Dog Boarding and Day Care: My setup is a bit unique. I live in a duplex with my mom. I work regular hours during the week and my mom cares for dogs while I'm at work, including my dog, Jessie. I am with them at night and weekends and can walk them in the morning and evening. I do all of the feeding and walking (and medication). She is company for them on weekdays. Your dog will rarely spend time alone. Walking and Drop Ins: I am available for dog walking or drop ins on weekends and after 5:00 pm on weekdays.

Our home is calm, quiet, and familiar to animals. My mom and I have cared for pets our whole lives and it shows in how comfortable dogs get here quickly. We have a fenced yard for outdoor time and my gentle senior dog, Jessie, who mostly keeps to herself. Visiting pets get a peaceful, low-stress environment. We only take dogs from one family at a time, so you do not have to worry about your dog interacting with pets you don't know. We like to keep routines consistent so pets feel secure, and pay close attention to each pet's needs, whether that means extra playtime, quiet downtime, or sticking to their normal schedule. I am extremely strict about your pet's safety. Walks are always on-leash on my neighborhood streets and nearby parks. I will never take your dog anywhere else unless you request it. If I come to your house to check in, I will follow your instructions exactly and make sure everyone and everything is safe and secure as I leave. You will get updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are safe and happy.

I live upstairs and my mom lives downstairs. If your pet can not climb up and down stairs, please let us know so we can arrange for them to be downstairs during their visit.
A typical day
A typical day depends upon your dog’s needs and the weather. In the mornings (and cooler evenings), we can walk in nearby parks like Brackenridge or Mahncke. At home, I have a fenced backyard that’s great for playtime. Indoors, we can play or relax- every dog has their own personality and I’m happy to oblige.

Pet care experience
I have been caring for pets my whole life, dogs, cats, and a few more unusual ones along the way. Over the years I have managed pets with medical needs including daily medication and insulin, so I am comfortable with pets that need a little extra attention. I am centrally located in Mahncke Park, I work with my mom so dogs here are almost never alone. What sets me apart is not volume - we only take one family at a time. I do this because I genuinely love animals.

Our dogs had a wonderful time with Laurie. This was the first time she watched all three of them. She took them on walks, kept them safe and entertained so they came back happy and exhausted. She has a great set up with a fenced in backyard. She has a schedule that really fits. Their needs is very active her soul so that helps with the active dogs and a really great mom that can lend a hand when needed. We are already scheduled with her again!
