“We found Marti on DogVacay after searching and realizing that there were no kennels that we liked in the DC area--everything was too expensive or too impersonal, or both. With two active little dogs, we wanted something cost effective and where we knew our girls would be loved and cared for like they were home with us. Marti was wonderful and fit that bill perfectly. Knowing that she had Westies for years made us so happy and feel so secure. Her home is easy to find and has a great big fenced in backyard. The rooms in the house were easy to break up, and we knew that our dogs would feel right at home. Upon meeting Marti before our first reservation, we saw that our dogs loved her and that she would love them. She was so tuned in to the things that only a fellow pet owner would know, and we felt safe knowing that. She asked all the right questions, and we booked three stays immediately. This past weekend was visit number one for our two pups, and they had so much fun. Marti was very upfront about the presence of other dogs and was very accommodating if we had needed any special arrangements--we didn't, but knowing that she was tuned in and knew how to "read" dogs' interactions with one another was great. She is such a pro. We looked forward to the pictures and messages she sent throughout the dogs' stay, and they were such a joy to see. I love that Marti did this! Picking up the dogs was great--we missed them!--because the dogs were tired (so much fun!) and so happy. Can't wait to send the dogs to Auntie Marti's again soon!”

I highly recommend Max for your dog sitter needs. Based on reviews, we reached out to him to do a meet and greet with our 2 small dogs and him and his dogs. They seemed to be interested and I felt like he was the right choice to board our dogs with for a few days. Since one of our dogs needs a little special care, Max went above and beyond to make sure he took his meds, ate well, and was comforted while we were gone.
I can’t say enough great things about Perla! She has watched my dog several times now, and every experience has been fantastic. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing my puppers is in such caring, capable hands. She’s incredibly reliable and always keeps me updated with messages and photos, which means the world to me when I’m away. My dog absolutely loves her and as soon as I get her leash and head for the car she knows where she’s going, and that says everything. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely caring with their pets.
Lauren and Matt saved my sons wedding! We needed a sitter last minute and Lauren facilitated a meet n greet for us and boarded our pupper within a few days. They treated our girl like she was one of their own and gave her so much love and attention. Shes an anxious pup but they put her at ease and gave her lots of love and attention which really helped. Lauren and Matt were so kind, understanding, and flexible to us and the situation, we cant thank them enough! Mollie was amazing!!! She made sure our poppy was her top priority. Lots of pics of them doing fun activities and poppy looked like she felt right at home staying with Mollie. We were able to enjoy our trip more than usual cause we knew poppy was in the best of hands. We would absolutely recommend mollie 100% to anyone looking for a sitter. Maria was great! She was quick to respond and agreed to a meet and greet at her place. She welcomed us in and showed us around as well as outside, where Koko would be let out during her stay. She was very friendly and more than happy to watch my Koko. When I asked for photos, she happily agreed to send and did so throughout Koko’s stay. Will definitely book again! (:
