“We love leaving our Maggie with Heather. It’s like a vacation for her while we’re on vacation. She gets to run and play in Heather’s backyard. She’s so happily and tired when we pick her up. We couldn’t be more pleased! 😊”

“Melody was awesome!!! I would definitely recommend her! She is great and was really good at sending pictures I was totally at ease and felt like I left my little guy in great hands! Will definitely be using melody again!?”

“Aspen was a great dog mom for my pups while I was out of town. She communicated clearly about the arrangements and expectations. She made sure the pups were taken care of and they had a blast. Came home worn out from playing. She also provided updates and pics while she was watching them. I would gladly use her again!”

“Beth was an amazing sitter for our pup. She was easy to coordinate with on the front and back end and gave frequent updates with pictures and details keeping us up to date on everything our pup. Will definitely be back with Beth for our next getaway!”

“Elizabeth and Phillip have watched Sadie twice now. We can tell how much she likes going there when we drop her off and how much she sleeps when she comes home! Highly recommend”

“Ryo took care of our sweet Maddy and worked with us on such short notice. We appreciated the communication and pictures and can tell she was well cared for. We will definitely be contacting him again for doggie sitting in the future. Thanks Ryo!!”

“Ebony was so great! She was responsive, kind and flexible! She took great care of our dog and he got so much great socialization and exercise. We really appreciated her especially the last minute changes!”

“Crystal is the best!! My beagle, Buddy, loves it there. He’s stayed with her several times and now he knows where he is when he gets out of the car and wags his tail as he runs to her front door. Thank you, Crystal, for taking such good care of him. It’s like his second home!! I appreciate that you take the time to send me pictures of him daily and that you treat him like your own.”

“Shunita was so great with Dango! I'm so thankful to have found her on such short notice, I received updates and not only that but she was super patient when it came to him being nervous around other dogs. He ended up making a couple of friends during his stay! She also made sure he ate, he was being a little odd ball not eating his food but she went of her way giving him chicken everyday. I am so glad to have found her I really cannot thank you enough!💕”

“Lisi did a great job with my two dogs. They were very accommodating to a last minute request (day of!) and flexible with me. Received picture updates which were great. Thank you!”

About: Hi! My name is Emm! I am a queer and queer-friendly person and active in my community. I have taken care of animals since I was 8. I raised puppies, walked massive dobermans, and at one point took care of 13 dogs at once! Feeding, watering, cleaning up after, walking, and loving your pet like you would are my top priorities. I lived with my father after becoming an adult and took care of his cat. Animals of all kinds are fine by me! I'm available at any time! When I am not working, I spend my time with my partner, listen to music, and practice my culinary skills. If I stay at your home, I will respect your pets and your things like you're my family. Your pets will be pampered and well cared for. I'll take great care of them, and give them plenty of love and attention.

“Maria is an amazing sitter and I will be referring all my friends to her. She always makes gays very happy! He is always in a great mood when I drop him off and happy when I pick him up. And when I am away she updates me daily.”

“A+++++ great sitter. I have a very clingy poodle so I’m nervous about leaving her with anyone. She gave us lots of updates and pictures of my girl. I would definitely use her again.”

“I was very, very happy with Lynne. She watched my dog, Buddy for 4 days, and sent pictures and updates every day. I could tell he was happy, and I was especially glad that she has an fenced in back yard, and that she let him on the furniture and her bed, because he's spoiled! I will definitely let him stay with her again. Great experience!”

“Dawn did an amazing job taking care of my fur baby. We were gone for a week and she made sure to update me on how my baby was doing through texts and photos. She even cuddled her and bought treats when she wasn’t eating the ones I brought. She and her husband were amazing caregivers for my sweet fur baby. I never worried once about whether my baby was safe.”

