About: I am a lifelong animal lover and have been caring for animals ever since I was a teenager. Today I am the proud mama of a 2 1/2 year-old standard poodle named Biscuit and a 7 year old Labradoodle named Bart, both male. A couple of years ago, my teenage daughters started babysitting and pet sitting in our neighborhood and naturally I got involved every now and then which has led me to Rover. Something interesting about our family is that our older dog, Bart, is a rescue and has quite the story! We drove to Ohio in August 2019 to pick him up and when we got back to Charlotte, he jumped our fence at the time and was missing for 4 months. We worked independently and with an animal tracker over the course of those months - setting up cameras where sightings were reported, setting up food traps, and plastering flyers all over Charlotte and Matthews. Then one day in December, all of our hard work paid off and a lovely woman was able to lure Bart into her yard with her own dogs. It has been a long road since then, but we are blessed to say that he has come a long way and is a very different dog than the one we picked up in Ohio all those years ago! That experience taught us so much and was a true testament to the power of determination and dedication. We truly believe that Bart was meant to be in our family. I am currently a stay at home mom of older kids so I have lots of time and flexibility to work with pet parents needs. I have a large fenced yard that has been reinforced because of 1 of our own dogs being an escape artist. We do not crate our own dogs just because we have not needed to and will allow any dogs staying with us to roam freely with our own, as long as the parents are comfortable with that. I strive to make animals feel at home in our home because I know the feeling that comes with having to leave your animals in someone else’s care.

18. Gonzalo V.
“Gonzalo and his daughter Valentina have provided exceptional care for my pet, exceeding my expectations with their compassion and dedication. They create a safe, loving environment where dogs feel like family, paying close attention to each pet’s unique needs. Their reliability, flexibility, and excellent communication give me complete peace of mind. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and caring dog caregivers.”

About: I fell in love with my Christmas baby. A 7 lb Rottie that turned into a 160lb lap dog. Sebastian went to college with me, 13 hours away. He was my everything, wherever I went he went. I have training as a vet tech. I go above and beyond for my animals. 5 dogs, a bearded dragon later I now have a bunny. His name is Smushy and I can't wait to come home and see his Smushy face. Since I've been with Rover certain clients are concerned that I still have my big boys. They have crossed over the Rainbow bridge. I know will see them again 💞. At this time I only have my bunny,so don't be fearful. He has his own room so he will remain safe and my big boys are watching from above so there is no need for concern in that respect. I currently work at Char Bar in Charlotte. Hours are flexible. I'm available to pet sit inhouse or take your pet for a walk. I can also stop in and make sure to let your pet out, and make sure they are fed and loved. At the moment I live in an apartment in Southpark. My bunny is very well taken care of. He has his own condo/guest room. He is a free roaming boy, until it's bedtime or I'm not here to watch him. I'm very familiar with walking large dogs. I raised a Rottie,3 pitties. I've also taken care of the little ones.

About: I have had cats and dogs growing up every since I was little ! I currently have two friendly cats who loves to play with little dogs. My cats stay mostly outside so if your dog doesn’t care of cats I will make sure they are separated. I have been pet sitting a Yorkie for about two years! He has become part of the family ! I take him to the doggie park and walk him every hour and half . I’m a stay at home mom so I have flexibly to play and care for your furry friend ! My kids also love helping me walk and take care of the dogs. They get super excited to play ball and take them on walks . I’m at stay at home mom and I have flexible from 8:15 until 2;45 during the week ! For the weekends I occasionally go visit my dad so it all depends when the client needs me. I have a big backyard where I can play ball with your fur baby ! I will keep them on the lease during walks and will be in a crate at night in a private room.
