About: I lived in California for 4 years and while I was there I was apart of a dog rescue. Many dogs lived at my house. I also had a couple of cats , so I am comfortable around both! I am working part time at the moment so my schedule is pretty open for the most part. You can just ask me a time and I can see if I can work around it! I watch a family friends dog a lot at my house. He just wanders around the house. He is usually stuck to me like glue so he doesn’t go far lol . When he stays at my house he just lays in bed with me. He is a Maltese and Chihuahua mix! When he goes outside to use the bathroom he doesn’t go far and he listens to me when I tell him to come. I do not have fencing or anything around my house.

It is February and the weather is as bad as can be. Freezing rain on top of snow. We never met Paula but she said YES, she would help us! Amazing!! Paula showed up a few minutes early. I immediately felt comfortable and confident that my cat would be well taken care of while I was away for a few hours. Paula was great! About: I grew up with two dogs who were my best friends. I have been steadily watching my sister’s beautiful dog Albert and her new puppy Janice for 3 years. Those days are the best days - i walk them, feed them their meals and required medicine, and always make sure they have loads of attention and pets! I work remotely and my schedule is very flexible, so I can cater to your individualized needs! I travel sometimes on weekends, but with enough notice, I will lock your dog sitting needs into my schedule and always show up in a timely fashion! I always keep an eye on the pets I am watching when out in the yard, even if the space is enclosed - I watch for other animals, etc to always ensure your pet’s safety. I have gone on many a walk with medium to large dogs and always make sure their leash is within 6-8 feet and they are secure within their harness.

About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.

We work nearby our apartment and can walk your dog during the day. We are fine with pets on our furniture and in our bed, but will respect any training you have in place. She reduces anxieties naturally by listening carefully and observing astutely. Hygge had never been away or 'boarded' for pet sitting prior to my experience with Andrea. At all times she was communicative, caring and purposeful in her interactions with Hygge, who probably worried about being in a new home away from home for a few days on many levels. My transportation plans were delayed due to a severe storm that prevented my scheduled pick up, and Andrea was patient, reasonable and loving during my own stress about being stuck in NYC beyond my control for the pick up of my dog after traveling for a few days. She worked with me every step of the way, and the boarding experience was a total success even with transportation issues. Hygge returned home happy, healthy, well-nourished and satisfied with renewed confidence in his ability to work with another lovely family in our sweet community in a spirit of trust and sucess. All in all, I would recommend Andrea to work with anyone who has pets they love and want to broaden the scope of their pet's world by allowing Andrea to work with them and care for them. About: I lived in California for 4 years and while I was there I was apart of a dog rescue. Many dogs lived at my house. I also had a couple of cats , so I am comfortable around both! I am working part time at the moment so my schedule is pretty open for the most part. You can just ask me a time and I can see if I can work around it! I watch a family friends dog a lot at my house. He just wanders around the house. He is usually stuck to me like glue so he doesn’t go far lol . When he stays at my house he just lays in bed with me. He is a Maltese and Chihuahua mix! When he goes outside to use the bathroom he doesn’t go far and he listens to me when I tell him to come. I do not have fencing or anything around my house.

About: I was raised in a positive pet friendly family environment and had my own dogs and cats for more than twenty years. I can handle large, medium, and small dogs and will look to give them long walks and lots of exercise as a good dog is a tired dog. I work full-time but have plenty of free time during the week and on weekends to feed, walk, play fetch, or just hang out with your dog. I am happy to come to your home and walk your dog and or play at a local dog park, I am familiar with dogs from Yorkshire Terriers and Kings Charles Spaniels to Rottweilers and German Shepards.