“I am very pleased at Brittney’s ongoing care of my two cats. If I am counting correctly, she has taken care of them for 11 trips over the last several years. She promptly communicates, is reliable, and most importantly, provides excellent, loving care for my cats. One of my cats will sometimes make a dash for the door and so I worry about this while I am away. I can trust Brittney will be very careful. That same cat needs thyroid medication applied topically in her ear, the cat is not a big fan of this. Brittney has handled this very well and gives her a treat after the med. My other cat is shy but comes out and interacts with Brittney. Brittney has consistently gone above and beyond, keeping an eye out for the safety of my home. I left before the garbage pick up and meant to ask Brittney to please bring the can up when she was here. I completely forgot to ask, but she noticed and took it to the back of the house for me. My cats and I greatly appreciate all the TLC!”

“Samantha was the best! Professional, friendly, and excellent communication. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her, and will definitely be using her services again in the future.”

“I was so happy to be able to book Donai again. Second time’s a charm! I knew my cats were in great hands, and I always loved seeing the Rover reports and pictures while I was enjoying my trip. Thanks for your flexibility and your clear communication!”

About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was 19. Started with my own cat Mona learning the basics of cat care from enrichment, undertaking behaviors, and creating sense of safety for our little fur balls! I’ve work with both young and senior cats, which have allowed me to a build a foundation of knowledge cats needs!
“Dawn is wonderful with my boys. She made every effort to befriend my very shy Finley. They are buds now and it took no time. Dawn is very knowledgeable with large dogs. She is also very dependable and communicates well when she is unavailable. WE LOVE HER!!”

“Emmalea did a wonderful job checking in on our two cats while we were away for a short trip. Her communication with us was top notch, and I would definitely recommend Emmalea. Our cats were relaxed and happy when we returned home, and we knew that they were cared for well while we were away.”

“We were really happy with the care she gave our dog while we were away. At first our dog was a little shy and unsure, but she eventually warmed up to her and started getting excited for their walks and playtime. I was honestly nice seeing her look forward to the visits. She always made sure our dog was fed and had fresh clean water, and even with only 30-minute visits, she still took the time to walk and play with her. Our dog can pull a lot during walks, but she handled her really well and seemed patient with her. Overall we were satisfied with her care and appreciated the updates and time she spent with our dog while we were away. We’d definitely consider booking with her again. Thank you again!”

About: I’ve spent my entire adult life caring for cats, and at this point I speak fluent meow. Whenever a partner was out of town, I handled all the drop‑ins—providing belly rubs (but only when Her Majesty permitted), play sessions, cleaned litter box, and always sure there is a full bowl of fresh food and water. In short: I make sure every sweet baby feel like the royalty they clearly are.

About: Well I wrote a novel but it didn't save, lol, so let me just say that I've had two special needs kitties since I was 22 and I'm 50 now. We give daily baths and our two tuxie handicapable boys were and are loved and cared for like no other. Both have gone through multiple health issues, surgeries and MRIs, and there's nothing we wouldn't do for them! I give daily meds to our Fennie who has a degenerative cerebellar disorder (we drove to Chicago to adopt him). We have three sweet babies inside, two tuxie boys, Fennie & Andre the Giant Kitty, & a little, sassy, bottle baby black princess named Salem Winifred. All are under 5yrs old. We have two outside, if they show up to put house they never look back, and have everything they want and need. One we cannot touch, but both have heated cat houses and are just as spoiled. Squintsy & Bitties. Whether you’re away for a weekend or an extended trip, your cats will receive attentive, loving care in the comfort of their own home. I've had special needs babies for over 20yrs now, so I'm very experienced in tending to special needs & giving medication. Flexible scheduling available. Serving Shepherdsville and nearby areas. Send me a message if you'd like to discuss your cat(s) needs 🐱 I'll make sure everything is purrfect for your babies!

About: I have always been known to be a pet lover and truly do care and love pets. I have pet sat since I was a kid and always try to give pets extra love and care while their family is away. I have had experiences in the past with dogs who are reactive, have health issues, or need extra patience and time. I trained my dog Bunny since she was 3 months old and am experienced with potty training, crate training, and basic commands. I also had an elderly 12 year old dog who has joint issues and needed extra help occasionally. I am able to give medicine or do any extra medical care if provided with instructions. I am a Direct Support Professional working with individuals with disabilities! I can work with owners to find the best way to keep their pets feeling safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I am good at getting dogs in crates and on walks. I love all pets, no matter what size and age.

