“Jennifer is always on time and sends pictures of the pups with updates. I like how she responds instantly as well. I can tell the pups enjoy their walks when we come home from work. Thank you Jennifer for what you do!”

“I needed help walking my dogs due to a busy schedule, and I’m so glad I found Kayla. After meeting her last week, she has walked my dogs a couple of times and has done an excellent job. She’s very easy to communicate with, always prompt, and consistently shows up right on schedule. Most importantly, my dogs absolutely love her. I highly recommend Kayla to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker. I’ll definitely be using her in the future, especially while I’m on vacation.”

About: I’ve had numerous experiences with all kinds of animals. I’m a Retired RN and can give injections/meds to your sick/senior babies. I have lots of time to spend taking care of your babies. I retired this year and that allows me to be available 24/7. Also weekends and holidays are not a problem. Medical Care not an issue. I am available to stay overnight in your home if needed. I currently have 2 cats both Seniors and 2 dogs. I spoil them rotten as they should be.

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 11 years old and have experience with pets of all ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs. I’ve assisted with whelping litters, ensuring each puppy gained weight appropriately, met all nutritional requirements, and received attentive care during their earliest stages of life. I also helped with early potty training, socialization, and sensory enrichment to support healthy development. In addition, I have experience caring for elderly pets by providing gentle, patient care, administering medications when needed, monitoring their comfort, and adapting to their changing needs. I treat every animal as if they were my own and pride myself on providing reliable, compassionate, and attentive care. I am a stay at home dog and cat mom so I’m available any time and any day to look after your fur babies when needed. I am more comfortable with taking care of your fur babies from your home just because I do have a senior Great Dane who is not the friendliest toward other doggies.
About: I have had all kinds of pets that have touched my heart. I would love to meet your fur babies, and give all my love and attention they deserve! I took online courses with Harcourtt certifification program, becoming a veterinary assistant in 20001. I worked with the developmentally disabled for 10 years...but love the field of veterinary care also. My counseling skills enhance my abilities to recognize and diffuse anxiety or behavioral issues. 4 out of 5 doggies agree, l speak doggie talk rather fluently! 😁 l only give 'distilled' water...doggies just enjoy the fresh, clean taste, but their mom and dads can enjoy the fact that it is free of toxins! ☺ Doggie guests may enjoy eating meal(s) on backyard patio, as warm summer days are ahead! 🕯 💦 🍲 Car rides and Calitche's 🐶 🍦 are a favorite and a 'must' experience! 😋...had 2 chihuahua mix doggies and have a wire -haired fox terrier mix. Max- and Rocket (l called Rocket, my Wal-Mart roll back special, as that's where we met..).Both Rocket and Max lived happily with me for 18 years! I had to say so long (never good-bye) to my fur babies last year when they crossed over that 🌈🌉. I miss them and keep them in my heart, and know l will see them again! 😇 😇 and my wire haired fox terrier Is my bestie/diva/business partner and an all around good boy!! ♥ 🐾 I realize it's stressful to rely on a stranger to care for your pups, but l assure you,l will provide a va-cay stay to rival mom and dad's! 😎 l will help by contacting you to let you know how your babies are doing, what they did, and any changes and overall mood level for each day, with daily pics, at same time every evening. . If interested, please contact me, and l'll give you more information on my skills. Thank you for your interest:) ♥ 🐾 I am a retired counselor. And have lots of extra time to care for your Furry Babies. My priority is now taking care of my fur baby, Benji. 🐾 I will show your fur babies all the love and attention I give to my Benji. He is not a jealous boy. Not territorial. But very outgoing and excited to make new friends. If I am sitting in your home, I will show it the same respect and care that I do my own. I have reviews from 2019 that show care and attention to details in following instructions for security concerns as well as taking Special Care of dogs with physical or emotional needs

