parents. Those doors are always open. No need to bring yours. I separate all dogs while eating and let them out when they’re done. We mostly stay in the living room watching tv or outside. I have grown up with labs, chihuahuas and pit bulls. I have been dog/cat sitting for years for family and friends. I am fairly new to Rover. My fur family enjoys hiking and going to the park. We walk the neighborhood for 2 hrs a day. I am comfortable giving medicine. My dogs are my children and I take care of other animals like their mine. I worked as a manager for large department stores so I am very dependable and responsible. Thank you for your interest in me! I am currently working part time. My job is flexible. However, if you’ve booked me less than 48 hrs, we will have to agree on a good time for a drop off. I am able to be present with my animals majority of the day. If you request to board, make sure you bring everything your dog needs for a successful stay. Appropriate size collars/harness, training pads, etc. If your dog is an escape artist or doesn’t walk on a leash well, disclose that to me. So I can prepare myself before each walk and not be caught off guard. I also provide a quiet relaxing space for dogs. If your dog barks excessively and not the casual barking here and there, I would not be able to babysit them. Feel free to reach out to me at any time. I will do the same if there’s a question I’m not sure of.

About: My passion of caring for animals began well over a decade ago, when I started volunteering for local shelters and organizations in middle school. Since then, I've continued to grow my experience in pet care - whether through volunteer work or pet sitting - and have built great relationships with many local pet owners since. Very flexible schedule - weekdays and weekends! I am currently available mornings, afternoons, and evenings for check-ins, walks, feeding + water refills, etc. Let me know how I can help! About: I've taken care of animals my whole life. Growing up I had many different types of animals and we also took care of a cat colony. I've dog sat and walked dogs for a few years and have a lot of experience with many different breeds and sizes. I'm also a huge cat lover so those toe beans will be taken care of! I have a lot of time to do pet care as I do it as my primary work and especially because it's my passion. I am very flexible I do not do services in my own home. However I am very routine oriented so whatever routine I need to follow I do exactly. Of course play time and possible training is always part of my care.

I’ve personally trained my own puppy to know all the basic commands and pass the STAR puppy test and she is currently working on becoming a therapy dog. I also have one cat that I love dearly. About: I've watched, walked and cared for numerous dogs and cats belonging to friends, relatives and neighbors throughout the years. I've volunteered with the Humane Society walking dogs of all breads large and small, young and old. I also have some experience walking special needs deaf dogs. Working with the Humane Society provided training above and beyond just checking on others pets. I will love your pets as if they were my own. I currently have a Chihuahua and a maine coon mix cat both of which are rescues. I grew up always having a cat or a dog and sometimes both. All of my pets have either been rescues I've personally helped to rescue or I have adopted from a shelter. Your home and fur babies will be in caring hands. I will send you daily pictures and updates to ease your mind. I love to get pictures of my fur babies when I'm away and I'm sure you would appreciate that as well. I work Full time and am off on the weekends and Mondays. I'm comfortable taking on a few walks and or home check-ins during my days off. I will not do late night walks for your pets safety as well as mine. I'm a very trustworthy and responsible individual who loves animals. Your pets security and trust is of the upmost importance to me. I will bring treats and water for dogs during their sniff Safari walks. For home check-ins I will feed, water, entertain and offer lots of love. I will follow any instructions given and am comfortable administering most medications your dog or cat may need. I will also scoop or clean a litter box if needed and pickup any potty mess in the yard when taking your dog out.

About: Ever since I was little, my family had dogs in the house, so was raised and learned how to take care of them. A couple years ago we got a puppy and I helped train him, and he truly is the best. I have some years of experience taking care of dogs and love to help with others when I can. I’m currently a full time employee, but on weekdays our lunch break is from 12-2. 2 hours is a perfect amount of time to walk dogs and play with so many pups!! I don’t work on the weekends so have plenty of time!! I get home at a decent hour so would have plenty of time to play and take them out for the night. For boarding I am free on the weekends and have time to come home on the weekdays because my place of work is 2 minutes from my apartment I live in an apartment, but there is a dog park on the property and plenty of grass and walkways to get our walks and potty breaks taken care of. I personally don’t have any other pets, if they feel more comfortable just them. Can make many friends though at the park.