Not only do I enjoy doing this so much for myself but my 2 kids and my husband love doing along my side. We all make a wonderful team taking care of fur babies. Your fur baby will always be treated as if they were our own baby in our care. While you are away we will gladly take over on loving on them! I have had the pleasure of working for Rover for 3 years now. Working for Rover I have been around all kinds of fur babies from huge to tiny, from picky eaters to will eat anything lol. Working for Rover has given me the experience to know what to expect when caring for a baby since I've done it so much. I also have been caring for pets of my own for 9 years now. But have grown up around all kinds of animals. My first born son is a Doberman Pincher and he is a pretty big boy. He is the best dog ever! He's is like my shadow and follows me everywhere I go. He's great around other dogs. He will sniff like crazy but after that he just wants to play and go get his blankey. We live in an apartment and getting exercise isn't as easy as it is with families with a yard. But can't let that stop us. I make sure my baby gets the exercise and outside time he wants and needs. So I have made it my duty to help dogs who have the same or different obstacles in their way of enjoying there natural desire to be outside and to get the exercise they need to stay healthy. I am a huge dog lover and will go above and beyond to make sure a dog is happy, seeing them happy makes me happy. I am available any day or time during the week and weekends. This is my only job and I am pretty flexible and willing to work with drop off and pick up times. I don't have a yard because I live in an apartment. But I can't let that stop me, I take my dog out to walk and play probably more than I should because we dont have a yard. He is a big boy and exercise is very important for him to stay healthy. So we go for long walks and I have a little yard outside my patio for emergency potty breaks. I also live right by the floor wall so we tend to walk it a lot my dog absolutely loves going up it. I am currently not working any other job so your doggy will be my main focus. I am available any time during the week and weekends just give me a shout and we will make something work. I live in an apartment so I walk my boy to go potty, play, or walk. I have a yard in front of my patio if we have a potty emergency. It is not fenced in so I will NOT have your baby off leash ever. I also can easily crate your baby in my XL crate if need be. E

About: I've been in the house/pet sitting business for a couple years now. I've worked in houses with anywhere between one animal to seven animals! I am absolutely open to exotic pets as well as I have a few of my own and would love to meet different species. I also worked in a zoo for 4 years, and currently work in a vets office, so I have plenty of different experiences. I look forward to meeting your babies:) I currently work at a vets office Thursday-Saturday from 9am-5:30pm (1pm on Saturdays), and volunteer Sunday nights, so I would unfortunately not be able to provide around the clock care. Otherwise, I am at the home all day! I am open to frequent walks, brushing, bathing, giving medication, and any other specific needs for your pet! I understand how tedious and picky some animals tend to be, so I'm open to any accommodations necessary.
About: Taken care of and lived with multiple family dogs since I was a child but I’ve taken care of my own dog personally for the last 7 years. I currently only work 3 shifts a week so I am available to take care of and board your pets! I have a lot of free time which means your pet will have all the attention and love they desire. I live in an apartment, which means I have no fence in the yard, but there is a lot of open grass area near me.
“Dawn was wonderful! Ginger loved her and enjoyed her walks with Dawn the days we needed her. We don't live in the area, but we would definitely use Dawn again given an opportunity.”

