About: Hello, I’m Kat. I LOVE Dogs!!! I have worked professionally with dogs my entire life. I am a private dog groomer, trainer, caretaker and I specialize in off leash hikes on our private trails. Leashes are also welcome as needed. Guest dogs stay in the house with me and my two fun loving and respectful dog pals and are treated like family. We send regular photo updates so you can be assured your dog is having a wonderful time. I mostly work from home, there are days when I need to be away but never for more than four hours. We do a daily four mile hike, off-leash, though leashes are welcome also. Guest dogs are treated like family. I’ve got two fun-loving and respectful dogs who are accustomed to guests. It’s a dog party everyday! We do a daily four mile off-leash hike, which of course can be leashed as necessary. For the most part all the dogs go with me on trips to town etc. Guests usually bring a crate for their private sleeping den. Guests bring their own food. I liberally utilize yummy treats to encourage great behavior. Pet parents can be assured that I have decades of experience in dog handling including vet experience and I am great at noticing the small things with dog health and behavior. My clients quickly become extended family!

Always a lover of all animals big or small, old or young - at age 12, I began pet sitting / dog walking for neighbors, friends, family, etc. I have boarded, walked, fed, bathed, administered medications, etc. for dozens of animals over the years. About: I've taken care of animals ever since I can remember, and I am grateful to have been raised around cats and dogs. It has shaped who I am as a person. I have rescued many dogs and cats (or maybe they chose me), and I have experience with training, administering medication, young pets, old pets - all of it. I think the instructions I leave for our sitter are ~3 pages long, so I won't judge! I have experience with young animals and the elderly, and have administered medications for both dogs and cats. For example, when walking my dogs, I always put safety first, watch for cars and other animals, and stay aware of my surroundings. I pay attention. I'm the kind of person who often checks the perimeter of my fenced yard, has multiple dog cameras, makes sure there are no ways out, and double-checks the gate locks. I know it might sound like I'm a helicopter parent, and that might just be a fact. Shar Peis are a stubborn (and amazing) breed of dog, but they notoriously require this level of attention, so I am going to credit my sweet dogs for training me to be the ultimate caretaker. Fun fact: I've had Shar Pei for the past 20 years! I'm here to meet your animals where they are when we are together - if they want to hang out, cuddle, play, and be goofy, great! But if they just want to chill on their own, I will respect their space.
About: Ever since I was a kid I’ve had a passion for animals, and animal care. I genuinely love working with them, dogs are my strong point, and I have years of experience as well as have some training under my belt. I also am experienced in handling reptiles and large livestock! 🥰 I also wanna state that I can and am always willing to help out, however I do have a job I work Monday through Friday during the early afternoon to evening, so usually anything after 4 or 5pm works for me best! I work part time at a dealership in Santa Rosa, so I do have a lot of free time! I don’t mind over nights, and I don’t mind early mornings if need be! I’m very flexible with my schedule!
