“Renee looked after our cat while we were away on a one week vacation. I cannot begin to explain how wonderful it is to be able to enjoy a vacation without having to worry about our kitty being cared for. We 100% know that we can completely depend on Renee and are so thankful to have found her!”

“Autumn once again took fantastic care of both our cat and our home while we were away for a week! I highly recommend her if you are in search of someone to trust with your pets!”

“Mary is a great pet sitter! Goes above and beyond the necessary duties. She made sure that my cat got some attention by petting and playing with Fran. Mary also had some accidents to clean up which she did without hesitation or complaint. I appreciate the fact that I can count on her to show up daily while I am away. Don’t hesitate to contact Mary for your pet sitting needs!”

“We felt very secure leaving our two cats at home with Vivien dropping in to care for them. She took great care of them and completed all the tasks we asked her to every time she stopped by. When we got home, it was to a clean and tidy space with two happy and well-cared for cats.”

About: I have had pets my entire life. I am a certified dog groomer as of 2019. I also take in stray kittens and find them vet help as well as their forever families. I currently don't work, my kids are home for the summer. I have 3 cats and a dog. My animals are feed 2 times a day. I used to be a mobile groomer so I have experience with coming to clients homes and discussing comfort levels and needs of their pets.

“Caroline was incredibly Punctual and spent a good amount of time with our boys (cats) during our vacation. Normally we would worry with having to have a handful of people stop by at random times. However, with Rover and especially Caroline all those worries were put to rest. She even started to gain the trust of our shyest cat which speaks volumes about how good she is. We think she’s great, you will likely think she’s great too. We absolutely will be booking her again on our next trip.”

“Abbi was great! Felt confident leaving my cat with her. Very easy to talk to her and was flexible when we had sudden changes in arrival time for pick up. Would not hesitate to book Abbi again. :)”

“Evie was absolutely wonderful. She took such good care of my cats. She took the time to send regular updates and photos, which was so very much appreciated; this was the first time my husband and I left them with someone besides my mom, so we were a little nervous. Coming home, they were happy and healthy and in wonderful moods. She couldn't have done a better job. Evie is recommended everyday of the week.”

“Sharon was great! She house sat for me and checked on my cat for five days. She sent photos every day, reached out if she had any questions. My cat is very shy and she spent time everyday to get her comfortable. She went above and beyond to make sure I felt like my cat was well taken care of. I would definitely recommend! 5/5!”

“Chelsea was amazing! She took such great care of our cats and gave great updates. One of our cats usually gets really stressed when we’re away, but he was so happy and relaxed this time with her checking in. I’m so grateful and will definitely book with her again!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and I’ve been dog sitting all different breeds and ages for over 5 years. The families I pet sit for always recommend me to other families, so I decided to expand on that! Along with my experience, I’m also looking to go into an animal-related career field, so I enjoy being around animals any chance I get. I’m currently working full time at the Toledo Zoo; however, I do get one hour breaks, which I can use to give potty breaks if within a reasonable distance to my job. I’m looking for a different job, so there is a possibility my availability will open up more. I love getting to know all types fur babies! I can deal with any personality type, as well as give medications if needed. My dog at home gets 4 pills a day, so I relate! I’m a very big communicator with the owners while dog sitting, whether it’s any concerns or just cute pictures!

About: I treat your dog like my own, with plenty of love and play. I’m reliable, keep you in the loop, and know how to keep your pup safe and happy while your away. I watched my cousin’s dog for a weekend. We went on walks and I gave lots of belly rubs. I work part-time on weekends but have the whole beginning of the week free to give your furry friends all the care and love they deserve. Sun-Wed and some Friday’s consider me available for your pups needs of care. In my home, I offer a safe, loving environment with regular play and care tailored to each pet’s routine. At your home, I follow your pet’s schedule closely to keep them comfortable and secure while providing plenty of attention.

“This was my first time using this site. I was nervous and unsure how everything would work. John'Asia came to meet me and my cat before my vacation. During my vacation she was on time. Bonded with my cat and really took care of my cat. I feel like my pet was in good hands. She sent me photos everyday and also wrote my cat's progress for that day. Next time I take a vacation I will definitely use John'Asia as the sitter for my pets.”

About: Hi, I’m Marti. I have had over 15 years of experience with dogs. I am fully vaccinated and would be available to schedule a time to meet prior. I will also wear a mask to our meeting. I pet sit for family members on top of caring for my dog. I love taking care of pups, and I believe that they add so much to our lives. If given the opportunity, your dog would be in the right care. I am currently working part-time this summer, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups. I also grew up around dogs, and I also help my parents take care of their dog Harley. I am a college student who still lives with my parents, so I do not offer house sitting. I have previously house sat for family members, and I care for their pups by taking them to the park or on daily walks. I also make sure that pets are always hydrated and get the proper exercise.

About: I've had dogs for most of my life. I love spending time with any and all dogs. Walking them/playing with them and even cuddling them. If you ask any of my family members they would tell you I'm a dog whisperer. I think it's the passion I have that makes me unique. I'm always willing to learn new things. I currently work at a doggy daycare where I take in new skills. However, those hours are just not giving. One day I want to own my own dog care business. I feel like no other career fits me well unless it involves animals. I currently work part-time only 8 hours a week. So I have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby. I want to make Rover more of a career for me as of right now. In my home I provide a fenced yard. If your dog is a jumper don't worry because I tend to stay outside with the dogs. I also have a little play pen for dogs who need a break from other dogs or just to feel that extra comfort. I keep owners informed to as little or as much as they want!

About: I've taken care of dogs for over 4 decades. I've helped with puppy litters. Older dogs require more finesse. I treat any dog like they are mine. I work the school system so until May I'm available after 4pm. I work another job 2 days a week and Saturday so my availability is open. I will be the only one in your home. I follow any rules set by owner because their animal needs to feel comfortable with who is taking care of them. They aren't going outside unless I know the leash is attached or the gates are closed and locked

Samantha M.
“Samantha M. is my niece, and lived with us for a period of about 4 years while she attended college. At that time, she brought with her Precious, a terrier Samantha had rescued from a road side a few years before, where she was starving, mangy, emaciated, and, as we later found out, pregnant. Samantha, barely a teenager at the time, and alone in the house, delivered Precious' pups single-handedly. Samantha is a caring, loving, "animal-whisperer" of sorts, who seems to be able to lovingly communicate with numerous species. I cannot speak highly enough this young woman's capacity to care for, protect, and love all animals.”

I’ve seen how gentle and patient she is with pets, always making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for. Rytresha would make an excellent dog walker or pet sitter—any pet parent would be lucky to have her looking after their furry friend!”

Oregon cat parents share their Rover experiences
We were out of the country for almost a month and Qianna took great care of our 2 cats and 2 dogs. She dropped in twice a day to feed them and let the dogs out. If there was a problem, she let me know right away. She went above and beyond on taking care of our pets and we will certainly hire her again the next we go out of town.
