I had no idea she had never been around chickens before—you would never have guessed! We had a hen sitting on a nest and had calculated that the eggs would hatch after we got home... we were wrong! While we were away, several chicks started hatching. Jeannette didn't panic—she jumped right in. She went out and bought supplies, made sure the chicks were cared for, and handled everything like a pro, even hatching 4 chicks at her house. She also completely won over our cat, who now seems to love her more than us! Jeannette went so far above and beyond anything we expected. She treated our pets as if they were her own, kept us updated, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were gone. I recommend her with my highest recommendation. We are an active family so being outside a lot is important and we love to share that with animals. We go on walks and hikes a lot we even bring them on lake day adventures and my favorite… camping trips! I do not have a fenced yard at my house, I always stay with my puppy weather on leads or ecollar. We have an electric fence but I ensure nothing can come into our yard(other animals, people etc). If we do not use the electric fence we use a long lead. At a clients home if they have a fenced yard I would still never leave an animal unattended, that’s just me personally. I would love to spend time with your pets outside, maybe we can play a little or if your fur babies just wanna soak up some sun and relax, I’m here for it all! If the client does not have a fenced yard I would use a long lead or regular leash and never leave the pup pup unattended. For safety both in my own home or clients I utilize a crate if necessary, and positive reinforcement for good behavior! I also have experience with muzzles and other tools(collars, leads, head leads, etc) Its not only about protecting me and others but to ensure the safety of the animal as well.
