About: I grew up in a home that always had multiple animals. Whether it was cats, dogs, fish, snakes and plenty more I was always taking care of different animals. Now as I’ve grown older the love for animals has not stopped. Dogs are really the best companions and can understand you more than some humans. The love I have for animals is truly the same love I have for family members. I’ll always make sure they are being well taken care of, fed, running freely or on walks, playing and always loved! Your dog will be treated like my own! My work schedule varies quite a bit, I may need to go into work sometimes & in that case my mother is typically home anyway. About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.

Meredith is also available for dog walking! Our dog Sammy is a neutered 12 year old male. He is sweet as can be and either a total couch potato or pulling on a hike, no in-between. About: I’ve worked in animal welfare for 20 years and have experience with every size, breed and need! I’m comfortable administering medication and most importantly, I love animals so much that I’ve dedicated my life to them :). I work full time from home. I have flexible hours and usually go on several walks around my neighborhood a day. The longest I’d be away from home ranges from 2-4 hours and that can be adjusted based on your pets’ needs. I have a fenced yard and lots of love to give! There’s plenty of space in my house for crate(s) and I also welcome dog snuggles if they are allowed to sleep in the bed. I don’t have any other pets in the home but have lots of friends with dogs if yours likes the company.
