I have been caring for pets my whole life, dogs, cats, and a few more unusual ones too. Over the years I have managed pets with medical needs including daily medication and insulin, so I am comfortable with pets that need a little extra attention. I am centrally located in Mahncke Park, my mom and I work together to dog sit, so dogs here are almost never alone. Additionally, we take just one family at a time.

Our dogs had a wonderful time with Laurie. This was the first time she watched all three of them. She took them on walks, kept them safe and entertained so they came back happy and exhausted. She has a great set up with a fenced in backyard. She has a schedule that really fits. Their needs is very active her soul so that helps with the active dogs and a really great mom that can lend a hand when needed. We are already scheduled with her again!

Schedule
Dog Boarding and Day Care: My setup is a bit unique. I live in a duplex with my mom. I work regular hours during the week but can usually work from home when I sit. My mom helps out while I'm working (important meetings are always peak dog barking out the window times😅). Your dog will rarely spend time alone and will have attention even while I’m hard at work. Walking and Drop Ins: I am available for dog walking or drop ins on weekends and after 5:00 pm on weekdays. I have found that lots of people need a dog sitter as well as someone to look in on their cats/fish/plants/etc- I enjoy that too (no snakes🙀).

Our home is calm and quiet. My mom and I have cared for pets our whole lives and it shows in how quickly dogs get comfortable here. We have a fenced yard for outdoor time with my gentle senior dog, Jessie, who mostly keeps to herself. Visiting pets get a peaceful, low-stress environment. You’ll notice that I don’t have hundreds of clients. That’s because we only take dogs from one family at a time. You never have to worry about your dog interacting with pets you don't know. We like to keep routines consistent so pets feel secure, and pay close attention to each pet's needs, whether that means extra playtime, quiet downtime, or sticking to their normal schedule. I am extremely strict about your pet's safety. Walks are always on-leash on my neighborhood streets and nearby parks. I will never take your dog anywhere else unless you request it. If I come to your house to check in, I will follow your instructions exactly and make sure everyone and everything is safe and secure as I leave. You will get updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are safe and happy.

A typical day depends upon your dog’s needs and the weather. In the mornings (and cooler evenings), we can walk in nearby parks like Brackenridge or Mahncke. At home, I have a fenced backyard that’s great for playtime.