About: Hi there! My name is Kate and my husband's name is Josh. We have both been pet owners our entire lives and absolutely love caring for other pets as well as our own 3 (G + Sadie + Toby — Chihuahua Mix + Rat Terrier + Jack Russel Terrier). We own a home in Jacksonville just off 295 on the west side with a large fenced-in backyard and quiet neighborhood. So lots of walking, running around and play time if you were to have your pet stay here with us and our 3 pups! Our babies are typically social but at the very least tolerant of other dogs as long as the dog is not too hyper or trying to mess with them. My husband and I both work from home so your baby(s) will get non stop attention. We only board small to medium size dogs (less than 30 pounds, some exceptions - feel free to ask). Your dog(s) must get along with other dogs or at least tolerate them. All dogs are separated at feeding times. We are used to serving regular dry, wet, mixtures, raw foods, and administering medications including injectables. With our flexible schedule, we will have plenty of time to walk, play and/or love your pet(s). Our home is extremely safe and doors are always locked (even when we are home). Our neighbors are all extremely nice. Our dogs typically lay on the couch, in their dog beds in our office or on our bed. All get lots of love, pets and treats every day 🙂

“Jamie made my first Rover experience such a breeze! It honestly went better than I could’ve imagined. Not only was she great at communicating quickly, but she provided photos and updates constantly. She met my dog’s specific needs and also mine as well. I really felt my dog was in such great care. From miles away being able to see constant updates about my dogs visits was just awesome. She definitely did a great job at dealing with my dogs energy and playfully personality which can be a lot for some. She’s great with understanding animals personalities and definitely has that pet whisper thing going. I completely trust her with not only having access to my animal, but my place as well. There was a bit of a fruit fly situation in my apartment while I was away on business and she took it upon herself to help with the situation. She also did a great job with setting up a date and time in handing off my apartment keys to someone else since I wasn’t going to be home to personally get them from her. About: As long as I can remember, I have had a pet or helped care for others' pets. I have worked as a foster pet parent for two nonprofits. I currently work weekdays with a very flexible schedule. My partner is finishing school with online classes and is home throughout the day most days. Each morning the first thing we do is check on our pets and pets in our care. I love starting their day with exercise if they're up for it with fetch, chase, or a walk. My dog is fed twice a day and kept in a separate area from our rescue cat who mostly stays in my daughters room. I am exceptionally skilled at socializing animals and helping them stay comfortable, which can mean sectioning off areas of the home for different pet friends if needed. If it's a cat you need watched, I love getting cats feeling comfortable by being patient and using toys or treats that you approve of to help bring out their inner kitten. I have a fenced yard for dogs to use, including toys, dirt to dig in with no guilt, and an extra large water dish. We never lock dogs outside and they have easy access back inside whenever they want. I collect leashes for long walks and love the kind of bonding I can get with a one on one walk. If your pet needs extra exercise, I have you covered! The highlight of my day is walking my dogs or dogs in my care. I work together with my partner to make sure someone is always home with pets. My schedule changes, but I will only show availability for boarding if someone will be home at all times. We like dogs to feel at home, so we set up the house and yard to be safe for pets. I am mostly doing reading or computer work at home, and many guest dogs simply snuggle on my lap or next to me while I work, being well worn out from walks or yard time. I love walking dogs but I know some dogs prefer off leash yard time. I really try to get to know your pets and what makes them happiest.

About: I have had pets my entire life. Dogs, cats, fish, turtles, hamsters and even a rooster. Currently I have two small dogs and three cats. My animals mean the world to me and I know yours are important to you as well. I will do my best to make sure they are well cared for and also make sure your home is secure. I am fully retired which gives me a very flexible and open schedule. I have a lot of free time that I am trying to fill up. Bringing some joy and comfort to your pet's lonely day while you are away would be a great way to spend that extra free time I have :) I have two dogs and three cats. They are friendly to other dogs if yours needs to stay with me for short term periods. I have a fenced in yard but all my pets stay in the house as would yours. When I visit your home, I will make sure everything seems the way it should be and alert you if something doesn't seem right.