“Allison has been my dog walker for over two months, and I couldn't be happier! She comes three days a week, and my dog absolutely loves her. He gets so excited when he sees her and will actually wait by the front door when he knows she is coming. It’s clear that he has formed a special bond with her, which gives me so much peace of mind while I’m away. She is also incredibly dependable and caring. She has been wonderful about giving him his medication when needed and always treats him with patience and kindness. I truly appreciate knowing that he is not only getting his walks but also getting lots of love and attention while I’m gone. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, reliable, and genuinely caring to take care of their pets. I am so lucky to have found her! 🐾❤️”

About: For as long as I can remember, I have always had a pet. Animals have been a constant part of my life, and I have committed myself to taking care of them and I truly enjoy it . Growing up surrounded by pets has given me a deep appreciation for animals and inspired me to gain as much hands-on experience as possible in animal care. I have volunteered with several animal organizations, including APA (Action Program for Animals), where I primarily provided dog socialization and took dogs on walks. Through this experience, I became comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and gained valuable experience working with larger breeds as well as reactive dogs, allowing me to provide patient, safe, and compassionate care tailored to each pet's individual needs. I have also volunteered with CCCS (Cruces Cool Cats), where I assisted with basic sanctuary sanitation by cleaning and maintaining the facility to ensure a healthy and comfortable environment for the cats. In addition, I helped with TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) transportation and cat socialization, giving me experience working with cats of many different personalities. I also volunteer with ASCMV, where I completed a required dog handling mini course that taught proper handling techniques, canine body language, and safe interactions with dogs of different temperaments. This training has given me the confidence and knowledge to work with pets that are shy, nervous, reactive, or high-energy while always prioritizing their safety and comfort. Outside of volunteering, I own an Australian Cattle Dog mix, so I understand firsthand the dedication, patience, and exercise that high-energy breeds require. I am also an avid runner, which makes me well-prepared to provide energetic dogs with the physical activity and enrichment they need through long walks, runs, or active play sessions. Whether your pet enjoys an adventurous outing or prefers a calm, leisurely walk, I am happy to adapt to their individual needs and routine. I understand that pets are more than just animals—they are cherished members of the family. When you trust me with your pet, I will care for them with the same love, patience, and respect that I give my own. Their safety, happiness, and well-being will always be my top priorities. I am currently enrolled at DACC as a freshman, majoring in Associate of Science with plans to transfer to New Mexico State University's Animal Science program. My long-term goal is to attend veterinary school and become a veterinarian. Every opportunity to care for pets allows me to continue learning, growing, and gaining valuable hands-on experience, and I look forward to providing the highest quality care for your furry family members I’m currently a student and but I’m available after 12pm as well as full time on on Sundays and Saturdays. Weekday availability may vary, but I’m happy to coordinate schedules and work something out when possible! I can’t wait to meet your pets ! I care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable. I follow all feeding, walking, and care instructions closely and make sure pets feel safe, loved, and well looked after. I also send photo updates so owners can feel they’re confident their pets are in good hands !
About: I absolutely love dogs and come from a family of dog lovers. For almost 40 years, I’ve adopted, rescued, and cared for dogs since I was a little girl. I’ve worked at the Humane Society as an adoption counselor, and I’ve babysat countless dogs for friends and family — caring for everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs with medical needs. My home is designed with dogs in mind. I have a very large, secure yard built so my dogs can’t get out and nothing else can get in. Inside, animals are treated like people — as part of the family. My own dog loves to nap in the sun and find cozy spots in every room, and your pup will feel just as welcome. I offer boarding, daycare, walks, hiking, and grooming add-ons like brushing and baths. You’ll receive daily photo updates, and I always follow feeding, medication, and routine instructions exactly. As an educator by trade and a compassionate individual, I bring patience, attentiveness, and a true passion for animals to every interaction. Whether your dog needs playful enrichment, gentle senior care, or just a safe, loving place to stay, I’d be honored to be their trusted sitter. I work full-time from home, so I’m here throughout the day and night to care for your pup. My large, secure backyard is always open, giving dogs the freedom to come and go as they please. Access to the backyard is available all day for the dogs and they can freely go in and out as needed. I have a safe and secure home where dogs are allowed on the furniture and in every room of the house. I do not smoke or do any drugs and will ensure the safety, love, and care of your dogs. My home is a quiet, calm, and serene environment.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
