About: Hi! My name is Katia, I am new to the rover app:)caring for dogs has been a big part of my life for almost a decade. I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 18, and now at 27, I have years of experience understanding the different personalities, routines, and needs that make every dog unique. I’m also a proud dog mom to Apollo, my German Shepherd who has been by my side since high school, and Sierra, my sweet mixed breed rescue. Rescuing Sierra has made me especially passionate about giving dogs a safe, patient, and loving environment where they can feel comfortable and cared for. Pet care currently fits very easily into my daily and weekly routine because I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability. I’m currently between jobs, so I’m able to dedicate a significant amount of time and attention to caring for my clients’ pets. This allows me to be flexible with drop-ins, walks, house sitting, and different schedules depending on each pet’s needs. I prioritize making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, especially when they are in their own home. Since my dogs do not do well around unfamiliar animals, I will provide care exclusively in my client’s home, which also allows your pet to stay in the environment they already know and feel comfortable in. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, needs, and preferences so I can keep their care as consistent as possible. I’m very attentive to doors, gates, leashes, feeding instructions, medications if needed, and anything else that helps keep your pet safe.
About: I've had dogs most of my life and I don't know what I would do without them! I love being around all types of animals but dogs are my absolute favorite! I can always be trusted that your pet will be taken care of. The only thing they might get too much of is all my scratches, love, and treatos!(: I work full time at lululemon but can always adjust my schedule to make time for your pet. I usually have shorter work days than most. I have a fenced yard and two friendly pups that love to meet new dogs! They will get plenty of food and water while in my care as well as walks to relieve some energy.
About: I grew up around dogs, cats, turtles, rats, reptiles, insects, and definitely a few more I don’t remember. I can help with whatever is needed. I am currently living on campus at college, however all of my classes get out at 2pm. I also have more than enough time between classes to drop in and check on/ take care of an animal. About: I haven’t taken care of dogs for my entire life, but I’ve always had a passion for them! I have experience taking care of my roommates pets since I’ve been in college and I now have a dog of my own that I care for! This includes feeding, walking, administering basic medications, and maintaining consistent schedules. The dogs I’ve cared for range from 6 months to 10 years old so I have experience with all ages and stages of life. I have a deep love for animals and I’m an agriculture major at Texas Tech so animals are part of my studies as well! As a college student, I value communication and reliability. I currently have another part-time job, so I will have a lot of time to care for your pets! I’m typically available to take care of your pets after 3pm Monday through Thursday and all day Friday through Sunday! I will not be taking pets in my own home as I live in student housing, but I know the importance of keeping your pet comfortable both in and outside the home! I have a dog of my own and it took him a while to get comfortable, so I know how to help a pup adjust and will learn your dog’s personal quirks to ensure the best care!
About: I have owned a pet for 16 years so I have a very good knowledge of animal care. I have two personal dog and many family pets! I’d love to watch your fur buddy! I am currently doing online schooling with no other job, therefore I am available at all times of the day. I am in college and have lots of free time due to having a light load! sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
