“Grettel was fantastic with our shy kitties. She slowly introduced herself to them and was eventually able to gain their trust. We loved getting all the updates from her and pics of them while we were away. She’s amazing and we’d highly recommend her to other pet parents!”

“Linda was such a wonderful sitter for my little Lulu. Usually Lu is a bit crazy after I come back from a trip and she was calm as can be. I attribute that Linda’s warm presence as much as her care.”

About: I grew up in a home that always had multiple animals. Whether it was cats, dogs, fish, snakes and plenty more I was always taking care of different animals. Now as I’ve grown older the love for animals has not stopped. Dogs are really the best companions and can understand you more than some humans. The love I have for animals is truly the same love I have for family members. I’ll always make sure they are being well taken care of, fed, running freely or on walks, playing and always loved! Your dog will be treated like my own! My work schedule varies quite a bit, I may need to go into work sometimes & in that case my mother is typically home anyway. Otherwise I am home I have a fenced in area for the doggies to run freely. I have a dog of my own so I know what a dog needs and the love and attention they deserve! They can sleep wherever they’re most comfortable with at my home.
“Paige was such a joy to work with. I felt so comfortable and at ease while I was on vacation knowing that my kitties were in the best hands with Paige! She provided reliable check-in visits and sent me recaps and photos each time, which always included a note about how much she loves my kitties 🥰 I recommend Paige to anyone who wants to feel completely at ease that their furry loved one(s) will be in the best care while being pet-sat. Thank you so much, Paige!! ♥️🐾”

“Arthur was a wonderful sitter for my two cats-- he is clearly a true cat lover and my cats were very well taken care of when I came home. He also sent very sweet pictures and videos during every check in. Will definitely rebook!”

“Kim is the best! She’s such a kind and considerate individual who made me feel so at ease on my trip. She took great care of my cat and I’d 100% recommend her to anyone else! You can definitely trust Kim with your pet care needs :)”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better caregiver for our dog. From the very first meeting, it was clear how much love and professionalism she brings to her work. She was attentive, reliable, and went above and beyond to make sure our pup was happy, safe, and cared for. We especially appreciated the updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. It’s such a relief knowing our dog was in such good hands. We wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and truly devoted to animals. She’s simply the best!”

“Amy was a wonderful sitter for our animals. We are so thankful for her help. She was very good at communicating with us while we were away so we knew everything was well at home.”

