1. Janice A.
“Janice is loving, attentive and kind. She communicated well during Addie's visit; we were given frequent updates to help reassure us that Addie was adapting well to her new environment. Addie seemed relaxed and in tune with Janice from the start. We had an introductory visit before our first drop-off where we could see that Addie felt comfortable and confident with Janice and her family. We could see from the photos that Janice sent that Addie was enjoying her time and getting to know the other animals (cats, dogs, sheep) that are part of Janice's home and farm. We could not have hoped for a better outcome. It meant a lot to us that Addie enjoyed her stay because she has a tendency to experience some separation anxiety, but she didn’t seem to have any that day. Janice has a gentle way with animals and is genuinely interested in how they feel and what they need. Addie received excellent care and loving attention during her visit.”
2. Kery D.
“Kery is super nice, has a great space for hosting my pup, great communication, and the wonderful experience. I highly recommend. The minute my boy got there he went right to her and didn't even look back for me when I started the car and left. That says a lot.”
3. Chastity L.
“My Murph deals with separation anxiety and I have been looking for someone local for when I need a sitter. Chastity was understanding, and while Murph was nervous, he definitely played himself out and has a relaxing evening after I picked him up. Thanks so much!”
4. Rosalie F.
“Rosalie was SO GOOD and patient with our nervous chihuahua. She sent great updates and he had a lovely time in her home and fenced yard. We highly recommend her for dogs of all sizes! :)”
5. Analise S.
About: I began my dog sitting adventure 6 years ago while in graduate school in London where I provided dog boarding, doggy daycare, and house sitting. In addition to dog sitting, I run a retreat and events business from my home. I love having a companion and taking walks during my workday. I find peace and pleasure outside, especially by water. I am available for house sitting, boarding, and doggy day care. I can care for dogs that enjoy a love walk as well as the elderly who mostly want to cuddle and rest. Extremely high energy dogs that need to play most of the day are a bit outside my scope but I have a special touch with dogs who experience anxiety. Below are some non-negotiables for working with me: 1. House trained pups only please! 2. For new clients, I require an in-person meet & greet. I’m unable to accept bookings without them! 3. As a means of maintaining the energy in my home, no pet parents may come inside. Meet & greets happen on my porch or in my fenced in backyard and drop offs happen on my porch only. 4. All communication happens in the Rover app. I’m happy to touch base and send a few photos here but I don’t give out my personal phone number. If these details feel aligned with you, please include this emoji: 🐾 in your message so I know you agree to the above! I work full-time from home. I'm able to accommodate a dog from my home or go to a doggie's clean home as long as there is reliable and efficient wifi. Walking during the day is great for me too! I also have experience with dogs who would rather stick close to home. I have a fenced-in yard for doggies to play. I'm comfortable with dogs sleeping in my bed, as well. In my home, I require a house-trained dog that I can take outside for potty breaks but can accommodate a dog who uses pee pee pads or otherwise inside their home.
6. Hadar K.
“Hadar and their dogs were super nice and my dog got on well with theirs. The yard is a nice size and has a great fence, so he got to have some outdoor play time too!”
7. Nicole C.
“Nicole and her dog Bowie are great! So glad to have met them. We’ll be back. I couldn’t keep Penny away. She had so much fun and was well cared for.”
8. Hila Y.
“Hila hosted Millie for a day and Millie had a great time. We are so happy Hila was available. Hila was also communicative and flexible with us. Millie Enjoyed playing with Hila’s dog Ruby too.”
9. Amy S.
“Amy and her husband Chris took great care of my six month old puppy for the day. It was an early drop-off and they were incredibly accommodating (and patient when my puppy then cried like someone had died after I left). Amy was very responsive over text and I felt like my girl was in extremely good hands! Would recommend!”
10. Kaitlyn P.
“Kaitlyn was absolutely amazing! We last minute booked and she was so accommodating! She made sure to update me with pictures and messages and treated my pup so week! We'd be thrilled to book with her again!!!”
11. Kim H.

12. Eleanor M.
“This is our 3rd time using Eleanor for Sparky’s care. And we already have her scheduled again for a week in March. She continues to exceed our expectations. She has a genuine interest in Sparky and they both adore each other. We consider ourselves lucky to have made this connection with Eleanor.”
13. Amy S.
“Amy is amazing with animals! She is very in tune with their needs and knows how to bring out their best pet selves! She cares for her dog, Sage, with gentleness and love, while also instituting regular routines and healthy eating habits. You are in good hands with her caring for your pet.”

About: I’ve been a pet owner since the age of 11. I’ve learned a lot throughout the years and treat my fur babies as my kids. I do believe that our pets deserve a lot of patience. These days I work from home. And am home 90% of the time :) I also have a gated yard which is available to pets 24/7 when they stay over. I am very attentive. I think it’s important find a way communicate with our pets to make sure their needs are fulfilled. I am excited to get to know your fur babies and potentially build trust with them.
16. Mary Kate K.
“Mary Kate is our go-to dog sitter. She adores our pup so much and he loves her! She has had her own dogs in the past and knows about keeping dogs safe and happy. Her apartment is always very clean and neat. We have never had any issues trusting her with our dog. She is a calm and level-headed person who would never yell or do anything inappropriate. It would be all love and play in her home!”
17. Melinda H.
“Melinda is our go to pet sitter for our golden retriever and two cats. We've used her for last minute walks, overnight stays with our dog, and house visits for the cats while we are away. We feel very comfortable knowing the animals are in good hands with Melinda.”
18. Michaela T.
“Michaela is a great dog sitter! She took excellent care of my young dog. Her dog & mine played so much- tired out my pup, which is just what I want.”
19. Margaret C.
“Margie was great. Helped us out with very little notice. Was flexible with our schedule and took great care of our lab. Would highly recommend.”

About: Hey there! I've walked and sat dogs (not sat on) on and off for the past 16 years, as part of dog sitting agencies and doggy daycares, for friends and family, as well as for my own dog. Caring for furry creatures is one of the most therapeutic antidotes to city life, and because dogs and other animals put me in such a good heart and head space, I'm always present with them and return the favor. I've cared for very young puppies, as well as elderly dogs and cats with special needs. I've administered inhalers for asthma and walked dogs twice my size. I love every animal I come to meet, even those who don't warm up right away. I work from home part-time and set my own schedule, so my weekly availability is very open and flexible. I'd be happy to adjust my plans whenever possible to fit in a walk or a drop-in same day. I care for all pets as I would my own, giving a mix of attention, gentle discipline, and affection in the amounts that each moment calls for. Ensuring that your furry friend feels safe and comfortable in my care, whether they are in my home or their own, is of utmost importance to me. I carry myself with a calm, confident presence when meeting new dogs, to make sure we start our relationship off on the right paw.