About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals and would be honored to care for your furry family members. Growing up, I was surrounded by both large and small dogs, as well as indoor and feral cats, so I’m comfortable with a variety of personalities, needs, and energy levels. My professional background is in senior care, where I coordinated care across West Louisville and served as an Activities Director in several local senior living communities. Those roles taught me the importance of patience, reliability, communication, and treating every individual with kindness and respect. I bring that same level of care and attention to every pet I meet. Whether your pet needs companionship, playtime, a calm presence, or just someone dependable to keep their routine on track, I’ll treat them like one of my own. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so I’m home throughout the day and able to give pets plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. My 2-year-old loves dogs, and caring for pets is a sweet way for our family to spend time with animals while providing them with a loving, comfortable home environment. I don’t have a fenced-in yard, but my kids and I are very active and love going on walks, spending time outdoors, and giving pets plenty of attention and playtime. In my home, your pet will be treated like part of the family with a safe, comfortable space to relax, regular potty breaks and walks, playtime, meals and medications given exactly as instructed, and lots of love and supervision. I’ll follow their normal routine as closely as possible and can accommodate crate-trained pets if needed. In a client’s home, I’ll make sure your pet is comfortable in their familiar environment while providing reliable walks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, cuddles, litter box or potty cleanup, and any medication or special care they need. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
About: I’ve always had a dog growing up, our family dog recently just died of old age.. and think it’s probably to soon to get another dog so we’re going to take baby steps. I’m currently working part time, I have a 4 year old son who loves animals so feel it would be great to take on pet sitting part time.. I have a spacious home & also a fenced in back yard for dogs to easily roam around and be comfortable inside or outside etc.
About: I've taken care of dogs and cats of all kinds ever since I was roughly 13 years old, and am also able to administer medications to animals. Family members, friends, and referrals/new friends have trusted me with their pets time and time again because I genuinely enjoy spending time with and taking care of their critters as if they’re my own! I also have experience with farm/unique animals like chickens, chinchillas, guinea pigs, rabbits, snakes, etc., and I have experience caring for epileptic dogs, as well as senior animals! I can ALWAYS promise to treat your babies like they’re my own, and to ensure they get the best of care. My availability is quite flexible, and I typically have the ability to run over and do house visits or walks as often as they are needed, and I’m able to provide housesitting services, too! I unfortunately am unable to host animals in my home due to rules against it (I’m a renter). I apologize in advance if this causes any kind of inconvenience. But I’m able to happily provide housesitting/petsitting services at my clients homes.

About: I am experienced with dogs of all sizes and cats! I love animals & all their quirks! I have a dog as well as two cats. I can’t wait to meet your fur baby! I am currently working from home so I am open to care for your pet in any way they need! Whether they are big, small, chill, or active. I have a large fenced in yard and a very friendly pup to keep your fur babies company. I believe positive reinforcement is the only productive way to interact with animals.
About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was ten years old! Between looking after my own dog and my family's, I have the experience and love to make sure your furry friend gets the attention they deserve! I'm a middle school teacher in the Louisville area, so weekends are the best for house sitting and longer watching periods! During the weekday afternoons, I would love to help check in, play with your pup, or give them a nice long walk! Communication is the most important thing. I will always follow the wishes of the owner to make sure your pets are cared for in the most consistent way possible. Your boundaries are mine, and I always act in the best interest of you and your pets!
About: Pets are my world. I volunteered at an animal rescue for 8 years before I moved out of town. I had a 14-year-old rescue who was blind and diabetic. I gave him two injections a day and cooked his food every week. Let your pup be my new bestie. I currently do not have a set schedule so my schedule is pretty flexible to keep your babies company when needed even in short notice! I let them smell me each time and come to me when they are comfortable. I have no doubt they will warm up to me fast!
About: I have previous experience working at a dog boarding facility for 1 year. I have experience watching dogs for family and friends. I have 3 dogs of my own who are my babies. I’m currently working part time and I am in school online so I have plenty of time to play with your pups. My schedule varies so please let me know what your requests are and I can let you know if they would work with my schedule. I am available on weekdays, weekends, drop ins and for long term stays. I am free to stay overnight or come for day visits. I love to be outdoors with pups or spend time indoors snuggling and watching Netflix!
My work schedule is the same weekly which can be beneficial with clients to communicate when they expect me to be with their pets. I have knowledge, patience, and love for pets who's owners may be worried about having a pet sitter due to their pet's reactivity, shyness, or extra needs. I can work with owners to find the best way to keep their pets feeling safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I am good at getting dogs in crates and on walks. I love all pets, no matter what size and age.