About: I’ve had all kinds of pets, especially dogs, my entire life. Big ones, little ones, and everything in between — I love animals, and pampering them even more. Id love nothing more than to take care of your furry friends! I used to work at a doggie daycare, and was professionally trained in pet etiquette, grooming, and pet emergencies. I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment due to my living circumstances that disallows pets, but I miss having furry friends! I can do more than just hang around your pet. I’m professionally trained in dog bathing and grooming if necessary. I have gone through extensive behavioral training and can easily recognize when a dog is happy, uncomfortable, agitated, etc. Different behaviors require different approaches so I politely ask that you are honest about your pet’s needs and background when they are in my care. First time Rover customers are welcome to use my promotional code EMILYC83173 for $20 off their first service. Be sure to take advantage! I am in college full time, and I’m available most days. I can pop in anytime past 10 pm if needed! My availability is typically very open. I’m a former babysitter, so you can trust me to respect and care for your home as needed! I like to have very open communication, so if that sounds good to you, I may just be the pet sitter you’re looking for! :) I used to work at a doggie daycare with very extensive training, and I was professionally trained to handle/manage dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have dealt with countless emergencies between dogs and feel very comfortable working with them.
About: I've taken care of many different types of dogs, from pit bulls to terriers to English bulldogs. As a teenager, I loved taking our family dog (a black Boxador) to her weekly puppy training classes and watching neighbors' dogs and cats while they were away. As an adult, I've been hired to dog-sit, cat-sit and house-sit for family friends and teachers. I spent the past year living with a rambunctious German shepherd and wrangling her on walks in Denver. I absolutely love long walks, playing fetch, or just cuddling with dogs. I'm a musician and graduate student at Bard. My schedule changes quite a bit, but I always have a good idea of what my schedule will look like 2 weeks in advance. In addition, I am generally free most mornings, and can often be flexible. I'm very happy to provide your dog(s) with walks, food, brushing, and bathing in the mornings or during the day while you're at work! I am also potentially open to boarding cats in my apartment if they do well with other cats. I have a calm, quiet 7yo cat named Hobbes, and my roommate has a rambunctious, playful, and friendly 2yo cat named Rue. Both have lived with multiple other cats before. We have 3 litter boxes in the house, lots of fun toys, many windows, space to explore, and a large cat tower.
About: I have always had a massive soft spot for all animals. I’ve spent my life around dogs and believe they should be treated with the same love and care that we provide for our friends and family. I have owned many pets, ranging from large breed dogs to lizards, turtles, etc. in addition to pet/house sitting for friends and neighbors over the years. I have recent experience in training a very stubborn Rottweiler puppy (potty training, commands, tricks) along with a lifetime of experience with rescues. I currently work part time on Mondays and Tuesdays, but my schedule is free the remaining five days of the week and it is highly flexible. I am available to walk your dogs or check in for feeding times and bathroom visits whenever is needed! It would be a pleasure to assist in taking care of and ensuring the happiness/well being of your furry friend! I cannot board any animals in my current house, but please feel free to contact me with any inquiries pertaining overnight stays in your home.
About: I grew up with two dogs who were my best friends. I have been steadily watching my sister’s beautiful dog Albert and her new puppy Janice for 3 years. Those days are the best days - i walk them, feed them their meals and required medicine, and always make sure they have loads of attention and pets! I work remotely and my schedule is very flexible, so I can cater to your individualized needs! I travel sometimes on weekends, but with enough notice, I will lock your dog sitting needs into my schedule and always show up in a timely fashion! I always keep an eye on the pets I am watching when out in the yard, even if the space is enclosed - I watch for other animals, etc to always ensure your pet’s safety. I have gone on many a walk with medium to large dogs and always make sure their leash is within 6-8 feet and they are secure within their harness.
“Daniel was great! He accommodated a last minute booking and was very communicative throughout the whole process and with his visits. My cat is a bit shy but seemed to warm up to him quickly. Would highly recommend!”

About: I used to be a veterinary assistant-Which gave me valuable exposure to animal handling, basic health procedures, and staying calm in stressful situations. I am now a full time student furthering my career. I have served clients across Ulster and Delaware county. I’m comfortable, reliable, and dedicated to giving every animal the attention, patience, and care they deserve. I genuinely enjoy meeting and caring for all types of animals, and I look forward to caring for yours! (: I’m currently in school- looking to graduate very soon. My availability is pretty flexible and I will be more than willing to work around my schedule to fit your fur babies needs. I feed them, clean up after them, give them medication if needed, bathe them, walk them as often as needed. If your animal is on a schedule of any kind, it will be cared for accordingly.
“Can’t recommend Sabrina enough. She’s incredibly sweet and genuinely loves animals. I trusted her immediately and found her to be communicative, punctual, and reliable. She takes the time to get to know your pet and get them comfortable, so you can feel at ease about them while you’re away.”

“Nathan did a wonderful job looking after our three eccentric cats. We have one cat who needs meds twice a day and he had no problem dosing him. Even the shy cat came out for him! We came home to calm, happy cats! Thank you Nate!”

“Simon was very competent, reliable and devoted to the care of our cat, Opie. He stayed in our house for a week caring for our cat. Opie seemed happy and well cared for on our return. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Simon.”
About: I’ve taken care of large and small dogs. As well as cats, Guinea pigs, fish, turtles, and frogs. I am open to all types of animals, and am capable of meeting their own individual needs! Currently I don’t have other obligations so I am open to care for pets anytime. This will likely change but I will update the page when that happens!
